Been forced to use them for about a year now due to the payments for the machine. Mask fit has been a huge problem, so instead of coming to help they just kept sending me others "to try" at great expense. It took several weeks of calling to even just get someone to LISTEN about the ridiculous pressure blowing the mask loose and constantly waking me up with this leafblower in my face. They were, and are, however, very good at telling me that I am not complying with the rules (my machine says I do) and refuse to send out a new mask unless I pay for it myself, almost $200. Instead of helping to finally fix the problem they just keep penalizing, and now I habe to use a worn out, leaky mask for another two weeks and suffer through every night just to be compliant. One more payment to own the machine and I will give my PCP hell if she doesn't find me a better company whose staff will actually be inclined to help. I had to pay for filters for the SoClean (not part of covered supplies) but was informed that orders under $50 will cost me an exorbidant $10 shipping, so I ordered two packs of filters. They sent me one pack and charged the $10. What company is THIS non-responsive AND stays in business? Terrible, terrible, terrible!!! read more

This is will be the second time I will be sending my C-Pap machine back. The air leaks wake me up. I called to order a mask. However, I can't because I am not due to October. I said I'm having leaks all the time. She sent me to compliance. I remembered why I sent it back to begin with. I know how to tighten mask. I run air mask every night, it says perfect. If it wakes me leaks, and I see a red face on the machine it is NOT A GOOD FIT. The gentleman in compliance told me to wear socks on my hands so I don't touch mask. Seriously? It wakes me because it is leaking. On my second mask from when I got the machine. He said I could pay for one out of pocket? Really, I can. Send me an a return label and take the product back. Reliable Respiratory is marketing a CPAP cleaning device to its clients which is an indoor health hazard. This is not my opinion - feel free to check out the CT Dept of Public Health fact sheet, which can be found at www.ct.gov/dph/lib/dph/environmental_health/eoha/pdf/ozone_generator_fact_sheet.pdf. CPAP users have a condition which make them a vulnerable to respiratory issues. As such, marketing a device which is bad for the lungs (and the environment) is completely irresponsible and inconsistent with their charge to look out for the best interests of the population that Reliable Respiratory is supposed to be serving. GO TO ANY OTHER COMPANY for C-pap services. When my husband received his machine the beginning of March, there was no assistance setting it up. After numerous phone calls with no callback, we finally spoke with Dan at the end of March, who was helpful. Come to find out after a month, he was trying to use it incorrectly. Still had problems with it. After several more calls not returned, we learned they were supposed to have helped us over the phone to set it up before he ever started using it. At that point, they offered to send someone out to our home to help him get acclimated. Our meeting with Cheryl on May 5th was very helpful - she gave him a different mask and he was finally able to have some success. Out of the blue we received a call a week later demanding he return the machine. No other options and ALOT of money out the window for NOTHING. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!! read more

Reliable Respiratory does a very good job of following what Insurance Companies Policies are and for me that means they do a good service, if you are aware of your insurance and it's policies. They have a system set up with ResMed that I like very much (MYAIR) for continued daily stats on therapy. My sleep neurologist's technician recommended RR to me. They are 1000% better then the CPAP supplier I previously used. I have used them for a few years. They are willing to bill me and I send back a check, rather than insisting I have a credit card on file. They were also my supplier when I replaced my first CPAP, the billing and shipping for the second one went seamlessly. They have online resupply reminders and you can tailor which supplies you want shipped depending on what you coverages are. Thanks RR read more

The idea that their name is "Reliable Respiratory" is a sick joke. I first used them in December of 2016. Even though this was my first time using them, they somehow mailed my cpap machine to my ex-wife's house- 5 years after I stopped living there. Three emails to Kaitlin went unanswered. Then, a few weeks ago, I ordered some supplies. After three weeks of waiting, I called to follow up. "We have no record of your order. Would you like to place a new order?" I have had several other similar experiences with "Reliable" Respiratory. Completely incompetent. I HATE them. read more

I have used this company for years & never had a problem with them. The customer service reps are all very helpful & always answer my questions. If they dont know something they send me to a rep that does. I appreciate it when someone doesnt know something, that they tell you & will then direct you to someone that can answer your questions better. read more

