Looking at FB pics and the info provided we drove long way to visit. Info was they open at 8 AM. We got there at 7:50 and by 830 there were still only about a 1/4 of booths open. Someone had mentioned the stones in the driveways. They ARE difficult to walk on within the market area. The only other issue was the number of vehicles driving through the market area when open. There isn't enough room for cars AND walkers. Not interested in a further visit. I'd sure would have liked to see the variety and really wanted some wood planters. Oh well. This flea market is amazing. It is massive with so many sellers of pretty much anything you could anticipate. There is produce, bulk candies, confections, a boot store, a shoe store, so many clothing and jewelry options in addition to vintage and handmade items. There are a lot of seasonal vendors there as well as new comers regularly. Some massive shops and some with a table and canopy. The atmosphere is always friendly people, both sellers and shoppers. Everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. We just finished our second weekend of selling, going back for the 3 day weekend for 4th of July and while I'm exhausted I am excited. Camping is on your site for the most part/ in your vehicle and there are air conditioned restrooms open 24h. Being able to come on Friday without extra charge is valuable if you are not seasonal, giving extra time to be organized without pressing yourself so much in the morning. Cathy's Kitchen has great coffee and breakfast, I've not had their lunch and they are not open for dinner. Everyone in there is so friendly. Free parking and admission make this a great value and must stop for shoppers and no one should be disappointed in doing so. Many people bring their dogs, of all sizes and breeds, some in strollers. They also have puppies for sale/ to adopt, though I'm not the biggest fan of that especially in the heat. There's a country market across the street (not affiliated) with a nice variety of offerings to accommodate your stay as well. Put Reits on your list if you haven't been yet, just bring your sunbrella, sunscreen and water for you and your pet if you bring them. Hope to see you there! read more

Your first visit and last visit of the year are with the 5 stars. Any other visits in the same summer are only 2 stars. The reason for only 2 visits a summer is because the same vendors are there every weekend selling the same stuff, week after week and month after month. Every year they put down rocks to walk on thru the flea market and it is so not safe and bumpy and not made for wheelchairs or strollers. My husband uses a wglheelchair for distances like this and he can't enjoy it due to the rocks and hurts his back with the up and down over all the rocks, they need to make things more wheelchair accessible read more

The best way I can think of to describe Reits is "a modern-day treasure hunt". I love coming out here to just simply dig around and see what I manage to unearth out of the piles of unwanted stuff people bring on out here. It's absolutely amazing to see what you'll be able to find with just some invested time and effort- the more time you take to really dig, the better luck you'll have around here. We stopped out here today to do some digging, and S, my niece, and I all feel like we made out like bandits- my niece got a mostly-there playset for her dolls for a quarter of the price it would have cost for a new one. S found some plant sellers with some wonderful flowers she wants to bring my mother down to go through to see about getting some to plant around home- and as for me? A bag of out-of-print fantasy novels that just found a nice home in my collection. If you fancy a bite to eat or drink, there are several snack stands that sell sodas, chips, hot dogs and the like- and there are several soda machines around the rest areas near said snack bars, complete with picnic tables to get your nom on or just to take a load off for a bit- but if you need something more substantial, there's a restaurant on-site. Cathy's Kitchen is open as long as the flea market is, and it's a nice little place to go grab a sandwich or a sundae at, depending on what you feel like! While the market is open from mid-April to mid-to-late September (depending on how long the weather holds), you'll have the best luck finding a large number of stalls after Memorial Day, until the weekend before Labor Day or so. I do have a few suggestions to make your visit a bit more enjoyable: 1) Wear comfortable and durable shoes and clothes. The market is in a large field, and you're going to be walking through a lot of dirt, dust and grass- and you'll be doing a lot of walking. 2) Bring cash, preferably large and small bills. There might be an ATM onsite, but I haven't seen it, and while Cathy's Kitchen may take plastic, most of the stalls are cash only. 3) Come prepped to transport your purchases- that ladder you bought might not seem like a good investment if you've got to carry the stupid thing around with you all day. 4) Watch the weather reports! This is an open-air market- if the weather calls for rain, you might want to find alternate plans- or if it's going to be hot, remember to dress for it! If you feel like selling, that's easy- each space is available for a low daily fee and gets you seller access and one car- but you have to provide tables, chairs, shade, etc. This place is a wonderful little surprise, and let's face it- you can get in a nice little hike while you go and see what bargains you can scare up! Wether you're local or from out of town, it's always worth the time to stop and dig this place! read more

I'm not totally a fan of flea markets, but this was definitely different from the norm! I mean there were a lot of similarities to other flea markets- new items of cheap quality like clothing, lotions, etc etc. I was more interested in people who were set up selling used items. They even sell puppies, turkeys, and other live animals to take home! That was a first. I spent $3 on a pair of shoes there which was fair, nothing else was appealing to me, but it was fun to look around, just to see what exists in the world. I would go again just for that reason. Parking is on site in dirt/grass, so don't wear your Sunday best! read more

Great place to shop. They have a nice mix of new and used items. I was able to find a new name brand receiver for my hitch at about 1/3 the cost. It's super clean and there are plenty of places to rest. If you're in Paw Paw take a couple of hours to look around. I came out money ahead. read more

I really like the going to the pulga because the ice cream by the entrance is fantastic. I also like this place because the sellers tell you they got it for a lot of money but they are selling it for less so they are losing money. I really like there bathrooms because they are very clean and they have charmin ultra soft toilet paper. I like this because it cleans my buttocks really well. They also have really cheap fidget spinners. I really like the clothes there because my good buddy Jesus Martinez said they are very comfortable. He also recommended the pepto bismol they sell because he often has explosive chorro. read more
