The door was pretty straight forward and was done in about a day. Very pleased with the replacement and quality of work. (Jay did a great job) The beadboard was a big job. The peak of the room is over 20' up and presented a real challenge as there are some lowered beams in the way that make scaffolding difficult. It took about 3 days to get it done but the results are beautiful. The drywall was screwed up on the wall, but not even taped from about 10 years ago. (We bought an unfinished repo) I figured that it would have to be ripped out and replaced, but Jason thought he could save us a lot of money by taping and sanding, and it came out really good. You'd never know that it was old crumbling drywall the way it looks now. We were really impressed. The best part of the experience was after they were done Jason came back to do a punch list of the work and see if we were satisfied. There were a few relatively minor issues like you could see the nail holes in the beadboard and they had run out of window casing and left one window half finished. All the issues we had were addressed to my wife's satisfaction, (not always so easy to please her) and overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Jason is a good guy who you can tell really cares about his work and the customers satisfaction.

They went over and beyond responsibility and made sure the project was completed as well as spillover projects that other contractors wouldn't do or mention. Millerz Construction felt like a back in the day crew that was interested in really and truly providing great customer service. I felt comfortable with staff and will call them again for future projects. I totally recommend Millerz Construction to others in need of projects that they can't do but want done in a professional and efficient manner. Finally, I have several upcoming projects and will use Millerz Construction as a go to crew!

After my first job with Mike I was super happy with him. However, I used him again and this time I…read morewas so displeased. It was not funny. We hired Mike to remove a bar and to fix the ceiling after a leak. He charged us $150 to remove the bar. He then told us that he would charge us $300 to put the bar back in place and fix the ceiling. We had told them at that time that we would be using wall paneling to repair the ceiling. We had wall paneling on the ceiling at that time in another spot. When it came time to do the repair Mike showed up on the first day but lost his keys in his car and spent the entire day trying to get his keys out of the car rather than calling a service to do it for him. So he blew the entire day. On Wednesday I don't know what time he showed up because I had an appointment but when I got home at noon he promptly left and didn't show back up and until late afternoon and only stayed for an hour. After which he had a allowed argument with his wife over speakerphone about missing Valentine's Day dinner. He then left my house and returned late afternoon the next day after I made several calls to him trying to figure out where he was after. He stated he would be there the next morning. Very little communication. This type of behavior went on for days. When the job was complete, Mike tried to charge us over $1,600 for putting the bar back in and repairing the ceiling. I might add that the ceiling portion was 3x 20 ft Wall paneling and then he had to put the bar back in spot which was in two pieces. At this point he had severely damaged many pieces of the bar and the assembly around it. He had also left pencil marks on the ceiling which for some reason he thought was acceptable. Mike is not a licensed contractor but actually a handyman. This whole ordeal spent over a course of 4 days. Something that should probably have taken place in one day. At the end my husband and I ended up completing the job ourselves because Mike didn't show up on the final day except to pick up his tools when I told him we finished the job ourselves. For the pictures you see below, he actually wanted $848. After completing the job he then told me that his price was $125 an hour and said that he had worked over 15 hours which he can't even account for because he was so spotty in showing up and not showing up and he would come and go and take off for his wife, his children or to go shopping or to eat or who knows what or are even for other clients in the middle of working for me. To me, this now meant he was changing the original price that he had given me from $300 to something more. I do not recommend this company or this person to anyone and I've included pictures of his shoddy work. I should also mention that Mike wanted to decide what materials to use in my house and when I said no he was very upset. I had to go down and explain to him that he does not get to decide what materials are used in other people's house. I told him I was using wall panels and a specific one and he said he wanted to use a certain type of product and spray paint it. When I said no he was very upset and said that his idea was a good idea and that the people buying my house would have liked his idea. I am an interior designer and I'm very good at what I do. My house sold in one week in this very bad market. Obviously I know what I'm doing. I'm also going to include a letter that Mike sent me that was extremely rude regarding his displeasure about using the materials he wanted.

We bought cabinets through them and they only delivered less than half of them. They stopped the project half way through and now are refusing to answer any phone calls from me. I will get a text claiming he will call, but he never does. The project was stopped right in the middle of it making the house unlivable, then I had to find lodging for my family while I made it somewhat livable. The cost is very expensive especially considering they don't do all the work or give all the deliverables. He lied about how long the project would take, even if they had worked, the time estimate would have been way off. At beginning of the project, when they did show up, they would work from about 12:30 - 4:30. Owner would continually lie and state he would be there first thing in the morning. The earliest they did show up was around 11 on the first day. I was given no reason as to why they stopped working, or why he couldn't even answer the phone. I gave him many opportunities to just let the project move forward, but he couldn't be bothered to even answer his phone. Don't use this company unless your into fraud, not getting what you paid for, and want the hassle of having to work with an attorney.
