I decided to take a detour off the boardwalk and the beaten path. I decided to go away from the crowds and go a street or two back. Sometimes this is where you will find the good places. This is where I found a great place to eat one time. I wanted to spy how much a new pair of flip flops would be and wasn't having much luck at other stores. I saw this place and figured might as well give it a shot. From the outside this place looks like another souvenir shop you might just walk by. I came inside and quickly became aware that this is more of a clothing store. I didn't look at all the clothing I just found the wall that had all the flip flops. I was a bit distracted while in here and started to only notice the pricing. A bit steep and I could definitely find them elsewhere for a better price. As far as customer service, I can't speak on that. I was not approached by a single employee while in here. Came in and left without interacting with anyone. read more

Rude, rude, and rude. We've come here before and never seen the place like this before. Not sure if new management or staff but it's pretty bad. Upon entering the store an elderly couple was exiting and said "I don't think anyone is working in there". We were in the store browsing flip flops for 10 minutes and only saw a group of 4 people in the corner chatting. Upon leaving one of the 4 people walked behind the counter so I assume they work there. They never acknowledged us on the way in or out or anything, it was quite strange. I wonder if the store was being robbed? Merchandise was not organized either, otherwise would have given 2 stars but since you can't find anything or check out if you want to pay or buy something, I gave 1 star. read more

Hello Tim H, you've assumed incorrectly. The sunglasses I purchased we're brand-new never even touched with the receipt still the bag with the original sticker and original tag still attached. I wasn't asking for a refund I simply wanted to exchange them for the tortoise color. This was less than 24 hours after I purchased them. They were sooo brand new when I pleaded with the clerk about this. The fact that you now say that I could've indeed received a store credit or exchange just adds insult to injury. Because the two women I attempted to exchange them with we're unaware of this policy or simply didn't care. They we're having none of it and just immediately said there's no way I could exchange them. The cherry on top is them telling me that's their policy for 33 years. I have been going to the Edge since I was a teenager! Even though I moved out of the area, whenever I visit, I always make sure to stop in. Their shoe and t-shirt collections are my favorite. :) read more

Always has unique styles and options different from what you find everywhere else. Such a large sunglass collection! Employee was super knowledgeable and patient with my picky husband and helped him find the perfect pair. Our kids love the gumball machine at the front of the store. Always try to get a different flavor. read more

I've been shopping here since my late teens, and am happy to see they've weathered the Covid storm and are still open for business. I know it's been terribly hard for small businesses to stay afloat. I wanted to get some loose maternity dresses but instead ended up getting Adelaide polarized sunglasses. The flies kept us off the beach most days this year sadly. But the polarized glasses are good for my aging eyes. The Edge still had a great selection of mens and womens apparel and shoes as well as accessories. My husband got a nice pair of Sanuk HI bro lite shoes. Total was $ 110 for sunglasses and shoes. read more

Unique shop with name brand sunglasses, clothing, sandals, bags, etc. they have more budget friendly sunglasses too, but my real favorite is the Edge tshirts & hats! Let me preface this by saying yes, a 5 star rating yet we did not make a purchase. How so? Easy. Kevin's customer service was ON POINT. My husband went in here to look for something (unknown to me..I was just following) and my 7yr old daughter decided she wanted to check out necklaces so I also, followed. She wanted one that was really short..found a pink shell one but could only find an 8in once..needed a 6in one. Kevin was AwEsOmE. He took such care with her. He checked the bag with all the necklaces..literally ALL of them. He placed a few of them on her neck to check length but none were right. She was so upset she began to cry, as she had her heart set on a necklace. Then she decided to settle. And I said "no..you're only buying to buy..you're not buying because you love it." Kevin agreed. He said he knew that feeling and he didn't like when others felt that way. He then suggested other places for us to try (sadly we had zero luck there as well, but all is not lost as we will keep on the search) and then to try and get her to smile again let her choose a sticker! I suggested orange because she loves orange, but she surprised me by choosing blue...not only did he give her the blue one but also the orange "just in case". Kevin is a GEM. Whaaat, no reviews for The Edge? Unbelievable, this place is absolutely a must-visit for every trip to Rehoboth! And I don't mean me, because I literally cannot go back to visit my hometown without stopping by to check out the merchandise, or say hi to the awesome owner, Tim, who used to let me run around the store when I was a little kid and bored at my dad's restaurant next door. I mean that this place has always attracted a huge crowd of people, all types of people and it's definitely a store you have to check out when you come to the beach. I love the selection of apparel and accessories, and the whole vibe is really awesome. I mean, the counter is a red Mercedes Benz. Don't act like you're not intrigued. All of the products are made for the beachy, surfer type. Whenever I walk in, I have the urge to buy some Vans or Airwalks, and then go buy some surfing lessons.The prices are not cheap, but not much in Rehoboth is these days, and it's not overpriced for what it is. More that they just only have stuff that's good quality. read more
