Decided to treat myself and found this highly rated place. I called to make an appointment and they were able to get me in right away. I decided to get the 60 minute foot reflexology which was only $40!! Crazy cheap! I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and quiet this place was. My masseuse Anna placed my feet into a bucket of warm water as she began to massage my face, head, neck, shoulders and arms. I closed my eyes and felt incredibly relaxed. The reflexology- the arches, heels, toes, and the pressure points on feet felt so satisfying. Anna basically worked my entire body and even stretched me. After the massage, Anna gave me a bottle of water. $50 including tip for a wonderful hour of massage is hard to beat. I left feeling so loose and relaxed. The place itself looks well maintained and cleaned. The person I got was very friendly but unfortunately she just rubbed me back and forth and didn't focus on the areas of concern. She then used her elbow against my spine and I had to ask her to stop. The man in the front didn't even tell me about the $2 charge on using a debit card. He just charged it. read more

I loved the massage, great atmosphere BUT the other customers arriving should be mindful of the people attempting to relax.

I've been to this place probably 20 or 30 times over the three years I've lived in Chandler, so I know exactly what to expect. Unfortunately, my last three visits were mediocre at best. I went again last night with a friend, and it will likely be my last visit. The therapist used the bare minimum amount of oil, which caused my skin to be pulled on my arms, neck, and legs--it was a terrible experience. She repeated the same strokes over and over to the point where the bottoms of my feet felt like they were burning. They also use latex gloves, which I'm allergic to, and she barely applied any oil to my feet. I spent most of the session counting down until it was over. When she rolled me over to work on my upper and lower back, all she did was repeatedly roll along my spine. I've been here many times and know what a good experience should be, but this was awful. Over the past year, the quality of the staff has clearly declined--either they've lost skilled workers or someone has gotten lazy. I will be going elsewhere moving forward. read more

I won't be going here ever again for a massage. They just lost two customers. We paid and handed the owner the tip which was $5 a piece and they looked at the tip and then laughed. I immediately took my tip right back. I wish I would pay my hard earned money on a tip when the massage wasn't even that great (she definitely half azzed my massage) and I wasnt satisfied. I contemplated even tipping that amount. But to laugh at me is insane. I work hard for every cent and won't be tolerating this with anyone I patronize. You laugh NO TIP! I'm tipping ONLY when service is above and beyond. You have to EARN my tip and they DID NOT! I'll be sure to tell the people from work that I recommended here to DISCONTINUE going here as well. A friend and I went here for a spa day and it was great. We received the foot reflexology and the ion detox soak. Both were nice and relaxing. It is a small, dark spa with about 8 sectioned off rooms. The staff were all attentive and friendly, even with a small communication barrier. The prices were reasonable and I would definitely return! I went in today for a massage, this was the second time I go. This time was HORRIBLE. The guy I had was so rough. I kept telling him to go softer and he wouldn't listen. Wow! My friends and I go regularly for reflexology and massages to celebrate each other's birthday. We decided to try somewhere new, closer to where we were having dinner and it blew our minds Chi gave all 4 of us incredible experiences; so much so that our regular place is fired. All staff was highly trained and professional. The atmosphere was relaxing. Very good massages! Our only complaint was confusion at checkout. We were all Mis charged or undercharged and asked to pay again and then overcharged. We will watch this closely next time and make sure it was an honest mistake at checkout. To the owner: "Yah.... no." If this were an uncommon reaction from a client, you would DO something. You would not just whine that you "care" and are doing your best. For example, you could invite the client to call so you could hear more about their experience in order to understand the problem, details. In my case, I would share that there was no place to put our clothes except on the floor and quite a few other things that one would consider basic amenities for the client. You may want to talk to someone who has owned a successful business for other ideas. read more

Been here 2-3x and thought I'd already left a review but here I am now. Lovely experience, just awesome and relaxing. I love getting massages and my fave is the combo where most of the time it's on your feet but they also work on the rest of your body. It's amazing how relaxing a massage over clothes with compression on just the right places makes a difference! Will definitely return. The location is about 20min away from my home, but it is worth the drive. There is usually no wait time when you walk-in without an appointment. Legs were tense on a roadtrip so I googled a massage place nearby, not expecting much but man I was blown away!! So much so that I had to stop and review. Got me in very quickly, suggested a combo that would work well, foot bath and reflexology was great but the full body was way more comprehensive than I thought I would get. My scalp, shoulders, back, hips, thighs and back to the feet again. I was floating after! And for the price, that was more than I bargained for! Maybe that's standard here in AZ? I have come here several times and the massages have always been fantastic but for some reason, this time I was told I had to give a 20% tip. I was caught off guard by that because I was never asked to do that before. My understanding of tips is that they are voluntary based on the service that was received. Typically if you are coming in a large group, then a tip might be mandatory to service your party, but I came as a single person. If there is an expectation of a mandatory 20% tip then customers need to know about that and it should be posted somewhere on the website or at the counter where the pricing is listed. I didn't have a problem paying it but I don't like the fact that it was expected, since it's my decision as to whether or not I want to give a tip based on the service I received. Hubby and I finally decided to give reflexology and a detox a try! Since Chi Foot Spa had great reviews and wasn't too far we decided to start here and boy are we glad we did. I will say language was a tiny barrier but thats ok because there was a menu of services to choose from and it made its pretty easy! We opted for the 20 min detox + 30 min reflexology ($40). The establishment was very clean and for the most part quiet (little noise with people checking in - which was infrequent). We were escorted to a room that could accommodate both of us and the treatment promptly stated - first the detox where we trustingly placed our feet in a bucket of water and were hooked up too a machine - first we though we'd be electrocuted (JK)....we had no idea what to expect but we went along with It and at the end he showed us the water and explain the color coincided to Joint Detox for our water (there are different colors with different meanings). then we had two gentleman come in to start our reflexology massage - which was delightful! (only regret was not doing the 60 mins for an extra $5). All in all we'd recommend Chi foot spa! read more
