12/10/23 We ended up stopping by this massage establishment, because my wife and I prefer  private room(s) than being out in the open area of the mall. My wife was having some sciatic nerve pains  and wanted the pain rubbed out. One thing my wife wasn't happy about with this business is the lack of having a restroom in the shop.  She did not like having to go outside into the mall to use the restroom.  Especially if the eurge to go happens during your massage. I am sure this has happened to a number of clientele.  Oh well. After waiting around for 90 minutes for my wife to finish her massage, I got my chance for another 30 minutes massage with Coco. Personally, I think two hours with Coco would make up the difference between a short 30 minute massage tease, but I took what I can get. Coco started with the preliminaries, but with the time being so limited, she did not have time to do a thorough massage. My targeted areas were lower back, glutes and legs.   Coco was kind enough to put a little extra time on my feet.  I really appreciate that. Seeing how my skin seemed to be dry, I left the oil on my skin.  My 30 minute massage just went by too quickly,...which was a huge disappointment. This is what happen when you have a 30 minute massage tease. I will get my chance for a two hour massage, but it will probably be after Christmas.  I look forward to this.. read more

Some constructive suggestions: - Don't take calls while giving a massage. - If you do take a personal call while giving a massage, make the time up and apologize for the interruption. I made an appt. At 2pm the day before for the location in Pentagon City Mall . I was there 45 mins early. I went walked the mall but came back 15 mins before my appt at 2pm. I waited in the wait area seem like the workers were taking all Caucasian walking in . 40 mins later a young lady walks up to me letting me know it was my turn. I asked would I get a discount she laughs but I was dead serious my time is everything. I made an appointment for that reason. I knew what I had to do. She did not give me a discount. Always had great massage (back) in the chair (at their Kiosk). Today caught me off guard, when after the massage, the old man asked for a tip! Yes, they speak very good English (other reviews). Tips aren't expected, they are earned. To put it in context, I paid with $100 ($30 charge), and he provided change in $20 and $10s. He was expecting 30% tip!! After saying I said no, she told me to come back another day after making the appointment. Since they had 'no time' even thought it was only 5:45 and they close at 8:30pm. Got a chair massage and felt like I was going to die. The guy was SUPER rough. I asked him to be gentler or to be lighter and I guess he didn't hear me though I wasn't quiet about it. My wife also asked for lighter and she complained after that the guy massaging her ignored her as well. It's pretty damn painful. He was nearly body slamming me with his elbows, to the point the chair almost gave way at one point. I went in with a sore back, and came out with slightly better back around my shoulder blades, sore everywhere else, sore neck, and a headache. So... yeah, if you like insanely rough massages, and I know some people do, then this is the place for you. If not, I wouldn't recomend it, because they're not goint to adjust for you. read more

It is located on the second floor of by the entrance of elevation burger.. i was invited by a friend for a couple massage . I didn't like that i was rushed while taking off my clothes cause they kept asking if we were ready. Then the massage itself was mediocre. the only good thing was the the hot stone they used. I got plenty of massages before and this place only work on my back, barely touch my legs and the front of my body was not even touch! Oh the massage was suppose to be 60 mins they only did 50 mins. Really unprofessional. The guy kept moving my hands toward his crotch area while facing me down. I had to tell him off and keep my hands on the massage table. Horrible experience. These people are very shady, charlatans, extremely unsanitary and noone speaks English, so there is no way to discuss anything. From the smells on the head pillows, to the towels that were used, to the constant opening of the door to the hallway as I am getting a massage. It was all around horrific. Worst experience ever. My fiancé and I came out of Macy's and the owner was outside flagging us down and trying to get us to come in. I declined but my fiancé was talked into a couples massage for $39 a person. The guy who did mine was way too rough and the whole thing was uncomfortable as we weren't in a room, just out in the open store front laying on 2 tables put next to each other. When we went to pay, it came out to $226 that we never agreed to pay. He had tacked on all these extra charges, one being "no reservation fee" WHEN HE PRACTICALLY FORCED US IN. Another extra charge was for "extra hands" for the both of us. So two people massaging. But my second person left halfway through. Do not go in here. He also demanded a tip. What a joke. I went for a massage at this place in Fair Oaks Mall. The masseuse put a sheet over my back so she would'nt actually touch my skin!!! What kind of a massage is that??? This is a good place for a "functional" massage (as opposed to a relaxing one). Cons: They do portions of the massage through a rough towel. There is no sound proofing, so you can hear front office activities and some mall traffic (and the lady moaning next door). It is chilly, as other reviewers have mentioned, and there's a little bit of a language barrier to overcome with a few of the staff. They don't use robes; it's towel service only. Pros: The place is very clean, there is relaxing music. The hot stone therapy is done really well. They wipe the massage oil off of you before the session is done. They honor / match Groupon offers without you needing to purchase the coupon in advance and take reservations over the phone. It's a convenient location in the Fair Oaks Mall upstairs next to Sears. This was one of the better massages I have had. Little direction was needed to find the right pressure and areas that needed attention. Felt great afterward. This is a good place for lovers of deep tissue massage. It's not a place for someone seeking a truly calming spa experience to relax. But they hit all the right muscle groups! read more

