I went in there as a first time patient and this was at the beginning of the pandemic. I am a Black woman and because of that, I take very seriously the medical care in which I receive, especially by non-POCs. That being said, I was already going in to see her for a nerve racking reason (a miscarriage) so I was hoping this doctor would be a good match. However, it was awful from start to finish. Her manner was icy friendly meaning she didn't seem particularly interested in dealing with me and acted like she was there cause she was obligated to be. My husband was with me, so I have a witness to this experience. The Dr did the ultrasound and said "yeah (the sac) is not growing. You're miscarrying"...and then without taking a breath she proceeded to ask me "So how come you waited so long to try to have another baby?" Because I was over 35, and had a two year old at the time, she thought that THIS was somehow the best time to ask me why I waited so long to try for another child. And then as I was leaving, she said "I would give you a hug but ya know" referring to the pandemic limitations (in which she actually seemed a bit relieved to not have to fake like she cared with a hug). The gaul to think I would really want a hug from someone who was so cavalier about my feelings? That was almost 6 years ago and I have never and will never recommend this Dr or return to her care. read more

ok I see a lot of mixed reviews ....first her staff is very over worked because she is such a competent doctor she is by your side she takes time to answer questions for every patient. she is also very popular so her appointment schedule will reflect that . she tries to get to everyone as soon as possible. She doesn't leave the room after five seconds with no interaction she is very there in the appointment with you also while you give birth. she saved my life during a difficult birth . she was a friend when I needed one . she is very hands on. so remember that when the wait time takes a little longer than normal or she has a longer appointment schedule . If I could give the doctor a zero I would. I saw Dr. Reiche for the first time last year because my doctor closed her practice. I liked her, I thought she was very thorough and she answered all my questions. Last month I went for my mammogram that she had ordered and they saw something that required further testing. She never called me to let me know about this. I called her office to get the results after receiving a letter from the imaging center and was told that they would call me right back with my results. I never got that call back! If I had known, I could have gotten my appointment sooner for the additional testing instead of waiting several weeks. Luckily the 2nd mammogram and ultrasound didn't' find anything. That was so unprofessional of her as my doctor to not let me know about my results, especially since there was a problem. Dr reich is the most thorough dr I have gone to in my 87 years! I have gone to her many years and she goes over your body like a fine tooth comb every inch of it! Even answers the phone at night for a yeast infection! A kind wonderful patient dr. Sometimes the wait is a little long but that's because she takes her time with patients. I have been dealing with infertility and Dr. Reiche recommended I have a procedure done at an imaging center in Redondo Beach. I had it done and the center let me know that my doctor (Dr Reiche) would call with the results within 24 hours. It has now been a month and a half with no call from Dr Reiche or her office. I called the office several times and was always rudely told that the doctor would get back to me "whenever she had time". Finally, after calling probably 10 times in 3 weeks I was told the doctor did call me and that everything was normal. I said I received no such call from the doctor. The receptionist confirmed that the doctor called a wrong number but that "everything was normal" (i.e. I didn't need to speak with the doctor). I said I needed to hear a full report from the doctor. Still another 3 weeks later and no word. Dealing with infertility is stressful and time sensitive, not to mention expensive. When Dealing with Dr. Reiche directly she was kind and made me feel at ease but her front desk staff is completely rude and incompetent and the operation they run is unethical. The last time I was in office the front desk staff also asked me private embarrassing questions in the lobby and openly passed judgement on my responses. Dr. Reiche delivered my daughter. The whole birthing process was like a yoga class instructed by Dr. Reiche. As a nurse Practitioner, I am type A personality and wanted to know everything at all times, Dr. Reiche knew exactly how to calm my nerves with knowledge, experience and a smile. Her team of medical assistants were very kind. She is without a doubt the reason why I had such an amazing birth that I will always remember. This happened eight years ago and should have written then, but came across her name just now and decided I had to write. I went to Dr. Reiche with two complaints. One was diagnosed and taken care of. The other complaint was pain and pressure in lower abdomen. She didn't seem concerned and said I wasn't due for an internal for a couple of months and walked out. About two weeks later I ended up in the emergency room where they discovered I had a mass in my uterus and went in for surgery that night. Turns out I had cyst on my ovary that was wrapped around a fallopian tube that turned out to be cancerous. I guess I should be thankful to Dr. Reiche for ignoring my symptoms because if the pain hadn't gotten worse I may not have discovered the cancer until it was two late. read more

