Was so excited to book for Botox until I got to their waivers and paperwork, where they explain at least 3 times that they appreciate and accept tips for ALL services including from injectors. You even have to click "I agree" when filling it out. They say it's optional but it's highly unethical for medical professionals to even accept tips let alone ask for them and make it a point that they really want a tip. Quality of care from a medical professional should never be influenced by tipping and there's no way someone who is getting an extra $100 from multiple PATIENTS a day isn't going to have a preference for tippers over non tippers. Suggesting a 10-20% tip on a service we pay hundreds for and is marked up 60-70% already is predatory. if they ask for a tip, they don't see themselves as medical professionals performing a procedure. Which is a red flag in and of itself. I would never let any injector from this place touch my face with a needle and you should beware! If you've been tipping for injectables just know they should be refusing, are taking advantage of you and ignoring the ethics code they are well aware of after their medical training and education. read more

I originally went to Rejuvalase through the group on deal they had out. I live in NOVA but I've wanted laser hair removal for a while so, I planned out my appointments and made the drive. I signed up to have my lip and chin done. The technician I had for most of my visits did not listen to me when I was telling her the areas I was still experiencing hair growth. She wasn't rude but i wouldn't say she was friendly either. I wish I had gotten her name or I would have said something. As I was going through the treatments it seemed like it was doing something and i was really excited! I have Italian hair and I couldn't wait to have smooth skin!!! It was about 3 months after that I started experiencing hair regrowth. Which, I expected since there is an expectation that it only gets 80% of the hair. About 6 month after I had at least 50% hair regrowth. Today, I have at least 80 90% hair regrowth. The only place I have not had hair return is from my one appt with a technician who did know what she was doing and listened to where I was having stubborn hair regrowth. Let me begin with the fact I found out about Rejuvalase through a Groupon for laser treatments. I live in DC and wasn't sure how far Stafford, VA was but I was desperate to find a spa. My experience in DC spas has been that the quality of laser treatments, massages and facials is low but the price is the highest I have paid anywhere in the world. (I have had laser removal done at spas all over the US, Latin America & Asia). Rejuvalase has been a savior for me. I have had 3 laser treatments, one facial and microdermabrasion and the results + overall experience has been fantastic! The prices were the most reasonable in the entire DC/VA/MD region and they often have excellent specials. The only drawback, which is not Rejuvalase's fault therefore not reflective of the 5 stars, is the location. Summer traffic has made the venture out to Stafford, VA from DC almost 1.5 hours long. Despite this, the total cost of renting a Zipcar, driving 1.5 hours out and having treatments has not hindered the benefit of having a woman like Marianne treat you like a queen during a facial. I just rock NPR and laugh at the fact that the entire price tag of this venture is still cheaper than one laser session at certain awful, overpriced DC laser removal spas. I have had professional massage a couple of times at different places. Every time I got a massage, I left feeling more like I got run over by a car than relaxed. My husband gave me a gift certificate for a facial and massage at rejuvalase for mother's day. I got a facial from Julie then a massage from Ryko. The place is very pretty and it smells really good like herbs and lavender. Most importantly, I left the building feeling high as a kite! The facial felt so good I cant even attempt to describe it and the massage finally eased the stress and knots in my lower back that I've had ever since having my kids. I don't think their laser tattoo treatments do anything at all. I've had laser tattoo treatments before a couple of other places and the other tattoo is completely gone. It was even supposed to be difficult colors but it disappeared. This tattoo Rejuvalase treated is not the slightest bit lighter after 3 excruciating treatments (I've had a c-section and this pain is worse, it's quicker but it's a 10/10 and it develops a huge blood blister) but then it heals and it's exactly the same AND both tattoos are the same age (20+ years) and were even done by the same artist. Go somewhere else for tattoo removal. Also their latest Botox nurse is SOOOOO ABRASIVE and my Botox lasted like 1/3 as long with her. read more

