Do yourself a favor; avoid the call to John Camp. He has an excuse for everything. It's like having a teenager again. It's a year into our landscaping project and it's not done and John has bailed on the job. Let me say our yard was a disaster of fill to begin with. But John was not knowledgeable enough to deal with the drainage issues or plant a lawn. Nor was he able to design gardens. He should not have taken on a project to big for him. He talks nicely but he puts the job off and never shows up. We were extremely patient with all of his many excuses never once demanding of his time. As a matter of fact I was out designing, shopping and digging and planting just to move the job along. What did I pay for? Today, the lawn that John planted is 70% clover not at all as he promised. And the lawn at best is sparse not full as was expected. The erosion that occurred over the winter was not expected and he claims not his fault. Therefore we have a pile of dirt at the bottom of a bank blocking our drainage. He has the nerve to come come back and discuss work to be done from last year at no charge; then he does the over seed and he over charges and whines when we call him out. Not only does he whine but but he curses at my husband who has been nothing but patient with the lack of professionalism John Camp has demonstrated through out this job. John left feeling he was slighted. However he was over paid for a job not completed. Don't let this be you. read more
