The DAY OF my appointment 3 hours…read morebefore the appointment time, I am called and told the doctor reviewed an ultrasound I had and blood work (a metabolic panel that's for my TPN infusions and isn't kidney focused) and that everything was fine so I don't need to come in. Never asked me if I had any symptoms, never viewed the abnormal kidney results I've had for 2 months on other blood work despite me telling them about it, not interested in hearing my concerns and putting them to rest. How unprofessional and disrespectful (not to mention probably illegal to clear someone over the phone- I was told I have no issues). If something turns out to be wrong, I hope it's on their conscience. Anyway, don't waste your time going to this facility. It's clear they have no respect over how valuable my time is (I get 3 hours notice same business day of a non-emergency cancellation??) or how important my health is and understanding my health.

From my experience in the hospital meeting one of the nephrologists with his comforting bedside manor to my experience in the office with my nephrologist who listened to my concerns to the wonderful staff who has handled everything with such care and dedication. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me through my uncertainty. I recommend this practice to anyone looking for a nephrologist/ hypertension specialist.

It is rare to find a doctor of this caliber and I can't recommend him highly enough. Also, Dr. Patel and Dr. Toma were wonderful. I have been coming here for 4 or 5 years (I wish that wasn't so) and have never been disappointed…read more The staff at the intake desk is professional, friendly and understanding when I apologize for arriving late after having to drive through Lakewood (another story altogether). Dr Kapoor is my physician and he is terrific. You never feel like a piece of meat with him. He knows your history, has reviewed your blood work and is ready to give you necessary advice (I seem to remember "lose a little weight"). All kidding aside, this is a good practice.

Well, I had no idea I needed one of these super special Dr's, but evidently when you have high…read moreblood pressure and wind up in the hospital because of it and having a dodgy heart---- sometimes a cardiologist isn't enough. So, they give you one of these Dr's to make sure your body is running like a well oiled engine. Dr. Brouder happens to be the lucky Dr that got me for a patient. I kinda felt bad for him because I am not the easiest of patients when under stress and I always have a gazillion questions, posed in different ways so that I "GET" what is being said. Dr. Brouder visited me in the hospital and right away he out me at ease, he was very nice, went over all the things that needed to be checked, tests I was going to have and really had a nice soft understanding nature about him. I liked it, because he also took my family into consideration and made it so that family understood what was going on as well. I had a follow-up appointment with him after I was out of the hospital and that was also a very easy going relaxed experience. His staff is very professional, friendly and polite, great front office staff as well as back of the house crew, my great appreciation. Obviously, I will be having more future visits to this office and I can honestly say, I am not dreading it, because the staff as a whole, treats you as a person and patient, not a number or a dollar sign, you may have to wait a bit in the lobby when it comes to appointment times, but sometimes some appointments take longer that are ahead of you, so I was cool with that since I didn't feel rushed once it was my turn.

The office staff and Dr. Brouder were the kindest, most compassionate people i have ever met. They kept me calm and well informed of what was going on. I would HIGHLY recommend this office!!
