11/26/22 Today my wife's back is bothering her. Since we were close to Jared's, we stopped by the mall for dinner. Before stopping to get a bite to eat, I told my wife I would pay for the kind of massage she likes. This would be the chair massage that apparently everyone enjoys. It is Saturday and this place has a waiting list. We have one person a head of is, but she is waiting for Fiona. I am not sure who we will get, but time is on our side. The lady in orange with the black boots I like ended up being the person my wife went with. I thought about a massage myself, but not today. The sounds of the massage clocks keep going off and they are loud. Still, you are shown the time you asked for and your time isn't cheated. The woman known to me as Boots seems to be getting the job done. When it is all said and done, I hope to see a big smile on my wife's face. I watch the massage therapists doing their 10 to 30 minute routine. I wonder what is going on in their minds? Well I found out who the masseuse is for my wife. The woman named Boots turned out to be named Maria. I tipped Maria in cash which she seemed to like more than added to the receipt. Next time I am here, I have two people to choose from. Out of what seems like hundreds of spas/massage therapy businesses in the area I could only find two with short session chair massage. I chose Relaxing Work because there weren't negative reviews and because I got a person on the phone when I called to inquire during regular business hours. I indicated that I wanted special attention to my left shoulder and after only a few minutes Charlie had zeroed in on all of the problematic muscle groups. After 30 minutes my time was up but when I asked if there was any other recommended work It was suggested that I do 10 more minutes to complete the job. I was very agreeable to this and when he finished I said I would return tomorrow for more but I was told NOT to come back for at least two days to allow for the process of recovery. In addition I was given treatment instruction for that night and the following day. Very comprehensive and excellent work. read more

Stay away from this place, after 10 minutes of what was supposed to be a back massage, the lady pressed on my neck so hard that I'm still in pain and unable to move my neck well, on top of that she demanded a tip because this is America, my answer was simply in America we tip only when the service is good, otherwise we don't! read more

After a tough workout my shoulders were insanely sore. I only requested 20 minutes, but my massage therapist (Tim) was so on top of his game I asked him to extend the time. He focused on the areas I requested and did a great job. The place is so affordable how can you not check them out? read more

No privacy but what do you expect from being in the middle of the mall. They are fantastic however and always do good massages.

Initially, I thought great. Massages the spot exactly where i needed it badly, my upper back. So I used to go to the older chinese man specifically when I got chance to return. The several times afterwards, instead of focusing on the areas requested, he would have his hand more towards my jean and shirt area, as if he was trying to put my shirt down from riding up. I had to tell him several tines to focus on the upper back...my shirt was not riding up, as i made sure to completely tuck it in. Then at the last visit instead of at all focusing on the key area to massage, he not only kept his hands continuously putting my shirt down, but also unhooks my bra. I was so shocked, I had no words when I left. From putting his hand down my butt line to unhooking my bra strap, I felt completely violated...and feel like it everytime I visit the mall. I will never go to them again. Females beware. If there were a no star, that is what this business deserves, no star and no business. Pervs. Complete and utter disappointment. read more

This was an unplanned massage--I mean really, after all it's in the center of a mall. But I was soon pleasantly surprised by the quality of the massage I received by Michael. My neck and shoulders muscles were VERY tight and sore from too much gardening and over use and I was in a lot of pain. I opted for the 15 minute massage which included my neck, shoulders and arms. Within a minute, this skilled Masseur proved he knew his stuff. It was like I wasn't even in a crowded mall. I am sure not all "mall massage kiosks" are high quality massages; however, this sore gal was happy to discover this one!! I'm glad I live and work close to the mall as I will definitely be going back here and asking for Micheal-who works there 6 days a week! I only wish I had tried this sooner! read more

I work in construction and sometimes end up pulling a muscle in my back or have stress through strenuous lifting while working. I came in to get some relief at lunch time the first time a year and a half ago when I pulled a back muscle that lasted for 3 days and I happened to be working nearby and couldn't hardly breathe as it was getting worse every day...Charley has been great from day one! If I ever have a pulled muscle problem, I just come in and explain to him more or less where it is and he immediately locates the muscles that I know are locked up and finds ones that I didn't know were on the opposite side of my back, as well as massages all the connecting tissue and always brings immediate relief in 20 min right in the middle of the mall...this is the best 20 bucks you will spend on health care this year! I even bought gift certificates for family for christmas this year because its that good! If your in Dulles town center shopping for Christmas, stop and rest here, you won't regret it! read more

A really high quality and professional massage for a very fair and minimal price. The stress and tightness absolutely leaves my body every time I go there and they've even resolved my neck being locked and unable to move in just 30 minutes. Even though you're in the middle of the mall in front of everyone, you don't even realize it or care because the massage is so great. It costs less than a dollar a minute and they really do a good job, so please tip them. You're in a chair, clothed and NOTHING inappropriate ever happens.
