Instead, new people constantly showed up, which was even more concerning because of COVID. Sometimes, no one show up at all or Chris would text to cancel on us with less than an hour notice. When his staff did bother to show up, they weren't trained. Numerous times, they didn't properly clean my dad. One even admitted she was actually a receptionist and had zero experience with dementia care. I do not recommend Dignity at Home Care. I'm saddened by how they treated my dad.

Instead of working with me to replace this caregiver who has created an extremely toxic environment, the agency will go behind my back and reach out to another family member who has very little to do with the caregiving, is easily manipulated and it results in arguments about replacing the caregiver. I don't want a caregiver who is only in it for the money and who does not have patients wellbeing in mind. I constantly have to step in and make sure the patient is being cared for. I should be allowed to replace a caregiver that I have no trust in. The caregiver should not be in charge and the agency should not be in charge.
