Today I came into cash my pay check. I was told by my sister that is a branch manager at another…read morebank that if my paycheck is from the same bank I would be able to go to that same bank to cash my check. Yes I am aware that there would be a small fee to do so. The reason I came in today was because I changed my direct deposit weeks ago but still had to wait for a paper check in the mail today. I'm missing my paycheck from last week and I needed cash today to cover all my automatic payments. Everything started okay as I stated that I do not have an account at Chase. The teller was nice and I provided everything that was needed. I endorsed the check and then she left to a room and came back and then another lady stepped in and told me I couldn't cash my paycheck here even if it's from Chase. Then they stamped the back of my check and told me I would have to go to my brick and mortar bank PNC and cash my check because now it's stamped with a cancel endorsement!! So I couldn't just cash it on my PNC mobile app now. We rushed to the Venice location before they closed. And thankfully they were able to help me with a express deposit and they also couldn't understand why Chase wasn't able to cash their own issued check from my employer. I know now I will never have an account with this bank after today.

Nobody answers the phone, few tellers, personal bankers siting in closed door offices with NO customers and then get up to leave the building or use the bathroom and then go right back to their office without saying "boo" to the waiting customers. I went in to start a CD, but instead went to another bank who offer .25% less, but acknowledged my presents upon entry. I worked many years in a state chartered bank in the Heartland and we would have been schooled/fired if we treated customers in the above manner. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BANKING INSTITUTION!!!!!!!!

They put a 17 DAY HOLD on my payment! It was a direct bank to bank transfer initiated on the Wells Fargo online portal. The funds were taken from my bank account on February 4th. They were received by Wells Fargo on February 4th. Now it's the 17th and my "available" balance is still only $30 even though my "outstanding" balance is thousand of dollars below my credit limit. I haven't been able to make purchases with the card for weeks. I can understand a hold of 7 days for a personal check, but a 17 DAY HOLD on a direct bank to bank transfer is OUTRAGEOUS! This card is useless for my business. I will go back to using my Citi Double Cash Back Mastercard (never had an issue on a hold for a payment).
