As strange as it may sound, I couldn't help but to feel like I am guilty of wasting everyone's time there, and I felt rushed and flushed out of there quickly. Yes, I love physicians who are on time and the office so efficient that I waltz out of there happy and ready to get on with the rest of my day. Maybe it's just me who felt bad about the reasons and cause of issues I have presented and I felt like there's really nothing anyone can do about it. Maybe I should just call it disappointment. I'm not sure. Whatever the case is, I will just go back to my regular orthopedic office I've come accustomed to.

He was very confident that he could give do the surgery and improve my quality of life as it pertained to my foot pain and issues. I am going to be honest, there was a good amount of work done to my foot. Repair a plantar plate, fix a mild bunion, and remove 2 neuromas. He said he needed to shorten the second toe. I did everything that he told me to do. I did physical therapy in his office for the full recommended time. I went every week wearing 2 masks in a crowded office. I did all recommendations...Alex Brinlee my PT was excellent. However, Dr Feldman kept pushing the goalpost when I was not pain-free with the right amount of mobility in my foot. First, it was, give it 3 or 4 months....then, it takes at least 6 months, then, 9 months I am sure it will be better, and finally, this usually takes a year...Well, we are about 1.5 years post and my second toe doesn't move, the pain barefoot is the same or worse and I STILL can only wear sneakers comfortably. I cannot WEAR a small wedge or simple ONE inch heel. He said that I would be able to wear better shoes and was VERY confident. One visit that I had where I was complaining about my pain and the thickness on my foot, he ASSURED me that the thickness GOES AWAY and also told me that my x-ray was beautiful. Hmmm...Oh, I am glad my x-ray looks so lovely but how about you acknowledge how the PATIENT feels? I definitely felt he was being extremely arrogant. So, as time has gone on, I am very grateful that I can walk. I am grateful that I have my foot! But not happy with the outcome of my surgery. I did NOT want to post this review, but I wrote Dr Feldman a letter letting him know of my displeasure. Of course, he did NOT respond to me. That in itself speaks volumes. I want say that while I do NOT think that Dr. Feldman did anything WRONG. It just happened but his arrogance and lack of solutions are what is disappointing. Oh, let me not forget to mention that he recommended that I "protect my investment" by purchasing $300 custom insoles that HURT SO MUCH I CANNOT WEAR them. A total waste of money. Think twice about going to this practice!!!! Is this the type of doctor you want? Arrogance and no offering of better solutions to what a patient considers a FAILED surgery?

My first appointment I waited over an hour to be seen. The doctor explained there was a ski…read moreaccident that required emergency care. I told him that's fine and proceeded with my visit. My follow up visit I was told to arrive 15 mins early which I did. As time went on and noticing other patients going to the back while I'm still waiting. After about 35-40 mins I asked how much longer and the receptionist called to the back and they said five mins. A few minutes later a young man came to get me and escorted me back to the patient room. He told me that the doctor will be in shortly. After waiting another 10-15 mins I heard the doctor go in the room next door and started with another patient. My total visit again was over an hour and no one communicated that the doctor was behind or checked to see if I wanted to wait or reschedule. I left and shortly after I got home someone from the office called me and said they didn't know where I was and what happened to me. I explained to her how it's unprofessional and disrespectful to think a patients time isn't important. The fact that no one told me he was behind or gave me the option to wait or reschedule. Typically, doctors will reschedule if a patient is 15 mins late and the same courtesy should be for the other way around. The doctor never came to me and explained the delay or anything. My time is just as valuable. No, I cannot in good faith recommend this business.

I was having a shoulder issue. I went to his office and the x-ray tech took images of my neck. I…read moreasked why wasn't he taking images of my shoulder? I was basically ignored. Then Dr Schluntz came in with my images and was angry that the images of my neck was useless, so he barked at me to get ones of my shoulder. I said, I tried to explain that to radiology. So, he sent me back down the hall. He was really agitated by it. That was the first crappy thing that happened. But then, he wanted to give me a cortisone shot in my arm and I said, "I want to talk about it first." He came at me with the needle; I was boxed in between a wall to my left and a wall in front of me. He responded, "Let's talk about it later", and SHOVED THE NEEDLE IN MY ARM!!!! I WAS ASTOUNDED. TALK ABOUT MALPRACTICE. I had a very good reason to discuss getting cortisone because of a previous reaction I had when I'd been put on prednisone several years before, and it just about crippled me; I couldn't lift my arms over my head, I couldn't drive or shampoo my hair. It was miserable. Like I said, I was flabbergasted. I was so much in shock by it, that I said nothing. When I went back, I explained to Dr Schluntz that what he did was unacceptable and negligent and that I was very displeased. He didn't acknowledge me at all. Not a single syllable came out of his mouth. He acted as if I had said nothing. Needless to say, he is arrogant and irresponsible. What a jerk.

I went to see Dr. Gazdag and he was wonderful. He was funny and an excellent professional. We took more X-rays, so if you see a light in Rockville, it is just me glowing at night. I am in a boot and a cane, but no surgery needed. Amen! The people who work with Dr. Gazdag and Ortho Bethesda were awesome. They were very nice and helpful. I really liked the fact that you do not need to sign a contract with Precision and although they offer monthly memberships, you can also buy class cards, which is good for me since I am not an extremely structured exerciser. Also, they offer both fitness classes, equipment, and physical therapy, which appealed to me since I've had multiple injuries the past few years that have been affecting my activity level. Precision is in one of the office parks in the Rockledge area and is nothing fancy in terms of its looks and doesn't fall into the category of a "bargain gym," but the classes I've been to (spin, yoga, and pilates reformer) are FABULOUS and are worth every penny! They are challenging, and the instructors really pay attention to what you are doing and make an effort to introduce themselves to new people in their classes, learn your name, and help you adjust as needed to really perform the exercises correctly. They are also great about asking if you have any injuries that limit some of your movements and help you modify as needed. Besides the great classes, the people who attend the classes are much friendlier than in any gym I've belonged to EVER, which is pretty refreshing. The only down side is they do not offer too much in the evenings in terms of classes...so I am trying my best to become a morning exerciser. It's probably better for me anyways to get it out of the way first thing in the day :)
