He kept saying how easy this closing was since it was a cash sale. So easy, he never gave her the tax coupon to pay the income tax installment due on the condo. Yet when I asked him about it since she got a late notice he claimed he handed them to her at closing. 3 family members attended the closing and none of us recall him going over the tax coupons with my mom nor did he hand us the tax coupons. My elderly mom even commented that she had never attended a closing (this was her 8th) where so little was explained or discussed by HER lawyer. Very arrogant lawyer that would benefit from just owning up to an error for the sake of being a good human being.

I worked solely with Elise Yu and Thomas. I am very grateful to have found them. After Thomas reviewed my evidence and clearly saw I was not in the wrong he called the attorney immediately and spoke to him. Let me just say that Thomas put the opposing attorney in his place (in a good way). He's very knowledgable, kind and knows what he is doing. Since the other side really has no case against me, I've been in contact with Elise the most as we are just playing the "waiting game" until they come back with a counter offer or something (I am not a lawyer, so I don't know all this legal jargon.). On top of being super responsive with all my questions, Elise has also helped me with a few other things as a courtesy which speaks volumes to her work ethic and service. No matter what time I have e-mailed her, she always responds right away in the morning. She is very kind, compassionate and really wants to help. Now, I have not had to go to court and won't have to, so I can't speak on that. What was done was mostly communication, back and forth talks about settlements and all the other legal stuff/laws lawyers need to do and know.
