Is there a zero star ??? I went there on July 16 2024 and met Brandon. .Went over everything, my needs ,experience, expectations and timeline. I then never heard from him. When I called 3 weeks later to touch base I didn't talk to Brandon and.never called me back . Then I started getting jobs offers for minimum wage. The salary was not near on what we discussed. Got a job on my own for $60K. Then I needed their services again in Sept 2025. Spoke to Brianna explained what happened in the past and I never heard from her. I hear the advertisements on PLR and laugh and wondering how they could be a successfull business for 30 years. I would try other reputable agencies for your job search. I was a past employee here. Six months ago before I got hired they fired the guy I took over. One day he came back screaming at my two managers. About six months later (which is when I stop working under Reitman's pay and go for a higher pay at Connecticut Building Services) Another guy from Reitman came by when I was working who showed up a day early for his job interview for my position. I hit a bump in the road. In 3 years, I had to start over twice. Each job felt like a dead end. I went from working 12 years for a company that laid me off and in desperation, went for the 1st employer that called back. It was less money and much further away. I added more stress to my life. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise when I lost that position. I was completely out of my element. Then one day, I came across a position on indeed.com. It was more challenging than I was used to but I figured "What the heck. What can it hurt." I met with Brandon and I just had a gut feeling something in my life was going to change. For so long people held me back, but Brandon and Reitman saw something in me that was hidden. They found me a permanent position that is challenging and pays more than any other job I ever had. I was first contacted sometime in mid August by Peter Aloi. I don't know how exactly my information came to him, but I assume it was from a job search website where my resume is posted. Anyway, he wanted to set up a meeting with me to go over my portfolio and such. Seemed somewhat strange to me at first as I've worked with a handful of different recruitment companies and no one else had me attend a meeting. Anyways the only direct route to Branford from where I live goes through New Haven and onto I-95. At first I thought this would be a problem, but when I went to meet with Peter I was able to make pretty good time, about a half hour if I remember correctly. So I get to Reitman Personnel to meet with Peter. I believe I got there a few minutes early, so I sit and wait. Then finally, around ten minutes after the meeting was supposed to start, I sit down with Peter. In talking with him I got a slight discomfort; he seemed somewhat condescending to me. He seemed to care more about his reputation as a recruiter than my satisfaction as a client, telling me to dress as nice as I can once an interview is scheduled. I've gotten this routine from other recruiters before (minus the whiff of condescending I smelled) so I didn't think anything of it at the time. By the end of the meeting he basically tells me he's going to send my paper work off to a company and talk to them about setting up an interview with me. He tells me he'll get back to me as I'm leaving. Then, I hear nothing from Peter or Reitman Personnel for about three weeks. I hear nothing for so long that I figure I didn't get an interview. I had started to move on with my job search. Then on August 28th he calls me while I'm busy and leaves a voicemail saying that he was going to talk with the company about an interview soon. Okay, weeks without any form of contact and now I'm about to have an interview. This probably wouldn't bother most people, but it just stuck out to me. In retrospect I probably should have given Reitman a call in the weeks following the meeting with Peter, but I've been conditioned that no call back equals the worst case scenario in my search for full time employment. About another week passes and Peter calls me trying to set up the best time for an interview. He tells me the only good day to do it would be Wednesdays. I work til 3:00 every Wednesday. So we end up setting the interview for 4:15 the following week. The company that I was interviewing for was a few minutes away from Reitman so I figured it would take about the same amount of time to get there and I was okay with this. When Wednesday (the day I'm writing this) came I barely had enough time to go home and get changed. When I left my house it was about 3:20 and my GPS says it'll take almost an hour to get there (this was at the same time of day as my meeting with Peter). So I left in somewhat of a hurry. As I'm on my way there I get caught up in traffic in such a way that I wouldn't be able to make it to the interview. I couldn't find the phone numbers of the people I'd be meeting with so I called Peter to tell him what's going on. I tell Peter my situation. I also express concern that I wasn't sure if I'd want to make this commute every day with the possibility of traffic being this bad. He tells me I'm not giving him any answers. So I tell him I am no longer interested in this job. He tells me, and I quote, "you're making us both look like asses" and "you're not serious about full time work"(I've been looking for full time work for eight months now, but apparently I'm not serious about it) saying all of this in a very condescending way. I came very close to calling him a fish-fingering cock-mongler. From what happened on this phone call I can certainly tell that Peter Aloi cares more about his own image and reputation as a recruiter than he does about his clients satisfaction and comfort in a position. In conclusion, if you don't want to be belittled and insulted for having changed your mind (and if you don't aspire to associate with fish-fingering cock monglers), steer clear of Peter Aloi and Reitman Personnel. read more

Peter Aloi can be condescending I feel unnecessarily, you exist in this world as a product for him to sell, and he does not care or have any interest in you a slither beyond that. If you forget his name when you walk in the door to meet, you would best grovel before his knees and beg him for forgiveness before he asks you to leave. He doesn't care if you're busy 50 hrs a week already, you better remember him let me tell you. The interview process is about him selling you as a product for his client, and less so about what you want and more so about how you fit to client's needs.