After being prescribed by my doctor to use a CPAP machine, I utilized 3 different providers and was unhappy with all of them. Then, I discovered Reliable Respiratory and, for the past 2 years, I have been well served. Omar spent time with me; we discovered a better mask and a better size. I had been buying supplies here for the last two years. Most recently, when I got new supplies, they told me I have full insurance coverage, and I should get all the supplies.. which I did.. only a month later I realize a significant credit card charge on my card. I called them to cancel it and asked them to charge me on my health care savings account. In the meantime, they reported it to a collection agency... this is TOTAL lousy business practice. First, they gave a wrong estimate and charged me without consulting me; they reported to the collection agent. Terrible. I have been working with Reliable Respiratory for a while and have found the service to be outstanding. When the shipper sent the wrong mask, Reliable followed up immediately with expedited shipping at no charge. In addition, the folks at Reliable are knowledgeable and service oriented. My only concern is that while some other providers allow a 30 day trial (or mini-CPAPs), Reliable has chosen not to do so (though apparently the manufacturers allow such returns). read more

UPDATE: I received a nice call from Joe McDermott on Monday who put me in direct contact with the right person at both my doctors and Reliable to expedite this process. It turns out I need a new sleep study for compliance. Joe's contact person has bee very helpful and I would give 5 stars but I want to be sure everything goes as planned and I finally have my new machine in hand. I am having a terrible time with Reliable; My sleep clinic forwarded a prescription to them for a new BiPap machine. I subsequently called them to see what else I had to do. I received a phone call back the next day. The lady was nice enough, but she seemed overly concerned that the BIPap would not be covered. I had preciously checked with my insurer and they said it was covered for 90%. She wanted me to get a reference # from my insurer and then call back. I did that and called back on two different occasions and left message but the calls were never returned. I also attempted to contact them through their website, but still no response. I am at a lost, usually a lot of respiratory vendors have terrible service. Reliable had some glowing comments from consumers, so I tried to give them a chance. I would have emailed a Corporate Executive with Reliable, but could not find anyone to email. I don't really know if I should do next. read more

I am using Reliable Respiratory for resupply. They put me on their plan which calls when you need to order supplies. They called me three months ago, told me that I am eligible to receive my resupply through my insurance, and they ordered the supplies. The next day they called and said they made a mistake and that I wasn't eligible and had to wait another three months. They just called to resupply me with just three months of supplies. I asked why not six, and they said I was eligible to resupply every three months. I asked why they told me the opposite three months ago, and they said they must have made a mistake. So, from their mistake, I lose out on my medical supplies. Not very "reliable". I would seek other services if possible. read more

When my first Yelp went out the tech guy called me, the last time I emailed him with a question he never got back to me. If you were to remove the insurance issue, we could look at the being human beings side of this; If someone gets a MEDICAL machine from you it's probably because they need it, no? Considering the fact that when most medical devices are returned, they are thrown out, why wouldn't another human being not feel anything or try to help when taking a MEDICAL device away without assisting a customer with next steps? I have to say that Reliable Respiratory (Norwood, MA) lives up to its name. I'm having surgery on Monday, and will be in the hospital, overnight, for a few nights. I need to use a CPAP machine to breathe as I sleep, as i have obstructive sleep apnea.My CPAP fell on floor the night before last, and wouldn't restart. I spoke with an angel, named Pam. She troubleshot with me for awhile, but to no avail. She told me she'd call me back to find out how to proceed, especially since my surgery is Monday. My machine is under warranty as it turns out, and I'll get my new one tomorrow. I am so grateful! read more

Reliable Respiratory is convenient because you don't have to drive into Boston but they really aren't well managed and their customer service is poor. They are very rigid when it comes to scheduling appointments and they won't bend. When they ship your supplies to the wrong address, they don't make any effort to track the package or offer any assistance so you are on your own. They don't return phone calls when you call with a question and they give the cheapest possible supplies. If you are low maintenance, you will be ok but if you need help, you should find another supplier. read more

They have provided SUPERIOR customer service - answering questions on their equipment, settings, and interpretation of data.