Dr. Reiche saw me through my pregnancy and delivery of my daughter 7 months ago. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and she was a big part of that. She had a very relaxed easy, way about her and most importantly knew her stuff. I felt comfortable with her from the get go and she was very patient with my all my stupid questions. She was my ob for my son who is now almost 14 months old...and was amazing. The whole process from start to finish was very healing. My first son's pregnancy and birth was traumatic to say the least. She had the kind of humor, bluntness and professionalism that was very calming. She worked wonders in the delivery room. I had a vacuum extraction on my first and a full episiotomy. With her...I had nothing. Barely one stitch. My husband and I have been talking about moving out of la and we're talking about the things we'd miss...and even though I haven't seen her in a year...I'd be heartbroken to have another kid without her. I am so thankful for Dr. Reiche and her amazing staff! They really made the experience of pregnancy and becoming a mother really stress free and seamless. The staff is very efficient and always call immediately with test results and call to remind you the day before your appointments! They're friendly and so supportive during such a delicate time! Dr. Reiche is a very direct and funny person who really listens to your concerns and will put you at ease during your pregnancy. She doesn't push for unnecessary tests and has a very natural approach to delivery! My daughter was born via an unplanned c section and I never had a moment of worry because I knew I was in good hands. so my wife went to this doctor because of a recommendation from a friend and based on her good review from YELP. She miscarried her first baby and we had to do a surgery with this doctor. So the doctor asked my wife to do a bunch of test and "nothing" was noticed from a doctor. So we thought we were OK. We kept asking her to do more test on her to find out why she always is late on her period and other doctors told my wife that she has a "tumor" on her brain which can cause the pregnancy problem. but Andrea did not want to approve for that and she kept saying she was fine. After the surgery we tried to have baby again but no success. So we tried to get the lab results that we did with Andrea and asked some doctors to look at it and they saw something not normal to her from the result. so we decided to go to different doctor to see what is going on with us. and we found out that my wife has PCOS (which caused women not easy to get pregnant). If we could have been told earlier by this doctor Andrea, we could have saved a lot of time and money. Time is the precious thing we don't want to lose since day 1 and now we found out that we have to wait for another 6 months to be able to have a baby. That pissed me off. If you are a professional doctor and you should know how emotional for us when we come to you about our child, you should look at the result carefully and tell us ASAP. This doctor only needs your money, she does not care much about her patient. and she also will let you wait 1-2 hours even though you have an appointment with her. she will delay it as much as she wants because she knows that you need her anyway. DARRRN YOU Andrea, now we have to lose time because you did not want to read the lab result carefully or not even read the lab result. You should be ashamed of yourself! Wow! Dr. Reiche is such a breath of fresh air and more! After switching doctors 4 times now I have finally found a diamond in the rough! She took all the time I could possibly need to answer all my questions (without dodging, being dishonest or making me feel dumb, which were my previous experiences). She was very warm and genuine and even went out of her way to give helpful suggestions, recommendations and advise. Also was very thorough about getting all my medical information and details about previous pregnancy and current. I just felt like in my first appointment with her, she covered more than I have in the past 32 weeks of my OB visits with the other three failed OB's. Dr Reiche herself is great, but the office isn't run well. Allow at least an hour and a half for a Pap -- I wait at least 45 minutes in the exam room every time just for the doctor to show up, after spending a good 15-30 minutes in the waiting room. I haven't bothered to find a new doctor because I only have to put up with it once a year, but I really think she would benefit from hiring a PA or NP to help out. read more

Dr Andrea Reiche is a wonderful doctor. Not only does she know what she is doing but can answer any question that you have. I have read reviews about the girls at the front and I have to disagree. They are not rude, or wear too much makeup. She makes you feel comfortable as well as the staff there. Both girls all so know what they are doing and can answer question which helps the doctor out. The only issue I have is the wait time, I just don't understand what's the point of having a scheduled appt if you wait anyway at least 40mins to see the nurse then another 15-20min to see the doctor, they just need to better manage their scheduling..Other than this, I'd recommend her. read more