Rejuvalase is great. When you walk in, there's a great atmosphere. Someone always offers you a glass of water while you wait for your appointment, but I've never had to wait very long anyway. I've gotten four laser treatments there so far, and it only hurts a teeeeny bit. It's more like a hot sensation than anything else. I have a very low pain tolerance, but it's not a big deal at all. I've also gotten a facial, which left my skin feeling softer, and it was really relaxing to boot :D The prices are reasonable and they run great specials as well. As i work at a spa myself, i typically only hey facials and Massages there, but i won a free facial and massage so of course i was not going to let it go to waste! Only thing was ther want much she extracted, but she said there want much to extract- i generally get facials every three weeks so i suppose it's believable. My massage i had Ruriko and they told me she can do anything, Swedish, deep tissue, she can even walk on your back! I get massages every 7-10 days, usually for 90 minutes deep tissue on my neck shoulders, upper and middle back, so i told them that's what i wanted. Welp, that's not what i got. I'm sure if i would have told her to do some trigger point therapy on my Knots and muscle tension i may have enjoyed myself, because i told her i didn't want my arms worked on and she avoided them, but i generally just let the massage therapist do what they want to do after i tell them what i want. She was very sweet and nice and had some great techniques, but Maybe I'm just used to a higher caliber of massage therapist? Or Perhaps she's a masseuse and not a massage therapist so i'm holding her to a higher standard? Idk, but I'll be sticking to my place of business for massages, anything else I'll gladly come here! I have been going to rejuvalese for a while to get Botox or Dysport for a few years. I always had great results, and I always used the same person. Although she was a little more difficult to get an appointment with (she only worked a few days because she home schooled her kids) it was always worth the wait! Keep reading because she is no longer there: Fast forward to recent appointment... the worst experience ever! They didn't have my records and the nurse did not know what the hell she was doing! She seemed afraid to commit to any of the injection spots looking multiple times with confused stares! I told her I wanted the brow lift and she seemed confused and started giving weird disclaimers as if she knew she had no idea how to do it. I have written a review for Rejuvalase before but want to update it because of a fantastic customer service experience that I recently had. I would like to start off by saying that if you are comparing medspas you should choose Rejuvalase purely on their fantastic customer service. They really do go above and beyond for their clients. I came across a minor bump in the road at my last appointment and expressed my frustrations with Maggie, the manager. She went above and beyond to help me fix the matter. Throughout this past week she emailed me and kept me up to date with how she was handling matters, and I can't express to you how much this meant to me as a customer and client. It would have been easy for her to just shrug and say she was sorry, but she didn't do that. She helped me get back on track, rescheduled me to come in (fitting me into their jam packed schedule), and did all with a smile on her face (well it was all via email, but she was extremely helpful and courteous, so it came across as a smile on her face to me ;). Maggie really does understand the value of a happy client, and that is one of the things that separates Rejuvalase from the other medspas. I also can't rave enough about how amazing my laser experience has been at Rejuvalase. I also bought the Groupon and couldn't be happier with my results already, and I've only had 2 treatments done so far. I can already tell a difference in my hair growth, not to mention that the process is completely painless! If you're worried about the pain factor, don't be. If you're used to getting waxed then this process is 99% less painful then getting waxed, with long term results. You really can't lose. I bought a package of six laser hair removal sessions at Rejuvalase. Years ago I had laser hair removal at another establishment with excellent results. I didn't notice any change in my skin after the first session, and during the second Angela B. increased the intensity. I felt tingling and she gave me a small amount of cream in a takeout condiment container to put on the area. The next morning I woke up horrified to see burn marks in several places. I sent pictures and was invited to return to the office. Another esthetician looked at my skin, said the business would comp my second session and gave me a tube of Cicaltrate to apply to my skin. Sadly over two weeks I watched my discolored skin peel and develop light and dark spots. Not seeing much improvement in my skin's condition I contacted the office for a refund. No way would I continue laser treatments or trust anyone at Rejuvalase to touch my skin. My refund request was adamantly rejected by the owner. She actually offered me a chemical peel! Why the owner thought I would allow Rejuvalase to perform a chemical peel after having already burned my skin is beyond me. I sent the owner updated photos of my damaged skin, yet still Rejuvalase would not refund my money. I was so disappointed by this business' response. I was left to use my hundreds of dollars of internal credit on cream for my skin that still, a month later, hasn't healed. read more

First visit and I booked myself a Eminence Classic Enzyme Facial. I made the request online for the end of the week because it's what looked to be available, one of the reps called me the next day to book me one for earlier Monday afternoon which worked great because it was after work. I've never been there so I was scheduled with Peggy who came out to meet me early since I arrived 10 minutes prior to appointment time. She asked questions about my skin regimen and if I've ever had a facial and went through the steps of the 1-hour session. I was given a few minutes to change out of my clothes, and get comfy on the massage table with warm blankets, quiet music and herbal scents to relax. Peggy applied a lotion to remove the makeup and went through the facial routine, several masks and moisturizers along with neck and shoulder and arm massages. Nice to have this after a long day at work! Definitely will take time to pamper myself more often, as these facials take time to really have great effects. read more

