I don't do many reviews but I feel obligated to write this. If you don't like to read a longish review then just know, if you have curly hair, don't go there! I requested a dry curly cut. The stylist was VERY CONFIDENT which is why I didn't stop her. A curly cut is typically done by cutting one curl or a few curls at a time. That didn't happen here. Also a comb or brush should never be taken to curly hair. She ran a brush through the section of hair before she cut it. At that point, I should have run! Also, a layer of hair should never be cut closer to the top of the style. The hair will curl and totally disconnect from the rest of the hair. I have that now. I was in and out of her chair in ten minutes. She didn't charge me because it was so quick. Now I know why. It is always very nerve racking to visit a new stylist. And it is experiences like this that makes it that way. read more

If I could give 0 Stars I would this place is the absolute worst. I made an appointment over a month ago asking for a full highlight and haircut. I showed for my appointment and everybody seems nice but when I sat down she started doing a partial foil on my head I told her it was supposed to be a full highlight. She said that she didn't have time for a full highlight and I told her that's what it was supposed to be and then I asked her if anybody else could step into finish my head. she kept saying: no that there was no time, there was nobody else and she could only do a partial. so then I asked am I going to have to come back later and she said we will work something out. I also asked if I was going to have to pay twice. I was very angry at the situation but she was already putting foils on my head so I told her forget about the haircut - I didn't want to be there longer than I had to. while she put me in a chair for processing she took another client ( she could have taken that time to do the rest of my head). Basically it looked like she was double booking herself. After her other client she gave me a horrendous hair washing where she was basically scrubbing my scalp off. Then an awful blow-dry. I don't have very thick hair so it doesn't take long to dry- she kept the dryer on my hair longer than need be on high heat, basically trying to fry my hair. Finally it was time to pay. She told the receptionist $105. I was shocked! I told her I'm not paying that. Their price sheet (see picture) showed partial highlights at most $65. I told her I was not going to pay anything more than that- she said you want me to get a manager and I said yes. So the manager comes over and surprise surprise, it was the guy doing hair next to where I was getting my hair done so he heard the whole thing and knew the situation already. I told him I was not going to pay full highlights when she only did partial highlights. He then told me to calm down - I was not raising my voice or yelling or being frantic at all so it shocked me a little when he said that. He said I had to pay the full price and I said I'm not paying anything then. I walked out and he said we're going to be calling the cops for theft of service. I sat in my car and called the cops just to see if that was a real thing because I've never heard of that before. apparently it is a real thing and the cop told me she was on the other line with the salon and I need to go back in and pay - basically I was not the victim being wronged, I was a criminal according to her. So now I'm triple shocked at everything that's going on. I go back in- I pay while they're still on the phone with the cops to make sure I was paying. after my card cleared and after they hung up with the cops I told him I was going to write a review, that karma is a b**** and f*** them. he basically repeated back to me karma is a b**** and f*** you. if you're thinking about going to ReJuv salon I'd say reconsider. They steal your money and then make you feel like you're a criminal for refusing to let them rob you. granted, the highlights are not the worst that I've ever had but they're also not the best. But going to that salon is not worth the drama, the atmosphere, the negativity, the robbery, or the threat of law enforcement. Stay clear. read more

I appreciated their availability to fit me in with only calling a few days in advance but I by and large had a less than satisfactory experience. Don't get me wrong, my esthetician was so kind and professional, and the facility was very nice and clean, but I paid $95 - not including tip - for an acne facial they had as a special and did not get offered or provided electric extractions (just via the simple metal tool you can buy anywhere and I own), oxygen for healing acne spots, and I left with scrub granules all over my face and in my hair around my face. I have only had about two facials prior but still knew enough to know that was not worth $95 in Erie. I did appreciate the skincare selection for sale offered afterwards and the free sample for a moisturizer, so that was a plus, but I think for what they're offering it is not commensurate with the price. Panache offers an acne facial for $65 and probably provides electric extractions with it, which is pretty standard. I also had to wait 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, which they apologized for, but given the other faults it wasn't a worthwhile experience and I won't be returning unless they adjust this service. read more

I had a horrible experience at this salon. I called to ask what a keratin treatment was and I was told it would make my hair "poker straight with no body" so I scheduled the appointment because that's what I wanted. I got it done and my hair is still curly with lots of body after I paid $300 for the treatment. I went in and saw Kelsey and she looked at it and said there is a no refund policy and told me the manager David would be in the next day and someone would call me about getting a hair service or something done.
