Called Anthony and setup appointment within a couple hours, showed up and was helped right away. Mechanic was super helpful and able to get me out in less than 20 min. Third generation, in business since 1919 so they are experts at it. Tires? The correct brand for your vehicle at the right price. I sent a friend once for four tires. He had to shop the price, and did get his 4 tires at $2 cheaper a piece.! Plus $100 for 4 wheel alignment. He wasn't too happy when I said Reliable would have aligned his vehicle free with the four new tires. So five stars, after decades of excellent service they deserve the best all round rating. read more

Reliable tire? NOT AT ALL. DO NOT GO HERE! I've been trying to get my car checked for about a week now and ANTHONY has just been giving us the run around and saying he sent the mechanic home early... it was 3pm on a Friday.. you close at 4 ok cool, he tells us come Monday the mechanic will be here... come Monday I get there around 2pm and ANTHONY says he sent the mechanic home early AGAIN!!! I did my homework before choosing Reliable Tire, and found their prices to be very competitive, even with the chains. My experience with them was courteous and efficient- they stuck to the price I was quoted without any "surprises", and before I knew it, I had new tires on my car. In May 2014, I went for a 4 wheel tire changeover from Winter to summer. I specifically asked for a " 4 wheel change over and balancing" . I found out balancing was not done because my steering start wobbling soon after I start driving. I also sent my girlfriend to fix a nail in a tire. She complained the mechanic was not listing to her. They pull a nail out of a different tire and totally ignore the tire my girlfriend was pointing out. In short, this shop needs to pay attention to details and listen to their customers. My recommendation: lower your expectation. Two times of being disappointed, due to poor listening skills it two, too many. I hope they can take some training in customer service, and have a senior mechanic look over all work before handing the keys back to the owner. I truly would like to see Reliable Auto Tire Co Inc, stay in business, and hope this post will trigger a team meeting to find ways to meet and exceed customer expectations. Good Luck !! read more

Updated Dec 11, 2012. I jumped the gun a bit on my Nov 28, 2012 review - changing from 5 to 3 stars. After driving my wife's car again with some extended time on the highway, I realized the tires were not balanced correctly. I called Anthony, set an appointment, and he had the front tires rebalanced as soon as I arrived. The employee who changed and balanced the tires originally was a young guy - the one who rebalanced the front tires was an older guy. Story was the young guy made some mistake - wasn't clear - sounded like some excuse for a lousy job. I was told everything was all set, even though only the fronts were rebalanced. I asked about the rear tires but was told they should be ok - so since they had been very nice and efficient on the front rebalance I left and checked things out. Well as far as I could tell now with the front tires corrected, the rear ones needed a rebalance too so back I went about an hour later. They were very nice and promptly rebalanced the rear tires (same older employee) and after a good drive on the highway they now seemed to be correct. I'll do another update if I find something otherwise. Nov 28, 2012. I agree completely with the other two reviews. Purchased a set of tires a couple of days ago Monday Nov 26, 2012 - Anthony takes great care of you. The most positive experience I can remember. I arrived at our prearranged time and was done in an hour. The price charged was as quoted a few days earlier without a single penny added.
