But then when the branch that I banked at closed, after a couple years the new location decided to start charging me for the safety deposit box because I changed the location of my safety deposit box, and I might add NOT through a choice of my own. And even the reduced $25 fee was too high but when I complained online somewhere they did reimburse me for it but I don't know what they're going to do next time the annual fee rolls around and if they will charge me the full fee because I was never once told that the grandfather clause was rescinded! I was clearly told they were charging me because I changed the location of my safety deposit box! And then they decided to start charging $30 to get 60 checks and an additional somewhere around $15 for shipping and handling so I could no longer afford that. And then without even asking or telling me, they changed me to Everyday Banking because I could no longer maintain their minimum daily balance of $1,500. I am retired. And now all of a sudden because I can't maintain a $1,500 daily balance, they will start charging me $15 a month for my checking account. I can't afford them anymore.

He built strong relationships with members and was the top-performing teller in his branch. Despite all of this, he was let go for being late three times -- each instance by about six minutes. There was no pattern of poor performance, no history of misconduct, and no consideration given to the overwhelming value he brought to the team and the members he served. The decision shows a complete lack of appreciation for loyalty, work ethic, and dedication. For an organization that promotes community values and member relationships, this treatment of a reliable and high-performing employee is deeply disappointing and feels unethical. It sends a clear message that hard work and commitment mean very little here. Anyone considering working for Skyla Credit Union should be aware of how quickly and unfairly you can be discarded, regardless of your performance or dedication. Once we were done, I still had another transaction to do that required me to go up to a teller. The manager was walking around and saw that I was waiting and he had no problem in helping me out himself. Everyone is super polite. It was not busy at all and was in and out in minutes. The Bank's Vestibule contains the "Smart ATM's" - which dispense various denominations of US Cash; this can be very helpful; - Unfortunately - for obvious safety reasons - the Vestibule is only open during normal banking hours. I guess they want to avoid homeless and "Undesirables" sleeping inside the vestibule. No worries, there is a well-lighted drive up ATM where you can conduct virtually all your banking.
