I get deep tissue messages and both times I've had to do breathing exercises while she's working out knots or tight muscles, SOOOO GOOD. They asked me and my partner individually to do 90 minutes even though we had reserved it for 60. We got there 15 minutes later, but had to wait an additional 15 minutes in the lobby. Would've liked to be told they were running 30 minutes late instead. The massage experience: good pressure and technique. But the overall experience was not detail oriented. The pillows/support items were placed lop-sided and I had to adjust them myself every time. It was difficult to breathe through the liner that covered the spot for the head. The amount of massage oil used was stingy - felt like it was creating more resistance than helping with it. The music kept breaking and they left it like that for like 20 minutes before fixing it. It was altogether very distracting. When I went up to pay, they charged me $146, even though they had previously confirmed over both the phone and text that it would cost $140. I was initially going to use a Groupon that cost $143, but they asked me to pay them directly instead because they would charge me less and because it would be better for the business. I was surprised to see the tips to choose from ranged from ~25 to ~35 (don't remember the actual numbers but it was shockingly high). I did not have a great experience altogether but was still planning to tip 18%. When I tried to type it up myself, the front desk lady said I had to tip 20%, she pulled out a calculator and said that would be $30 (which should have been $28 for $140). It was not a suggestion to change what I was typing. She was telling me to do so. I wasn't bothered by the few dollars, but rather the dishonesty and sneakiness behind the business. One or two wrong things can be a mistake. It was our anniversary and we were really excited to try a new spot. But we unfortunately did not enjoy this experience. We will be going back to our regular spot.

She walked on me, stretched me, and worked out every knot I didn't even know I had. I could literally feel the stress melting away.