This had to be the most miserable massage. The room was cold, the staff was rude, they used an alarm clock to go off loudly when your session is done. When my wife and I left we did not tip them much. They first stopped and said we owe them a bigger tip. We explained it's not the law to tip and how tips work. The guy who massaged my wife came out demanding us to pay more. After a minute, they told us to leave. Then after leaving my wife explains to me that the guy who we just fought with and gave her massage had his phone out during our session. We went to the mall security and reported them. We do not know if he was just a jerk on his phone or if something far worse occurred. We've reported to those who will handle this further. Groupon gave a refund after I told them this and that is it. I am not sure how many people will read this before buying/booking something with this place. My massage therapist at O Chi did a wonderful job with me. For the first time in months, I have full motion and no pain in my shoulder. I could almost cry from the relief I feel. Great deep tissue massage in the middle of the mall. If you're looking for a quick fix, this place is great. I have stopped a couple of times after having a stiff neck or sore back and haven't been disappointed. Very friendly staff. Andy is amazing! He knows exactly where your tension spots are. Recently, I went in with pain in my shoulder and after Andy worked his magic the pain was gone! Worst massage experience I have ever had. I just had a massage done this past Thursday. It was hands down the worst massage experience I have ever had and I have had a lot of massages. First the massage therapist kept walking into the room before I could get undressed and on the table. The therapist also at one point walked out the room during my massage time to speak with another customer...leaving the door to my room wide open with me laying on the table partially exposed. She also repeatedly removed the sheet that was meant to cover me in a completely inappropriate manner, leaving me inappropriately uncovered (something I have never had a massage therapist do). She also repeatedly disregarded the areas I asked her not to massage and did not focus properly on the areas I mentioned were areas I needed her to focus on. I went here yesterday and I've had the worst experience ever. The woman who massaged me had a very bad cold and kept coughing and sneezing. She also could not massage correctly and used an old smelly oil. I would rather get a massage from my cat. Also, the door does not close all the way and she kept opening the door to hand things to other massagers. I had a very unsanitary experience and they demanded that I pay 18% tip. Honestly, the worst massage I've ever had. Went for the Groupon couples massage and must have gotten the wrong masseuse. My boyfriend got a female masseuse and his experience was fine. Mine seemed to be the owner. He was too hard, fast, and rushed, even for deep tissue. And I've had many over my life. This was bad. Even after I said "ow!" and "too hard" several times to him, he didn't adjust and didn't really seem to care. I told him afterwards that it was too fast and rough, and he was completely non-apathetic. And then asked for tips. Mistake to go - I feel awful. read more

I had a trapped nerve in my shoulder and just popped in while I was in the mall to see if was any good. I did a 45 minute table massage with Lucy. I was very pleasantly surprised how good it was. Unlike a lot of the reflexology places, she actually listened to my issue and really spent a good amount of time loosening my shoulder up.
