SAVE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! They accepted my case, were incredibly unhelpful and did nothing for months before sending me an email stating they decided they aren't going to take the case and recommend I try a firm in another state with zero explanation as to why I should do that. If my case wasn't something they could work, they could have told me that months prior and given me a chance to work with someone else. Now I have to start at square one with a case that's months behind. A little communication about what's happening would have been nice. An explanation as to why they wasted so much of my time would have been even better. They did neither. Shame on this firm and their incredibly poor customer service. I have nothing but good things to say about this law firm. As per other reviews, I can't comment as I have never worked with the other mentioned attorneys. I worked solely with Elise Yu and Thomas. I am very grateful to have found them. After Thomas reviewed my evidence and clearly saw I was not in the wrong he called the attorney immediately and spoke to him. Let me just say that Thomas put the opposing attorney in his place (in a good way). He's very knowledgable, kind and knows what he is doing. Since the other side really has no case against me, I've been in contact with Elise the most as we are just playing the "waiting game" until they come back with a counter offer or something (I am not a lawyer, so I don't know all this legal jargon.). On top of being super responsive with all my questions, Elise has also helped me with a few other things as a courtesy which speaks volumes to her work ethic and service. No matter what time I have e-mailed her, she always responds right away in the morning. She is very kind, compassionate and really wants to help. Now, I have not had to go to court and won't have to, so I can't speak on that. What was done was mostly communication, back and forth talks about settlements and all the other legal stuff/laws lawyers need to do and know. I would recommend this law firm to anyone in a heart beat (in fact, I already have!). Especially Thomas and Elise. Those two together are great! I've left many reviews before, but this one is one of the few I felt the most compelled to write as dealing with the law is totally different than dealing with a restaurants service. Mike Haeberle didn't follow the client's instructions and didn't honor the budget plan he confirmed in 2018. Tom Patterson rejected to provide an explanation of going over budget issues due to he could not charge the time of explanations. Tracy Rizzo didn't issue and send correct invoices to correct parties. Including David Sanders, Stephanie Simpson who represented clients to the court without notifying clients the court date in advance. They failed to send a copy of the court order to clients after the court date. read more

I can not recommend this firm highly enough. I was entangled in a drawn-out legal battle with a partner (whom I was also in the midst of a divorcing) who suddenly closed a joint business checking account and began funneling money in to a separate account that she would give me no access to. I was locked out of my out building and shut out of my own business. Things were looking grim. It was a complicated case (actually multiple cases) that involved divorce, several pieces of real estate, two LLCs, and a family loan that my father had made to us. I went through two attorneys and wasted two years of my life before finding Patterson Law Firm, and they immediately understood the big picture and formulated a strategy to resolve each case. Any lawyer can file motions and shuffle paperwork, but if they don't know how to properly apply the law to your case and take the time to understand what you're really trying to accomplish, then all you're doing is wasting money. Patterson is worth every penny. We worked with Tom Patterson, Michael Haeberle, and Stephanie Simpson-Mathless. They were all fantastic. If you find yourself in a complicated business matter, just call them. Jeff Katz purports to really care, however when he realizes he has over-promised and has can't refute the countless mistakes and miscommunication made (dare I say lies...yes the firm lied to me about who took the deposition of a key witness and that it was even taken and there is verified proof), he becomes defensive, vile and in the end, you will only end up more injured by Katz and his Team and his network of experts. Katz is a fraud, a fast talker and I would caution anyone considering hiring him. His threats against his clients are demonstrative of someone who represents for his own ego and not the cause, cause or what is right. read more

Whatever you do, do not remotely consider giving this firm your money. Jeff Katz was hired by me and I just found out from another Attorney that he committed malpractice. The firm will take your money and not do a single thing for you but will lie to you. Jeff Katz missed every single procedural deadline and had my cases thrown out of court. I wasn't informed about anything that was happening even when I asked what was going on with my cases, I was told that everything was fine and the cases would settle. Do not go to this law firm. I have had a really bad experience with this company who I am sure put up none of the real reviews from clients. They use people with no Law experience to take all the information from you then they get a barrister in a few days before to go into court with you. This person doesn't speak to you before court just on the day. The one I had hadn't read any of my notes and when I went through everything with him he made notes on his blank note pad. He was surprised by everything I said and didn't even know what area I lived in which was relevant to my defence. All he did was ask me 3 questions and the judge did the rest. Anyone could have done what he did. When the judge dismissed things said he didn't fight it at all he literally just accepted it. Any person could have been in there with me and the same result would have happened. If I hadn't had an understanding judge I wouldn't have had a licence. I made a complaint and obviously they didn't accept it. Do not use these people they are a waste of time. You are not having a professional! This is the important bit! They hire a barrister in its not one of their own. You have no idea who your working with until a short time before! They are not at all worth it. Either pay a solicitor directly or use one of the much cheaper ones because you wouldn't get any better with Patterson Law. You will be out of pocket! I'm disgusted and shocked they are being used at all. read more
