I have been seeing her for several weeks and I have noticed a significant drop in my pain level. I am now taking less pain meds and moving and functioning better. My quality of life is better already and I am again hopeful about my future which is priceless. After my initial evaluation with Nick and the first few therapy sessions, I could immediately tell I was making progress. I learned how to perform proper exercises and stretches and was encouraged to share feedback after each session. Nick listened to all my concerns and showed me how to tackle all those challenges. I was not only undergoing treatment, I was learning how to perform and maintain the correct and meaningful exercises at home or at the gym. This could not be further from the truth. He fostered a rapport with me since I moved here in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic while I did not know any other physical therapy options. Jason leverages patients' injuries and personal lives for how they can serve his career needs. He told me that what I needed for my hip and hamstring tear was "personal training", when I could not run without pain. This medical opinion was incorrect, as determined by my orthopedic specialist and other physical therapists. Jason knew he just did not have the specific industry expertise, clinic space, or equipment to *appropriately* finish rehabbing my advanced near surgical-level hamstring tear. Many times in the years I saw him for my recurring spine issues, Jason was intrusive in my communication with my doctors to suit his business networking objectives. I have seen him make patients cry and lose his temper on his staff. I would avoid him and his practice at all costs.

Scott Booth, DPT, this clinics' Physical Therapist/owner, is a highly energetic, knowledgeable and experienced provider who practices traditional and manual physical therapy and presents with an array of effective intervention strategies. Scott is the best doctor of physical therapy that I have had, over eight orthopedic surgeries in 30 years. Scott owns Paragon Care, a home health company and I met him when he managed my in-home, post-operative care last year. Scott has helped me following two knee replacements, a cervical disc (neck) surgery, and a shoulder replacement. Additionally, I had a six disc back fusion five years ago, and he is currently treating me to reduce referred pain, which has returnedover time. Scott typically used trigger-point manipulation , cupping, electrical stimulation, massage and exercise during our sessions. No time is wasted, he is prepared, efficient, quite personable and VERY kind. Scott is the real deal and accepts many kinds of insurance. Hope you are lucky enough to get to work with him! The combination of her personal gifts, professional training, skills, and experience make her an excellent person with whom to work: she is personable, knowledgeable, articulate, and flexible with exercises/treatments as needed. She really listens to clients (more and more a rarity), is attentive to what's going on with one's body during exercises (even when you don't know it) and points out needed improvements in form, placement, etc. One day she noticed that one of my legs looked a little longer than the other when doing an exercise and called me over to do some readjustment movements, something I can do on my own as well. It really helped. The clinic is run efficiently with the engaging and ever efficient Maggie at its helm. It may sound strange to say, but I am sorry when a course of treatment ends! One more thing to say: If you are looking for the big high tech clinics with lots of machines and equipment, this may not be the right place for you. What is of benefit is that every exercise Sylvia taught me in our sessions can easily be reproduced at home with aids that can be acquired from Target or Walmart. From the time you arrive to the time you leave, you know you are in very good hands. Once you arrive, you do not have to wait very long for your therapist to come get you. He/she will help you every step of the way and make you feel very comfortable. The first time I went, I was very nervous because I know my limitations and was afraid they would push me too far. That was not the case at all. They respect what you are telling them and they make extra effort to make sure you are not in danger of harming yourself further by overexerting your limitations. They have aquatic therapy which is what I am currently using. The group that is usually there is small so you really get a lot of personal attention and support. I have a very good feeling that they are going to help me get to where I need to be! I can already tell that I have extra energy. I am excited about the future because they really give me hope!

Disappointing to see such a good-intentioned doctor purposefully ripping people off . . . Dr…read more Dubrow is good at her job and deserves much respect for the dedication she has put toward her professional career. New patients receive a folder of paperwork to sign, one of the most important being a notice that Dr. Dubrow provides a far-advanced evaluation that seldom few doctors provide, and that while this is a tremendous benefit to her patients, insurance companies might not pay for it. I asked Dr. Dubrow about this when we were chatting at our first appointment and she advised that she legally cannot provide services to patients she has not first evaluated. This seemed very sensible to me, and knowing I had good insurance, I wasn't concerned moving forward. That is, until I got a bill for $262. What Dr. Dubrow fails to mention is the reason her "evaluation" is denied is because she bills under code 99205, which is a Level 5 severity code for MEDICAL DOCTORS, not for her PhD or DPT. Her licenses require her to bill under therapeutic codes, which I can only assume pay less hence why she avoids using them. When Dr. Dubrow contracted to be a provider under my insurance policy, one of the things she would have had to agree to, was to properly bill under the correct codes for her medical license. If she has issue with the rate she is paid, this is undoubtedly as issue she the right to take up with insurance carriers, but she has no right to put her patients, those she has dedicated her career to help, in the middle. It is unkind, and in my opinion, immoral.
