I recently visited ageless aesthetics for a promo they had for facial and Botox . I spent over $700 and was told the Botox was "activate" within 7-10 days. It's been nearly a month and I see no difference. Some of the staff was very standoffish and had terrible customer service. It was as if I was inconveniencing them. Needless to say I feel completely scammed , I believe I was injected with saline and not Botox. Regardless of false accusations on the owner of this practice I'd like to say the service here has been nothing but phenomenal. Mrs. Tapan was very welcoming . Front staff was kind and knowledgeable on their products . I came here for a little pick me up after having my 6th baby and left there feeling fabulous . I got a hydro facial spa and dermal filler for my marionette lines and Botox for my forehead . let's just say I was anxious at first but when Dr. Tapan walked in and explained everything I was relieved because it was my first time with needles . I was SO excited to get my first micro needling session done. I'd actually SAVED UP for this session as I'm not used to spending this kind of money on MYSELF. I have 2 young children and we're stationed here with no family for help... I spent $350 on my session and tipped $50. I let the aesthetician know I have an allergy to coconut and confirmed that I've never had a history of cold sores... I then signed the paperwork with these 2 facts notated. I laid down- we wiped my face off... let the numbing set for some time and Wendy did my needling. She got great coverage... after the apt I was way redder than I thought I would be. Whatever- beauty is pain. I have had an allergic reaction to coconut before. I know EXACTLY how it feels, hence how I learned I was allergic. My skin broke out in boils, I was itching and burning like no other. I washed my face and reapplied the after care I was given and my skin felt worse. I read the ingredients and discovered a coconut ingredient. I washed my face AGAIN and applied MY OWN sensitive skin lotion. Changed my pillowcase- slept on my back and woke up to more boils on my skin. I called Ageless Ast. to inform them of what was happening to me. They brushed it off telling me it was normal and probably a cold sore outbreak "based on my photos" and offered to prescribe me a steroid... I declined and made an apt to see my dermatologist. The dermatologist confirmed I was having an allergic reaction. He also said the sores on my chin were, in his very professional opinion, STAPH infection. He took swabs to be extra certain and prescribed me an oral and topical antibiotic. The owner of the company called me to gas light me, avoid apologizes and blame me for not putting the allergy in my chart. I was shocked at how bad my face looked and NOW I'm even more shocked at how this situation was "handled"... I am actually heart broken that my FACE is itching and worse off than before I booked at appointment. ZERO STARS. read more

So I'm at the airport waiting to board a plane to fly to small claims court in Virginia to sue Ageless Aesthetics for the $3,000 I paid for no services rendered. I noticed Ageless responded to my review on Google: Response from the ownera month ago: Thank you Lori for your very insincere and inaccurate review. We debated for several days on responding considering the request for no contact from your harassment however your inability to accept what we can do for you or allow the court to handle this changed our mind. As a business owner (small or corporate) it's unfortunate that owners should be made to feel threatened because of a webpage/review page allows just anyone to post anything they desire to obtain an upper hand "In the customer is always right" , however that saying is not true. Same as your review. Consumers have protection rights but business do as well. You apparently have a lot of time on your hands and your threats to leave negative reviews is not now or was never the issue. It was the numerous calls, emails, 3 am text messages and threatening my staff. Based on your social media activity and the amount of time you have spent harassing our staff solidified that this matter was handled correctly. Your online presence reviewing other business ONLY NEGATIVELY demonstrates that nothing any business can do will make you happy. We're sorry we were unable to make you happy like the other businesses you have spent your time reviewing. We are a very fair business and go above and beyond to ensure we give every client a good experience and again we apologize we were unable to make you happy or satisfy your demands. I've never "threatened" Ms. Tappan with anything other than seeking remedy in court, which is not only my legal right but is also not considered a threat. Indeed, I had a legal obligation to inform Ms. Tappan that I would be pursuing the matter in court, in order to give her notice and an opportunity to resolve the matter (should she choose to do so). Her assumption that I "have a lot of time on my hands" is incorrect, bizarre, and irrelevant. The amount of free time I have or don't have has nothing to do with the matter at hand, and is merely an inflammatory statement. I've left three negative reviews for Ageless Med Spa, one on Yelp and one on Google and one on BBB, all consisting of truthful and factual statements. I did not lower myself to make any personal attacks or assumptions regarding the business or it's owner and/or staff members. I did attempt to leave a third on Facebook, but it was erased. I did leave one voicemail at the business at a late hour (I live in a different time zone), assuming that since it was a business line my call and voicemail would not bother anyone, and that they would simply receive my message when they arrived in the morning. I NEVER threatened or harassed Ms. Tappan or any of her staff. Such allegations are indeed untruthful and defamatory. Ms. Tappan also advises that all of my online reviews are negative, another allegation which is blatantly false and as such, defamatory. In fact, of approximately 14 reviews I have posted on Yelp, 9 are 5 star reviews. Regardless, my reviews of other businesses is irrelevant to the question of whether I am entitled to a refund of the $3,000 I paid to Ageless Med Spa for services which turned out to be medically contraindicated, money paid for services that were never rendered. I am now on a plane traveling more than 1000 miles to appear in small claims court regarding this matter. If I did not believe that I was in the right and that I have ample evidence to support my position, I would not incur the expense of traveling back to Virginia to ask a Judge to hear this case. I WILL be presenting my email and telephone logs in court, as well as copies of all reviews - although the issue before the court is whether the $3,000 I paid to Ageless should be refunded, and not whether I posted a negative review or not. There is absolutely no reasonable excuse for not having front office staff in an establishment that claims to provide spa services. Blaming the shortage of front office staff for cancelled appts, locked front door during business hours or no one to answer the phone during business hours is unacceptable. I have been going here for facial treatments with Wendy for over a year now and my skin has improved 150%. Had a lot of sun damage over the years and is pretty much gone now. She always goes above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable prior to facial/treatments and I always leave feeling refreshed and skin renewed afterwards. Been to a few spas in the past few years here in the area but Ageless Aesthetics definitely gives Top Notch Care to their Clients and Prices are Great! But what really sets this place apart from most is their Staff. Their Entire Team is So Welcoming from the moment you walk in which in turn makes your Appointment So Much More enjoyable. The level of professionalism of the front desk is abhorrent. I have been a long standing customer for some time and I am appalled at the way the "practice manager" talks to people. Not only have I witnessed Sher on the phone with customers slamming the receiver down, hitting the desk out of frustration, rolling her eyes and over talking customers, I have personally been treated the same when I called in. While the other staff are pleasant and helpful, she is a terrible representation and brand for Ageless. I am embarrassed for Ageless and what they've built over the years! To have this be the way customers, paying customers, are treated by the Practice Manager is a complete disgrace! read more

Super happy! The doctor was knowledgeable. I didn't feel over sold and he listened to exactly what I wanted. I was nervous as this was my first time to try Botox and fillers. I wanted to remain natural but freshened up and I feel fabulous already! All prices were explained and what the out come would be. Very friendly staff and a well decorated spa like setting. Doctor was nice, staff not so much. I went with a friend. This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever been to. Office staff wasn't very friendly, waited OVER 90 MINUTES TOTAL. First of all it Took over 30 min to be taken back. Was numbed and waited another 15 min to speak to the doctor who then leaves even though we told him she was numb. wait another 5-10 min. Ride office staff moves her to some office/break room because another client that came in for a quicker procedure was going to be seen first, WTF?!
