Reviews With Photos - Regina Russell's Tea Room

    Amuse B.

Edit: I was harassed by Richard, a psychic at Regina Russell's Tea room for my review. My mother and I have spent hundreds of dollars here over the past year and I get threatened with "legal action" for the way I described the psychic (since I didn't remember his name at the time)? No thanks. Old review: This. place. is. the. CUTEST. So you walk in, and they sit you down at a little table. Then, like a little waitress, a lady will ask you if you want some tea, hot chocolate, coffee, lemonade, or something else to drink (all free). Instead of a menu of food, you get a menu of psychic reading options and descriptions. I went with my mom and got a 15 minute spirit reading and a 60 minute "combo" which included tarot and a palm reading. I got two different people. One did my spirit reading and she was spot-on at times, and very off at other times. Luckily, I got a new lady for my hour tarot & palm reading. I had Theresa and she was really good. She was very accurate and positive which was nice and I left with a good feeling. I'm a huge skeptic, so that's saying a lot. My mom on the other hand, wasn't all that pleased with her reading from Richard, her psychic. She actually wanted to go back and pay for a new reading the minute that we left. However, on the ride home, we listened to the recording of her session (she recorded it on her iPhone) and found it really wasn't as off as she had originally thought. He did, however, tell her that my brother (who is both blind and handicapped) would be heading off to college and would be big into college sports. Unlikely. So I guess you could say it's hit or miss, but it's pretty cheap ($30 for half an hour I think, or you can do 15 minutes which I think was $20), and you get free drinks and a glimpse into this house that is totally set up like a brothel. Very cool little experience for a group of friends on a weekend.

I took this photo and I cannot be convinced that there's isn't a small orb peeking out at me...

Tina is THE BEST. I've seen her a number of times and absolutely recommend booking time with her in advance if you're stopping by.

The drinks usually don't disappoint... I've tried quite a few and they're always been yummy. Today I ordered the Peach Green Tea with Milk Foam, but I wouldn't recommend it since it tasted a bit sour. All my friends' drinks tasted amazing. My personal favorite is the Tbaar Green Milk Tea because it's floral and creamy. If you like drinks that are more on the milky side rather than super strong tea, Tbaar is definitely for you. I'd recommend it as a good hangout spot and enjoy boba with friends!

My memory of having Tbaar in the past is fuzzy, though I don't remember enjoying it very much back then. They have so many drinks on their menu, I honestly couldn't figure out what I wanted haha. Thankfully, one of the workers helped me out by giving me recs & I was then able to decide on two smoothies to try! I ordered a mango strawberry banana smoothie & mango orange smoothie. Thoughts: Both drinks had an artificial taste. The mango orange smoothie came with mango chunks that reminded me of the canned dole pineapple chunks, same idea. Eh. Still drinkable though but not something I would come back again for. I did enjoy the strawberry mango banana smoothie much more than the mango orange smoothie. Originally wanted to give Tbaar 3 stars, however, the worker that helped me was very nice & saw some other reviews saying to try their teas so maybe I will give that a try next time.

We walked into a bright, casual space with a clean, modern setup that makes it an easy stop if you are looking for a dessert or snack. The shop has a playful energy with a layout designed around counter service and quick turnover, and the shared seating area nearby makes it convenient to enjoy your order on the spot. The mochi donuts are the main attraction and are noticeably different from a traditional donut. They have a soft, chewy texture with a slightly crisp exterior, giving each bite a unique consistency that sets them apart. The flavors rotate regularly, so there is usually a good variety to choose from, whether you prefer something simple like classic glaze or more dessert-like options such as matcha or strawberry. The glazes add sweetness without completely overpowering the dough, making it easy to try more than one flavor in a visit. Beyond the donuts, the drink menu offers plenty of choices, from classic milk teas to fruit teas and specialty drinks with fresh toppings. The Korean-style corn dogs are also worth considering if you want something savory before dessert, with a crispy coating and a variety of toppings that give the shop a more complete menu than a typical donut store. The combination of sweet and savory options makes it easy to build a snack or light meal that fits whatever you are in the mood for. Service was friendly and efficient, with the staff handling the steady flow of customers and the donuts prepared fresh throughout the day. The overall experience is quick and straightforward, designed around grab-and-go convenience, but the quality of the mochi donuts and the variety of drinks make it a stop worth making. Mochinut & OneZo is a fun spot for anyone looking to try mochi donuts or grab a bubble tea, with a menu that rewards repeat visits as the flavors rotate and new options become available.
