I'll keep this short- Bought a pair of hokas. They hurt my feet. They wouldn't take them back. Neither would Hoka. Just go to Nike or UnderArmour. We randomly went here for the first time because we were a group of large old guys that don't run but needed some good shoes to walk in during cruise week. We had sticker shock at first but you don't skimp on good shoes! It's not much more than I paid for endorsed branded shoes that didn't suit my lifestyle when I was younger! The first time in May was amazing, Karen hooked 3 of us up with comfort we never knew before. Today my GF and I came in because the service was so good I didn't even bother going to my local store 5 hours away. We both left learning more about our shoes and feeling extremely comfortable! We drove 35 minutes from Ocean City, MD to buy new running shoes however when we got there they were opened. Website says 9am however didn't open till 10am. I bought a pair of running shoes here about 7 weeks ago and LOVED them, salesman was great.....happy happy. I always try to support small local businesses and felt great about the purchase. About 5 weeks in I noticed that I was getting a frayed worn spot around the ankle part of the shoe already. I was so disappointed. When I took them in just asking for a replacement ( thinking it was a defective pair) I got a whole different attitude. The sales woman immediately told me it was my issue that I had a weird gait and she has it too and there is nothing she could do for me. I asked her "if it is my gait, why have I never had it on any other running shoes?" her answer I don't know but we don't return shoes. She said she could have the owner call me, that was 5 days ago I have heard nothing. $110 dollars and wore the shoes maybe 18 times. I won't shop there again and recommend you try elsewhere also! read more

Very knowledgeable staff who are always helpful and not pushy. The store has great quality shoes and other products. Be sure to have ample time to spend in the shop because you will be trying on multiple pairs of shoes. The time you spend in the store is absolutely worth it. Be sure to inform the staff member you are working with about any issues you're having with your feet, legs, etc., because they always have solutions/suggestions for these things. read more

His video gait analysis helped me see and understand how I run and what brand and model of shoes work best for me. He also shared local knowledge of trails. At no charge they will put you on a treadmill and video your running style which enables them to put you in the perfect running shoe. so i had a horrible experience at the rehoboth beach running company. i normally buy my shoes at dicks sporting goods. but i was having some difficulty with my feet falling asleep on longer runs. so i decided to get some expert help. when to the store and the employees were very nice and decided to have me try a different size shoe then what i wear this is fine. they placed me in a mans size (i am a woman) a whole size and a half lager then what i normally wear. the employee asked me how i felt i was honest and was said really loose he stated that i would not be used to the new fit and it would just take some time to get used to it. i not knowing figured he was the expert so sure. bought the shoes and brought them home. when for a run in them the next day i did not even get to finish 2 miles before i was ripping them off my feet with striking pain engulfing my whole foot radiating up my calf. it made shin splints feel like a cake walk. there was no way i was getting used to these clown shoes and decided to look up on line if the brand had any sort of guarantee they had a no questions asked guarantee. great call the company and ask them if i can return them they ask me to try and return them to the running company first. so i drive 45 min the next day cause now i have no running shoes. i get there explain the whole thing and they are like sorry company policy we do no take shoes back. its not like i wanted my money back i just wanted to exchange them for the right size. but no exceptions. so i left the store with 110$ pair of running shoes that did not fit. had to spend 20 more dollars to send them back to the brand company and have been without a pair of running shoes for over a month now. running in my work shoes is just not cutting it. so over all i will never ever shop at this establishment again and am going to recommend to all my friend that they do not ether. a very unhappy former customer. read more

I am a fairly new runner and had the Rehoboth Beach Running Company highly recommended to me. Let me start with: I was in the store approximately 2 weeks ago and was completely ignored by staff - not even greeted, despite being in the store for some time. Today I went back and was helped - yes, the staff was knowledgeable and helpful; however, when I found out the price of the one shoe I was interested in and expressed I could not spend that money today the man that had helped me did a complete 180 degree personality change. He became very rude and dejected; even throwing the shoes back into the boxes, and proceeded to make me feel horrible for not being able to drop that kind of money at the drop of a hat. He even made a comment about, "I wish you'd been more honest up front." When we entered the store he was informed I was a newer runner who had never been fitted, and I even made the comment how coming in to go shoe shopping had not been on the agenda of errands for the day. No business should make a customer feel poorly for not being able to drop a substantial amount of money at that time. He never even offered to hold the shoes for a day, if that could have helped me. I was actually going to return and purchase the shoes until he behaved the way he did, attempted to make us feel bad, and threw a temper tantrum. Not only will this company never get ANY of my money, I will NEVER recommend them to ANYONE. read more
