Beware of using them! you have to know tree language first..pruning, trimming, cutting, cleaning etc. Walter quoted 4 of 6 trees and got 4 wrong......couldn't even do one tree. Walter lied about the work and what they did..no before and after...doesn't even look like work was performed....Walter didn't do one thing he agreed...he was going to make an appointment to come talk to me but just showed up...contacted company by phone and email with no response...apparently Walter is the only one to talk too and in charge. I woke up Friday morning to find a tree along the side of my driveway leaning precariously across the driveway heading towards the power lines to my home. Some research and found Six Diamonds. They came Saturday morning to view my problem. While here, we saw other trees that either should come down or at least remove some large branches beginning to grow above my roof. Long story, short - we agreed on which trees would come down and which would have some trimming of branches. They came, as promised, Sunday morning around 8ish. They brought a wood chipper and a bucket truck and immediately began the work. Within 3 short hours the work was done. This included loading all the tree logs into their truck, and cleaning all the wood chips/sawdust from the property. It was an amazing thing to watch. This job required lots of tree removals and significant tree trimming to restore our lake view, and protect our home during storms. Walter and crew were extremely professional and efficient. Helped me get a quick wood delivery set up after the cold snap which was really appreciated. The driver was friendly and accommodated my requested drop location. Though it's all burnable, a lot of wood in our pile is significantly larger than the 16" we were told (our max capacity is 19") and a lot of the logs are just massive in diameter, so we have a lot of chopping to do. We needed 3 ash trees taken down in our front yard and we chose Six Diamonds. We did get some quotes from other places, some higher estimates, some lower but money isn't everything! Six Diamonds impressed me the most with their reviews and website. We are SO HAPPY we chose them. The crew came on the day as scheduled, even though there was the threat of rain (and inevitably starting raining while they were here). They came prepared with various types of trucks and about 10 men. These men worked their tails off the entire time!! For 3 large trees, these guys worked like a well oiled machine. Chain saws, chippers, rakes, skid steers...you name it, they were on top of it. No one stopped moving the entire time until the job was done. They picked up every little stick, cleaned up every chip in the street and every log went into a truck. By the time it was all over, you would never have believed all the work that had been done because these guys did an amazing job! I would highly recommend. Now you see them, now you don't. A large Tulip tree, large Oak and fairly large Ash tree, were prioritized as in need of removal. Our property has a number of trees, but these three were the most likely to cause immediate issues over the winter. Walter was helpful and, educational, especially since what I know about tree's you could fit in a thimble. He and his crew showed up with 5 trucks, a team of 5, and they did s spectacular job. Seeing them climb up so high and remove a tree by cutting it where it stands and lower it to the ground instead of felling it was amazing to watch. This is the second time we've used Six Diamonds for tree work at our house. Manny & his crew are professional, fair priced, punctual, efficient & kind. The women who answer the phones in the office are very knowledgeable about the work that is done out in the field & are great with follow up phone calls. I've only used this company for non emergency work & never had any problems with scheduling. My friend referred them to me because she was happy with their response & prices for emergency work. On this last visit, we had 5 trees cut down, 16 stumps ground & 4 very large branches cut off trees. The guys got it done in half a day. Their prices are good and they work fast, but they left a disaster! behind. I had them come to remove my hedges, grind their roots and cut back some trees. They started by kicking down my gate so they would have room to get their machinery in. They pulled down the fence I had in front of my hedges. Perhaps they had to, but I had asked them not to because I needed to be able to let my dog out. Well they pulled all fencing down that was by the hedges, and just threw it wherever it landed (100 feet of fencing strewn all over my yard). When they did my trees, I went to check things out. They had already cut down a limb I had asked them to leave and were starting on another one. They left my yard a mess and I had to get rid of the mess and put back all the things they had moved alone. The funniest thing is, they are cutting down my neighbor's tree right now and they are using my yard to get to it. They just kicked down the remaining post. I am getting an estimate to replace the fencing. I don't expect them to pay for that even though it wouldn't have been necessary if they hadn't pulled out my other fence, but I am going to ask them to pay for the replacement gate. Would -definitely- hire again. Highly professional, called immediately, came out for an estimate, scheduled job and did it in no time. We had a pine tree tight against the house and wires, and a huge dying maple in the front yard. Manny said his crew of seven would take out the trees and stumps, and they did a fast, careful job. They cut both trees at the same time, chipped as they went, ground out the stumps and left the place clean. A sidenote - I like the way Manny worked with his crew.
