I was so thankful to her and her team (Amy & Kelly) that I'd have paid double the amount they billed my insurance!

From the initial meeting with Evelyn up front where she makes things so easy for you to understand to the time you go back , get your scan done and x-rays by either Liz, Desiree or Linda, to then meeting with Dr. Nesari everything is handled seamlessly! This is truly the A-Team of dentistry! If I ever need to have a root canal or even want a second opinion this is definitely where I will come! I recommend this establishment 100%!

My daughter, who has had difficult experiences with dentists in the past, felt very comfortable and in excellent hands with Dr. Roy Nesari. He performed a root canal, and my daughter described it as if "an angel's hands" were working on her. Ms. Evelyn assisted us on both visits with a beautiful smile and outstanding customer service. We are truly grateful for the care we received and wholeheartedly recommend this office -- 100% recommended. On behalf of Emily Silva López and Margarita López Chávez, thank you to you and your team of professionals.

I cannot recommend Dr. Wirig enough. I was so nervous about my first (hopefully last) root canal…read morebut he walked me through everything, assured me it would be pain free, and that there would be very little to no downtime at all. And he was right! I didn't feel anything, he was so quick and attentive, and so far, still barely any swelling. Nobody wants to get a root canal but if you come here you're in the best hands! Thank you Dr. Wirig!! Shannon K

Headlines 1. Overly confident, at great fault…read more2. "When going gets tough, the tough get going" Whilst Dr Wirig enjoys stellar reviews, they don't hold up in that 1% of cases where it goes wrong (like my situation). A high level chronological experience: May 12: root canal. I paid the extra $$ for a 3D scan to ensure that the tooth was indeed not broken. May 13: something feels awfully wrong: the same pain is back, and worse (or: it is not a recovery pain). I email Dr Wirig and he responds immediately that "This is all very normal". This was his first opportunity to ask more questions or even have me quickly come back in. So I toughen it out. May 22: I develop a massive infection right before Memorial Day weekend. I email Dr Wirig; no response (yet: basic email trackers show that the email was opened). Thankfully my general dentist (Marina Park Dental) jumps in and prescribes antibiotic while I wait (4 days) for offices to reopen. May 26: still no response, so my general dentist reaches out and twists his arm for me: a new appointment that day with Dr Wirig. This time, it seems that the tooth was broken after all (which also means that the root canal and crown was a complete waste of time and money). There is no advice from Dr Wirig on where to go from here, so once again, my general dentist is coming to the rescue. I get a same day tooth extraction scheduled. In that procedure, I am told that the infection had spread significantly and more tissue than usual had to be cleaned / removed. May 26-28: I feel better. Hurray! May 29: the pain creeps back in .. and I email Dr. Wirig. Knowing that I track emails, this time he responds and calls me. Whilst one might consider that progress, his overly confident approach once again gets the better of him. He asks no real questions and after 20 seconds in the call, he states: "You are within 3-5 days from a tooth extraction, this is normal. Wait till next week and give me a call then". I know this wrong; having lost complete confidence in him, I reach out to another endodontist immediately after our call. May 29 continued: I am seen immediately by Dr Wong Ralan who spends 20min asking questions and listening. He thinks the surgery may have caused a leakage to my sinuses, triggering new pain. This is indeed immediately confirmed with another 3D scan and addressed with a bunch more of antibiotics. Meanwhile, Dr Wirig must have had an inkling that maybe, just maybe he could have done better and he calls me back - essentially "a day late, a gesture short". I politely explain to him that I have lost my confidence. I ask for a copy of his 3D imagery and he promises to share it with me. FWIW, he never did and when I even stopped by the office a week later (Jun 3), his staff was clueless. I am honestly starting to wonder if he is intentionally holding it back to avoid any malpractice claims from me. Today is Jun 27. I still have a whole in my mouth. So much tissue was removed from the infection that there was not enough left for things to heal as it should. Dr Wirig might be out of my life but I am still dealing with the consequences from it. When everything goes well, I suspect Dr Wirig is good enough. But when it doesn't go well, he not only fails to step up but also can't remedy (or even acknowledge the issue). This is the exact feedback articulated in the other 1-2 star reviews. In my case, this is has led to an infection that never should have been there in the first place, a bone grafting in jeopardy, a lot of time and money lost, and just sheer agony for weeks. None, absolutely none of it, would have been the case if I had worked with the right endodontist from the start. If you think you can fall in that 1%, I recommend you go elsewhere.