Seriously, I'm not sure that I can think of one negative thing to say about Rejuvalase. I'm extremely happy with the service, price, and outcome of everything I have had done there. I originally found Rejuvalase through a Groupon deal for laser hair removal. It was a great deal for six treatments, which I used for the Brazilian bikini hair removal. The technicians were very patient and helpful with a laser-newbie like me. The process never seemed awkward at all. The laser does get hot every once in a while, but the technician is moving it around the area, so it is usually just uncomfortable, not painful. I have now had 4 or the 6 treatments, and I would estimate that I already have an 80% reduction in hair growth from when I started. You may not get the same technician every time, but I've only had 2 different ones thus far - they both were very professional and didn't try to push other treatments on me if I wasn't interested. They also send out e-mail offers to their previous clients with other deals, which I have been very happy with - I even used one of them to get a photofacial. The photofacial: amazing. I'm even more happy with that than with the laser hair removal! I don't have fine lines and wrinkles to worry about (I'm in my twenties), but I absolutely HATE my freckles. I wasn't sure that the photofacial would be able to do anything about it, but the price was so good that I decided to give it a try. The technician was really nice about warning me when the laser pulse would occur so it would be less of a surprise. There is a numbing cream you can put on your face before the procedure, which I did, and it wasn't too bad overall as far as pain. Definitely worth the discomfort. It was a pretty quick procedure (and my face was all blotchy and red when I was done), but the results were excellent. I walked out with darker and more noticeable freckles than when I walked in (which they tell you before the procedure), but over about a week or so, they all flaked off so that the vast majority of my freckles are gone!! It also greatly improved the texture and complexion of my skin. If they offer another deal like that, I will definitely have another photofacial. Rejuvalase may be a bit out of the way if you live closer to DC, but it is worth making the trip. I hate feeling pressure when places want to up sell you on something, but they are pretty laid back here. They'll tell you about the deals they have going on (which are competitive), but they won't try to force you into anything. read more

Owner Maggie Kleber (Maggie Kim) is one of the most disrespectful people I've ever met my life. She threatened me with her husband who she alleges is some high government official. I know you're probably thinking this is so unusual, which I agree but all I'm doing is documenting my experience with her at her business, Rejuvalase MedSpa. I had a laser hair treatment procedure done seven times and paid about $750 with absolutely no results. She was adamant the results are not guaranteed. My fiancé had the same results, about $900 and our hair grew back as if we never went through any of the laser treatment sessions. It was a complete waste of time and money. I highly suggest using another company that achieves positive results and respects and values their customers. If you read some of the negative feedback Maggie's unprofessional behavior is quite widespread if you bring to her attention the lack of results on their laser hair removal treatment sessions. I learned a long time ago a person's character is not judged when times are good but when an adversarial situation presents itself. She will forever be remembered as the worst business owner I've ever dealt with. Received medical treatment from 2 doctors, one medical primary and one dermatologist. Recovery was excruciating and living with these scars is a constant reminder of the pain and suffering I sustained at the hands of Rejuvalase MedSpa. Just visited dermatologist again 8/15 for follow up care. Long road of recovery that will never go away. Rejuvalase's owner and technician showed no care or concern for my injuries. I purchased a package 360 face treatment over two years ago after seeing nice results in an older stylist at my hair salon who had the procedure done. Since I was referred by another client, I received a free microdermabrasion. Nice touch, I thought. The owner, Margaret, was very friendly...until she received my money. Then, the focus was on the next potential client. Nonetheless, I thought I didn't need the owner to be friendly, I just needed the technician to be safe, effective, and efficient. That didn't happen... My technician during the first appointment was the owner. I wish at the time that someone had told me this: "Please do not think that a certified trainer means anything!" Her lack of skill with a laser caused three areas to be permanently scarred because she did several passes over those areas, which melted away the subcutaneous fat. When I returned for my second appointment and showed the next technician the area that concerned me, she said that it was a side effect of treatment, the fat would accumulate over time again, and that she simply would not pass over that area more than once during the appointment. NO ONE showed concern or provided evidence to support their statements! Sadly, I didn't ask for more evidence either since I wanted to believe that they were going to provide reputable service. I wanted my skin to look great...more than I wanted to believe that they could actually make things worse. The reason I purchased the treatment was to improve my complexion. While one part of the 360 did remove excess pigmentation, I have PERMANENTLY damaged areas where the laser literally melted away the subcutaneous fat. Be warned! Furthermore, I never had the same technician on any of the occasions that I was there. On two occasions, a trainee sat in the room to observe a short time. The next time I came in (about 6 weeks later), that person was now doing the procedures independently and proclaimed to have had extensive experience!!! THAT was when I realized that the owner, who was no longer pleasant at all, cared only about the image of a medical environment. In retrospect, I've only seen two staff members who seemed competent.
