I think that they are classically trained because they know exactly what they are doing. It's not just a foot massage but a head, neck, arm and back massage. While they don't claim to practice Chinese medicine, I feel that there are components of the massage that incorporate these principals. I've got to tell you - this place is awesome! We went here to kill some time before our dinner reservation at RA. We had no idea what to expect but we're certainly glad we did it! You can chose from 30 min foot massage, 30 min detox or 30 min massage - or a combination of two of them. We opted for the 30 min foot massage and 30 min detox. Both were super relaxing and therapeutic. Once you choose what service you would like you go back into a room with half beds that you lay down on as they massage your feet. It's really a treat and you can just walk in. Next time I will do the 30 min foot massage / 30 min massage combo. Can't wait! read more

I brought my girlfriend to this place to just get a foot massage and ended up getting the foot massage and back massage bundle and can I tell you that was the best decision of my life. It was very affordable and they go above and beyond. The vibe was mellow and felt very relaxed. I would 100% be coming here again and I highly recommend. Also, I am not a deep tissue person and they massages they give are deep tissue. Some of them hurt a little but honestly I sucked it up a little and it felt amazing after. Once the massages were done, my girlfriend and ai walked out the room with sleepy eyes and felt very relax and said "wow" at the same time. I didn't know what to expect, but I loved my relaxing 60 minute foot massage. I specifically asked for just a foot massage and it was heavenly. The atmosphere was clean, quiet and relaxing. I hate to leave bad reviews on small businesses but I just had the worst massage of my life, if you can call it a massage. The man who "massaged" me had no idea what he was doing and actually strained my shoulder. Hours later it still hurts. Then the owner tried to insist I tip the guy who "massaged" me!? I just paid $80 for some guy to spend 5 min wiggling his fingers in my ears, awkwardly slather lotion on me for an hour and a shoulder injury. No tip. I won't be coming back. read more

This place is AMAZING!! My husband and I have been coming here for years. It's located in the Dana Park Mall next to Firehouse Subs. Appears to be run by a husband/wife team, Paul and Joy. It is clean and smells nice, dimly lit with wooden floors, a fish tank, and peaceful music playing. You start out in a reclining chair where they do foot and hand reflexology. Then, they move you to a private room to massage your back. I go in with stress and soreness and leave feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated! I have only had Joy work on me and can say that she is incredible! My husband says Paul is awesome too. They give you a cool bottle of water when you leave and have stamp cards for a free massage after you purchase 10. 1 hour reflexology runs you $30 + tip and they offer a couples special for $55 + tip for an hour -- the only tricky thing is making sure you get there when there are 2 available appointments but you can always call ahead! Hours are Mon-Sat 10a-9p and Sun 10a-7p. On a side note: Dear reflexology customers, please practice some common courtesy and don't snore like a lawn mower when you're getting your massage. Yes, it feels good but have some self control and don't ruin the feel-good vibes for those around you. When I went tonight there was a dude who was snoring louder than a garbage truck and moaning in his sleep. If I wasn't so relaxed, he would've gotten his tub of foot water dumped on his head. First off the price is just right - $55/couples massage or $30 for a 60-minute full body massage :) Second - the place looked sketch from the outside and even the "waiting area" but it was extremely clean and the ambiance was relaxing. Last but not least, they graciously took 6 of us in at the same time and was accommodating to our individual needs. This is not just a rub of your feet massage that you see in the malls. They start at your head down to your neck and then your arms as your feet are soaking. Then the foot magic starts. Came into the store..the massage started out good but then there was noise coming from all around the store. A lady was making food in the back and you can hear her shuffling through the food, putting it in the microwave. The guy that gave me the massage was really rough. His hands were really rough too. I was a drop in at 8pm. They close at nine, but got me in. I was the only customer in there, so it felt a little weird. The place is sandwiched in between a Rosatis and Cafe Zupa. So don't go for a massage if you are hungry! I felt so guilty having the sweet lady rubbing all over me on a Friday night after 8pm. If there were other other people there getting massages at the same time as me, It would have felt more normal. But anyway! She did an amazing job. Her hands were so strong and she was very consistent and through. Just when I thought it was over, she had me go into the room where she massaged my back and butt! I wanted so bad to say "oh yeah, that feels awesome" but it felt creepy to say that. After she was done, she handed me an icy cold bottle of water. I took my wife here for a "couples massage." It wasn't very "coupley" if thats even a word but this place is DEFINITELY worth the price. $55 for me and my wife to get massaged from head to toe, literally. The place is a bit sketch when walking in and all the beds are lined up in a room but they are separated by curtains so you get your privacy. They start by soaking your feet in a water solution (i'm assuming to sterilize). While your feet are soaking they start at your head, rubbing your temples and massaging your scalp putting you in a totally relaxed state. They move from your head/neck/shoulders to your arms and end up at your legs & feet. I thought the massage was over when she was done with my legs/feet but she then led me into a private massage room to finish with a back massage. ugh, the asian reflexology techniques were amazing. She got all my trigger points and then some. Even came with a nice butt massage (clothes on of course). I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone wanting a massage. 60 mins for $35/single or 60 min for $55/couples massage. How can you beat that? Went here for a full body massage and it isnt what I was expecting. The foot massage was better than the whole body. I came in with a back ache and the massage didnt really help it much but it wasnt too bad. I feel that If they werent coming in and out too much I would have had a better experience. I felt that I was left there a couple times throughout my one hour session. Though, it wasnt horrible. I would come again but only for the foot massage. read more

Disgusting! The worst foot spa I have ever been to. When I got there-there were two clients. When they left I was quickly told to go to the seat one of the previous clients was sitting in even though there were several other seats available. This happened very quickly and it did not appear to be cleaned between clients. Then a few more customers came in and it was a little busy. The employees began arguing in front of my spot I suspect because they had more clients than employees available. I received no foot massage or service besides soaking my feet in the lukewarm water and having someone come over with a flashlight every few minutes to look at the water. The environment was loud, irritating, and uncomfortable. When they finally told me what the color of the ionic water meant. I thought it was funny because it was indicating a problem with an organ I have had removed. Then he said it actually looks more like another color so that was what he meant to say, total B.S. read more
