I would NEVER WVER recommend this doctors office to anyone. My husband saw dr shane leavitt who…read moreaccused him of abusing his medication when the reality was that he never abused it he took less than recommended and also had constant issues with getting prescriptions sent to the pharmacy at all. He said it was suspicious that we had to call the office multiple times to have prescriptions sent over after they said it was over TEN TIMES. Then when his PA Dillon advised my husband to up his dose from a 5mg to a 10mg every 4-6 hours they consistently sent the prescription in wrong and only for 5mg. They distinctly made him appear as a drug seeker when he started off saying he didn't want to take the meds at all, then when they recasted him at 4 weeks as planned the doctor said there was 15 prescription sent over and that this would be my husbands final refill and taper down of opiates which we we're completely excited about! We'll two hours later we call the pharmacy and shocker no script sent. We call the doctors office and get a call back from dr leavitt himself saying we had picked up all 15 scripts. Not true at all it was 4 which was exactly what he had prescribed and exactly on time each time never early. Then he discontinued treatment and threatened my husband with being redlined at the pharmacy, I spoke with the pharmacist who knows us very well and recommended reporting him to the board of medicine. Which will be done tomorrow first thing! Oh best part! When he discontinued medication treatment he also refused further treatment for his broken hand/arm. So he left my husband with broken bones and a cast with no doctor for treatment. He also refused to set my husband up with a new doctor or recommend a new doctor for him. He's an awful person. And doctor. Even threatened to punch my husband while putting the cast on. Don't ever let him touch or treat your body he discriminates against people of color and people with tattoos and piercings as well. If I could say anything to Dr. Leavitt communicate with your PA and if you're unable to do that, don't be a doctor. Obviously, your PA is more educated than you are.

(Technology has come a long way!) It was also recommended to have surgery for a hammertoe. My experience with Dr. Gerber, assistants and the office staff has been nothing but pleasant, professional and enjoyable. I have been seen in a timely manner at each appointment; pre & post op to surgery, stitches out and pin removal. My questions have been answered at the time of asking. Nothing but positive. The next time they spoke she told him how I wasn't acting right, my skin color was not good, I was glassy eyed. He said called him and get him in here. That busy people would take time out of their day to be concerned about someone that most practices would consider just another patient amazes me. The story gets better, I went in and Dr Crownover did blood tests in house. Who has a lab in their Practice TV Medicine does. In a short time He told me to go to a certain place because they work with my insurance better and cost less. He was truly concerned about me from my health to finances. About 30 minutes later getting a CT scan. Dr Crownover himself calls me and tells me that someone needs to take me to the hospital. At the hospital I am told that I may not survive. I had a mess in my liver that was over 30cm in diameter. It had filled my body with ammonia I was in trouble. The hospital did a good job of helping me get my health turned around. I was sent home after the hospital had told me that their home care manager had set up everything and I was good to go home and people would be calling and setting up taking care of my home care needs. About a week later and no one has called I have no idea who to call. My wife called and Spoke with Michaela and Stephanie. They have stepped in and taken such good care of me.
