I had a very disappointing experience with Jessica. The entire appointment felt unprofessional and…read moreunsanitary. She was literally blowing on the wax with her breath to cool or warm it, which I found extremely unhygienic. The wax was also far too hot. I told her multiple times that it was burning me and asked her to turn the temperature down, but she refused. On top of that, she didn't even remove all of the hair. When I politely pointed out the areas she missed, she responded with an attitude instead of addressing the issue professionally. I would not recommend this service. Professionalism, cleanliness, and listening to clients' concerns are essential, and unfortunately, this experience fell short in all of those areas.

I walked out of here covered with blue green turquoise wax (how many people can actually know the color of their wax unless it's left behind in big quantities) and still with hair that a Brazilian wax should have removed. Today I went home laid back and started taking pictures because I wanted to be sure I wasn't being over critical. 17 pictures later I'm disappointed at the time I wasted and won't get back. I don't know if the service was rushed because of a packed schedule since next appointment called in while I was there. She asked for next appointment to give her two minutes. Two minutes I was out the door. My only other thought was maybe the hair wasn't long enough for the wax. She could have said that in the beginning and I could have rescheduled. She is sweet and makes you feel comfortable. Definitely would recommend her to someone doing a Brazilian for the very first time ever. Comparison is the thief of joy and she made me miss my old regular waxer.

I highly recommend getting threaded instead of waxed on your face. It's so much better for your skin. If you have never gotten your eyebrows threaded, in the scale of pain, it's not so bad. Even if you have sensitive skin you will be able to handle it and if you can't only a few uncontrolled tears will come out. In the past year they have added two more service chairs, meaning wait time is less now since they have two additional ladies who joined their team. They have replaced the sofa with bar stools while you wait. Overall, good changes. The prices have not increased this year, which is great because compared to other threading salon this one is decently priced.~

You can tell she's really good because many of the other women who come to the shop are sitting in the waiting chairs just for her, even though there are other ladies available to provide the same service. She takes her time and makes the unpleasant experience of threading bearable. There is one other lady named Saima who did a great job when I had her once and she works weekdays when Nesha isn't there (Nesha works Friday-Sunday) so you have someone to get those brows done if you can't wait til the weekend. Prices are okay, $11 for brows. Make sure to ask for a punch out card if you plan on coming back often-they don't volunteer that information but they have them.

I was relieved to find the booking platform was user-friendly, which allowed me to quickly book the first available appointment (Regular pedicure with French) they had for the afternoon (12:45 PM). Shortly after booking, I did receive a text message confirmation of my appointment. I decided to find somewhere to grab a bite to eat before returning for my appointment time. When I returned I was quickly checked in by their receptionist and brought back to the pedicure chairs. I was greeted nicely but the pedicurist didn't introduce herself so I can't confirm her name, but online it said my appointment was with Lissa. There was one client leaving when I arrived and another getting a manicure. The salon is very spacious and clean. A very strong citrus scent fills the building. Very light spa music played in the background throughout my visit. The TV plays videos of various island resort beaches. The gel polish removal process was very natural. No drill was used. From there she proceeded with my pedicure which was ok. She was very gentle in handling my feet and legs. I was a bit disappointed at the cold pedicure water and there were no jets or bubbles but maybe that's included with the higher priced pedicure options. This salon is DEAD SILENT lol like you can hear a pin drop in here. Very different than what I am use to. Lissa did a good job of cleaning the nail beds and achieving my desired length and shape. The outcome of the French was also just ok. I personally didn't really care for how thin the French on my big toes were but all other nails came out flawless. Their pedicure chairs are some of the most comfortable I've experienced. The massage is gentle and doesn't violently knead your back while the chairs themselves hug you like a glove. I don't know if I would return but I would definitely recommend to anyone who lives close by. Especially anyone very big on natural nail restoration. My total was $56.65 not including tip. My itemized bill was conveniently emailed to me within minutes of checking out.
