The quality and selection of furniture is awesome but what really made the most impact on me was meeting Orlando, who made me feel so very pampered and as if he was my own personal decorator which I have never had before. He has a very kind and warm and steady temperament and cares beyond what feels as if it's a job. he responded to me when he wasn't working, he helped me quiet my anxiety when I thought my chandelier might be too large for the space, ( it wasn't) and throughout the whole process made me feel like we were in this together. I thought Orlando was trying to feel my style and not just what works in the space. He was respectful of my budget and truly only wanted to see me happy and satisfied. You can find anything from antiques, collectibles, dishes, clothes, even a very large wild boar head. I thought some of the prices were high however signs throughout the location indicate prices are negotiable. Staff was friendly and greeted everyone as they entered. There is a scavenger hunt with a prize if you find all the items. You can even buy your beer as you browse. I am sure some people spend hours here. There is limited parking along the side of the building on the street. I am not a thrifter but it was fun to browse Oddballs.

That's probably why he did not give me a refund. He robbed me for ($400) I took it as a learning experience and what I learn is not to deal with the Joshua Tree vanity store ever again,, Sharing my experience with you so you don't make the same mistake I did there's no custom pieces in that store. It is located on Dixie Hwy where there are a lot of used furniture and antique stores. This space was formerly occupied by Castaway Treasures Consignment Gallery. Although the store is small they had a nice selection of items in great condition. I am not an expert on either items or prices but I love to look. A place like this is like a time machine to the past when times seemed simpler. and seeing items from this time period evokes warm memories. Although I didn't purchase anything I enjoyed my visit.

In business for over a decade, owner Jeffrey Chaffi has a knack for selecting the kind of items people actually still want to buy. This is the main Decades store located off of Federal Highway but they also have a second store about a mile away south of Wilton Drive on NE 4th Ave. This store has 4,000 feet of consigned furniture, accessories, and art. As I walked around I couldn't help but notice how many items had hold or sold signs on them. Prices seemed very reasonable and things were moving fast. I only came in to browse but a mermaid Art Deco style lamp sang her siren song to me and next thing I know I had her in hand. I tried to bargain for a discount but apparently she just swam in. I guess if things linger there may be a further markdown but I doubt if anything here lasts that long. Now I am excited to check out their other location. There are so many beautiful and unique items here and they are always turning over making this such a fun store to explore. Some items were in stock while others are custom ordered from Italy with a 12-16 leek lead. I liked the look. And most importantly, the service extended by design consultant James was outstanding. Knowledgeable. Comprehensive. Responsive to questions. Knew his product line. And had an easy welcoming demeanor. Spent the most time in a recliner chair made in Norway, Stressless. It was comfy. No. Very comfy. And available in many colors and grades of leather. We plan to return and revisit the piece and see if we like it as much on second viewing and after additional seating. It was stylish and comfortable. I fell in love with it. I went back for another chair. Instead of the wheeled chair for my desk, I wanted one for my kitchen table where I paint. Being thrilled in both rooms, I went back and bought two more chairs to match the one in the kitchen on wheels and a glass topped table that could be both a coffee or kitchen table. It is now my kitchen table and I couldn't be happier. I love the store and have to fight the urge to go back because everything is stylish, modern and well built. The sales people are knowledgeable, kind and easy to work with. If you want to enjoy spending your money, go to Concepto. What ever you buy, you will enjoy in your home.
