Each of the massage therapists is certified to perform safe prenatal massages. They have an easy online booking system (which I appreciated). I showed up and everyone was masked (March 2022) which I was thankful for, being pregnant. They offered me a glass of water while I completed the waivers and were very friendly! (I was the first appointment of the day.) I went into the room and the therapist thoroughly explained how the whole massage would go and made sure she knew exactly what I wanted her to focus on. The table was extremely comfortable for a pregnant person :) special pillow/mat with holes to accommodate your growing body and the ability to lay on my stomach (which I've missed!) and there was no pressure anywhere on my body. Just laying on the table was worth the whole massage! Lol halfway through I rolled over and she replaced the belly mat with a large wedge, so I didn't have to lay flat. The only thing I'd suggest would be having white noise or meditation music and or candles/aroma therapy. It was very quiet, but that would've put it over the top with comfort. Seriously an amazing way to start my day and I can't wait to go back!

You've got a strong firm compassionate yoga family of solid professional yoga instructors. I highly respect each & every one of them. Each are spectacular in their whys to how marvelously well they DO teach yoga. Love love love how each location mirrors the other location to how well each instructor mirrors another instructor of last week teachings @THR. TY. This is what I've learned. THR IS a totally safe space to explore & practice yoga. Professionals are a norm. I don't feel pressured or anything bad but learning how to do yoga. Being party to a venue who shares the same values I live since forever, I know I'm at the right space to invest in myself to love more. What I mostest value about THR is the mere fact it's purely yoga. Each location has the exact same premise in directive as its sister location. Each instructor wants to teach, wants to help, wants to encompass the namaste of being the light to love wholly for another light to shine for or to in the greater good. Ty. I've not felt ANY bs at all. No drama. No toxic. I've never ever had an instructor who called me out in a class for needing to adjust myself (catch my bearings). Nor have I ever had any teacher @THR hit me on the back of my head bc I had my head too high, not aligned. I've not had any instructor(s) cause any toxic drama for me in my home(s), no THR students being used by a venue to create toxic bs. No attempts to mirror toxicity to my home (s) for a series of things to try to be rewritten in a bruised ego. That's now in my rear view. Ty God for having my back. Ty THR for being as such. I know that my fiancé won't be contacted for a date esp when he was not a client. I know my yoga teacher won't blame me when something too weird happens, unyoga related. These things WILL never happen at THR. It is my hope that God helps those who decided to use others for personal gain to stop. Maybe take a yoga class lead by fabulous yoga teachers teaching yoga @ THR. It's purely yoga at THR. May the light that shines in me blessed by God shines brighter to anyone who is in the dark now. May God place good people in your life for you to see your value for the whys you need to learn about yourself. Each of us is made for a purpose. Finding that purpose takes God's help. The HOT Room downtown Indy on NY Street helped me find the woman I had forgotten about long ago. Me. I still love others. Even tho life punches me, God is what I fear the most. I'm a little more discerning these days by the actions taken by a fragile ego by others. THR has afforded me knowledge to learn how to trust my intuition & see what serves me for a better way to live without hate but to love more.

After class, they are very knowledgeable about membership questions or any other questions I might have had. I watch them clean the floors and clean the things that we use during in class right after class. Music was so relaxing and peaceful. Madison was at the desk and she told me to help myself to some tea or water. She was very helpful and very informative so I really did appreciate that especially this being my first visit. She showed me to my room where I was to do the 45 min infrared sauna. She helped me with my Bluetooth connection. I was ready to go after a quick trip to the ladies room. The 45 min was exactly what I needed. It felt so good and so amazing to have that time to myself. I doxed off for a few.. I love that the sauna beeps very mildly to let you know there's 5 min left. I'm definitely looking forward to my next visit most especially because it was a wonderful surprise that they had Easter eggs hidden and the sign said to find one so I did and it said my next appointment was free! I'll definitely be purchasing some more after that! I definitely recommend giving this a try. Self care is so important. The ambiance of the entire environment is very serene and calming. I was…read morethe only person there when I checked in, and the only person in the building during my massage, and it was so quiet. I felt like I could really let go all of the stress and just exhale. I booked my massage with Anthony, the co-owner of Broad Ripple Massage & Wellness. I chose him because he has experience with Thai massage, which my body really responds to. The massage with Anthony was wonderful. He incorporated some elements of Thai massage and stretching, but also lots of Swedish massage strokes and deep-tissue work which targeted some of my most tense muscles. I loved that he focused a lot on my jaw muscles and head/neck area, which just so happens to be where I carry a lot of tension. After my massage, I was fully relaxed and dazed, as one should be after a great massage. Afterward, Anthony told me that I also carry a lot of tension in my chest, and gave me some tips on how to stretch those muscles by stretching out my shoulders and arms. I love walking away with more knowledge on how to take care of myself! Broad Ripple Massage offers massages, but they also offer float therapy, which is a type of sensory deprivation that places you in a room with a shallow pool of salt water that makes you buoyant. And you float, in the dark and without sound, and eventually you fall asleep and your muscles and mind relax. I have never tried float therapy, but I think I am going to take the plunge (so to speak) soon, and my first time will definitely be at Broad Ripple Massage, because they have a nice setup. Broad Ripple Massage is located just off Broad Ripple Avenue, behind the Ascension St. Vincent medical offices. You can park in those parking spaces by St. Vincent, and then walk around onto Winthrop Avenue, where you'll see the sign for Broad Ripple Massage.

I had two massages at another spa in Indianapolis and still was in constant pain. A friend recommended this location and I'm so glad she did! I live in broadripple but had never come across this spa. I was able to schedule a sports massage for the following afternoon. I let the masseuse know about the pain I was experiencing and she made sure I was open to cupping which allows the blood to flow more to the area. I was open to anything as long as it provided relief. During the massage she could tell how the muscles in the right side of my back were swollen and apparently I was a little tight on the left as well. I felt instant relief after the massage and finally had a full nights sleep since the pain began. She worked wonders and this will now be my spa of choice! Looking forward to booking my next massage! They have a shared parking lot in front with at least four designated spots for their guests.