When I called to schedule a consultation, I didn't have much discomfort, just a sense that something under my crown didn't feel right. I was hoping to delay the procedure for as long as possible, but the receptionist encouraged me to come in sooner. Within a couple of days after my initial call, what started as intermittent nagging sensitivity turned into throbbing pain, making it hard for me to concentrate at work. I was relieved that the receptionist had me come in when she did. I met with Dr. Wong, who eased my anxiety. He was able to squeeze me in the following day for the procedure after my consultation. The nurses and staff were excellent; they knew what they were doing and were very professional. Dr. Wong explained everything to me, and the procedure, dare I say, was easy? They allowed me to choose a movie to watch as a distraction, and honestly, I didn't care what was playing. I thought I'd be wincing and clutching the side of my seat, but I truly didn't feel any pain at all--only vibration and pressure. I was able to enjoy nearly an entire movie. The entire event took about 1.5 hours. I am still recovering and have been told that any soreness may take a bit to subside, but it's nothing compared to the pain I experienced before. I don't wish a root canal on anyone, but if you have to get one, this is the place to go. They stayed late for me and looked tired when they were finished. I wanted to hug them before I left because I was so thankful.

Near the end of my root canal, Dr. Stephanie Lee exclaimed, "we preserved the anatomy of the tooth!…read moreTooth anatomy is so beautiful." Beautiful? I looked to Betty, the dental assistant to whom I had clung during the procedure as if she'd looked after me since a time before teeth sprung up through my gums. Betty smiled warmly and asked for the umpteenth time, "how are you doing?" I attempted a half-mouthed smile. I had heard my teeth called many things, but never beautiful. You see, bad teeth were the unfortunate inheritance granted me by my father. "Bad," such an ugly word--full of the shame of childhood. No matter how I brushed, and flossed, and scrubbed, and rinsed, and brushed again, the fault always seemed to add up to my own poor performance. That's what old, white haired, men seemed to think anyway. And, old, white haired men have seldom learned to keep their own pearly white opinions behind closed lips. This new word, "beautiful," brushed my numb cheek with a gentleness and an insight so different from those unkempt gentlemen. It eased away a layer of shame and lifted a pound or two of anxiety. Dr. Lee and Betty had no malice in their prescription for post-surgical care. They had to judgement for the tears I had cried as they leaned back the chair or the squeaking noise that had escaped me during the injections. They thought my tooth was beautiful--even as it required drills and paste--beautiful. I suppose the world shifts one tooth at a time.

Integrity, empathy and a pain free experience…read more Dr Brown is AMAZING!!! I underwent a root canal with him today and can honestly say, he is the gold standard of care. I originally saw him a few days ago because I was concerned about the original pain in my upper quadrant but also referred pain in the lower quadrant. Rather than pushing for a procedure immediately, Dr. Brown showed incredible integrity. He told me he wasn't 100% sure yet and didn't want to move forward until I developed specific symptoms that would definitively confirm a root canal was necessary, and said he would check in with me via phone two days later. I truly appreciated his 'wait and see' approach- it engendered so much trust. The office itself is perfect- it doesn't feel like a daunting clinical setting. It feels intimate, warm and comfortable, which immediately lowers your stress levels. And what incredible views of the city! My experience was entirely pain-free and seamless. It went by so quickly! As someone who struggles with a bit of claustrophobia, I was worried about the dental dam, which I told him about beforehand. He sat next to me- 'with' me and really listened, assuaging my fears, offering a solution, seamlessly placing it and cutting it away from my nose and pulling it a bit out on one side so I could breathe easily and feel in control. Dr. Brown is a consummate professional with a perfect effortless wit. He is incredibly charismatic and uses his humor in a way that is perfectly timed to put you at ease and make the environment feel lighthearted. What sets him apart, is that he is truly 'in it' with you. There isn't a trace of ego or stiffness about him; he is incredibly down to earth and relatable. He sits with you, and makes you feel completely aligned, like you are a team working together. He drew out the plan beforehand and gave me constant updates throughout the procedure (i.e., We're halfway done,' or "I'll be drilling for just a minute'). Feeling safe and heard is the most important thing to me. I believe it is a vital caveat for anyone visiting a doctor; the physiological and psychological warmth of the environment is just as important as the clinical work. When a patient is put at ease by the reassuring presence and trustworthiness of their doctor, it makes all the difference in the world. Dr. Brown provides exactly that. If you are nervous about dental work, this is the doctor you want in your corner! Thank you so much Dr. Brown. :)
