I called ahead and asked: SkinPen or Dr. Pen for micro needling? Answer: SkinPen. Asked again 5 minutes before treatment: SkinPen or Dr. Pen? Answer: SkinPen. The girl doing the treatment HERSELF said she was using SkinPen. During and immediately following treatment, I noticed it didn't feel like my previous SkinPen experience--no pain, barely any redness. That's when I asked to verify the device. She handed me the needle attachment, not the pen. When I insisted on seeing the actual device, she laid it face-down so you couldn't see the name. I turned it over to see that it was labeled Dr. Pen. When I confronted them, they offered to reduce the price to $50. I refused--I didn't ask for Dr. Pen and they lied about it twice. I told them either I walk out owing nothing or I'd make sure everyone knew they deliberately misrepresent their services. They apologized for the "misunderstanding" and said I owed nothing. This wasn't confusion or a "misunderstanding". It was a deliberate lie. I ultimately didn't have to pay for the service and was going to let this go. But CUSTOMERS NEED TO KNOW HOW THEY CONDUCT BUSINESS!!! They're liars!

Fortunately I've been able to utilize three lifting facials I purchased via Groupon. Victoria did all of my lifting facials and I have to say that they were all great! Very different from any facial I've had previously. No extractions nor steam are used. I am used to the microdermabrasion and regular facials. The lifting facial is totally relaxing and I can see a difference in my skin immediately after the facial. There is less puffiness and there appear to be less lines as well. It's all about the massaging techniques and strokes used during the entire session. Victoria seems to be well versed and educated when it comes to the skin, inner body and much more. The facility seems to offer a plethora of treatments including scalp massages for hair growth, body wraps, specific facials and body treatments that all target specific areas or problematic issues. I have already purchased another Groupon for the Microdermabrasion set and hope to have the same experience. I attempted to purchase a single body wrap but was only offered a package. I will try that once the funds in my bank account are more steady. Anyhow, I will update my review once I have had my micros which I am very excited about! I am also looking into the products they sell. I may purchase a few in the very near future. Like many people, I do my research prior to purchasing anything, whether that be a product, service, menu item, etc. I rely heavily upon reviews. Despite the fact that I only found one yelp review, I decided to take a chance on Etuale by purchasing their Groupon deal for 1 session of microdermabrasion. I'm so happy that I didn't judge this place based on the lack of reviews. The reason there are so few reviews, is merely because this is a new business, and lets face it, everyone is busy/gets sidetracked with everything else going on in our lives--it even took me over a week to finally buckle down and write this review! But I promised myself I would take the time to get the word out about this spa, because I hope other people enjoy services here and I hope the business succeeds as well! I called prior to scheduling to ask some questions and inquire about the facials listed on their regular menu of services. The receptionist could not have been more friendly, accommodating and patient with all of my questions. She also advised me that the Groupon deal for microdermabrasion is for a 30 min session & regular priced is 1hr. I already had a good feeling about my future service. I ended up adding their regular facial to my microdermabrasion appointment. On the date of my appointment, my beautiful esthetician, Olga, first met with me in the cute reception area to go over my concerns and skin overview. After our quick discussion, she went back to the room to prepare the regime she thought would be best for my skin type. (Side note: Olga has perfect, glowing and healthy looking skin, which I would hope that your esthetician should! But you never know! Her skin is impeccable!) During the microdermabrasion* and facial Olga took her time to explain each of the serums and lotions as she applied, and their benefits. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. The spa was exceptionally clean and made me feel very relaxed, and greatly helped my skin. I will certainly be back again! Thank you Olga!!