Dr Reiche is amazing. She delivered both of my daughters and I wouldnt have had it any other way!. I've been going to her since I was 15 years old. She is the only dr I trust to bring my beautiful babies into this world. with my first baby my insurance covered it but the time I had my second one Reiche didnt except my insurance (which is totaly fine) I wouldnt let anyone else even touch me during my pregnancy so I paid cash and her fee was sooooo reasonable I had no issue and her payment plan worked for me 100%. She is the best dr I have ever had. She genuinely and sincerly cared about me and my pregnancy she was so amazing and listened to everything I wanted and needed. After I gave birth to both of my daughters Dr reiche got a cloth wet it and cleaned my face off and didnt leave me until my babys latched onto me. she cleaned up my baby and made sure they were healthy! Right when I was about to give birth to my 2nd baby she checked me and said " Dont laugh of she'll fall out!" she of course made me laugh with that one. After I had my girls Reiche always came to see me that same evening and sat and talk to me and my husband about basically life. Shes amazing. After having my 2nd baby I went threw postpartum depression and didnt know what to do so I called Reiche and she told me to go into the office and we sat and talked for about an hour and she really helped me. Now about the girls at the office! my gaaaawd Ana and Janet are the best. They are sooo nice and funny! they made my visits fun lol. I've been going to Doctor Andrea Reiche since I was in my early 20's, in my 30's she successfully delivered both my children. We moved to Seattle for a few years and I could not find an OBGYN as pragmatic, thoughtful, caring and knowledgeable as her. Now that we are back in Los Angeles area, I will happily trek all the way to the valley to see her. She is a wealth of information and knowledge about most current treatments and studies, she is caring and thoughtful without being pedantic. Being in her care does not feel rushed, she spends as much time with you as you need. I trust her with my care 100%. When I was having my kids, I thought about having a birth plan but after speaking to Dr. Reiche, I realized that I trust her and she has my best interests at heart. Dr. Reiche is very well known and is a veteran at Valley Pres and surrounding practices, all the nurses and doctors go to her to deliver their babies. read more

I am very picky when it comes to gynos- I absolutely love Dr. Reiche and the girls in the front! I have been going to Dr. Reiche for years and absolutely plan on her being the one to deliver my children one day. I have referred quite a few of my friends and co workers to see her, because she is helpful, patient and professional. She takes time to talk to you in the room if you have questions or concerns, without running out the door the minute she finishes her exam. Yes, there is sometimes quite a wait, and she is sometimes behind schedule. However, that doesn't bother me- when she is with me, she is present and makes me feel comfortable, and I never feel rushed. If I ever have questions in between appointments, I call the front staff and they are quick and responsive in asking Dr. Reiche and getting back to me with an answer. read more

The doctor and her two nurses are amazing. I've been a patient for ten years and they always take care of me. Before my first exam I met with her for a talk so she could explain everything and make me comfortable. Ten years later she did the same when I needed a biopsy for possible cancer. She is a very calm lady and makes things that seem scary not so bad. She really makes me relax and makes each visit as pleasant as possible. She also suspected my appendicitis several years ago and scheduled the surgery and worked with a surgeon. She was right! Hospitals pointed the finger in her department and she knew it was my appendix that almost burst. I definitely recommend this office. Just be prepared to wait. Sometimes there are emergencies and she has to run to the hospital next door to deliver newborns. It's part of the job, it's not her fault and a lot of patients don't get that and get angry and leave. Make sure you allow lots of time after the scheduled appointment because she can run late. read more

It's so rare these days to find a doctor who truly cares about her patients. I was lucky enough to have dr.Reiche as my ob/gyn for our first daughter. To say my pregnancy was complicated would be an understatement, however Dr.Reiche and her staff(Ana and Jeanette) always calmed my nerves and made me feel at ease. We delivered just 11 days ago and my husband and I are still in awe of the birth experience it was above and beyond our expectations. So intimate and we really felt like we brought our daughter into this world surrounded by love. I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr.Reiche and her staff. LOVE THEM! read more

Dr. Reiche is a very nice, wonderful doctor, spent a good amount of time with me and made me feel comfortable. However. her staff/girls in the front are what I have to complain about. Very unprofessional and rude. I had an appointment and needed to have blood drawn, the woman who drew my blood had very long acrylic nails. From my understanding, its recommended by the CDC to not wear artificial nails because they harbor bacteria. What concerned me the most is she did not wash her hands before or wear gloves while drawing my blood. After she was done, she did not wrap or put a band aid where she took blood. I had to ask for a band aid to keep from bleeding on my clothes. Also, Good luck trying to get any prescriptions filled. The girls in the front do not care about you or what your problem may be, they have terrible attitudes and are unwilling to help you. I'm a very friendly understanding person, I have never felt so poorly treated by a doctor's office, especially while seeing an OBGYN. I'm truly applaud and although I would love to go back and see Dr. Reiche, I will not due to her staff. read more
