The amount of appreciation AND TRUST I have for the Reliable Restoration team is incalculable. In the midst of a water damage situation, that had the potential to be chaotic and confusing, this team swooped in like heroes of old and in a streamlined, coordinated effort alleviated it with their professionalism, exemplary communication and superior quality of work. Honestly, 5 Stars isn't enough to accurately reflect my experience. I discovered I had a leak under my kitchen sink that I didn't know was happening until I saw water on the outside foundation. I immediately scheduled the plumber come out to fix the leak. Since it was unclear how long it had been leaking, I was very concerned about the full extent of the damage and since I'd never experienced anything like this before, was quite anxious about how I needed to manage and deal with this situation. My plumber reached out to Reliable Restoration on my behalf and within an hour Jolan, my Project Manager was in my home assessing the situation, talking me through what was happening and laying out a path forward. His level of expertise, experience, and delivery of communication, in very short order put me into a total state of calm that, given the unknown elements and full extent of damage at that time, was rather extraordinary. Within 90 minutes of Jolans arrival a crew was at my home with dehumidifiers and air purification equipment. First thing the next morning the specialty countertop professionals arrived to remove the countertop and sink over and around the affected area. It was a tricky job due to my countertop composition and how it was attached to the cabinets and to my tile backsplash. It required precision and patience and they did an fantastic job to ensure it was safely removed with no damage to tiles. Shortly thereafter, Omar and Leo arrived to remove the damaged cabinets, flooring, drywall and insulation. They did such outstanding work with the removal itself, including their thorough analysis of the moisture levels to ensure all wet materials were identified and removed then set up additional fans to ensure that with the dehumidifiers any residual moisture would be extracted. By the following day, Jolan had the plumbers back out here installing a temporary kitchen sink. There were a couple more visits to check on moisture levels while the fans and humidifiers extracting any residual moisture. Once the moisture levels were normal and the equipment was removed, Jolan was then able to hand me over to their restoration team so we can begin the repair and restoration work. The way in which Jolan and this mitigation team worked together in such a calculated and efficient manor was incredible. The level of expertise, communication, professionalism and the superb execution and quality of skill of this entire team was nothing short of stellar. First Ivan Aguillon and Angelo Sira came in to prepare my unit for mitigation. I was worried about dust... there's always dust. Ivan said, you won't have any dust! He was right. They did a beautiful, neat set up (photo). Then Luis Suarez and Elvia Capitillo came back three days later to take everything out. They helped me move met desk back, and left the beautiful plastic screen up so the next phase (repair of the sheetrock) could take place inside of the plastic. No dust. And it was dry, drier than the control wall. There's always dust, I've found dust inside my shoes in a sealed closet. No dust. Professional, friendly, efficient. I realized I had a problem with my plumbing when I heard water running behind the wall and into the crawlspace. Plumber was able to come out on a Saturday and assess the situation. He advised to contact Reliable Restoration due to the water and mitigation would be necessary. He recommended Reliable. They came out on that Saturday and went through all of the steps that were going to need to happen. Reliable was here on Sunday ripping up flooring, ripping out the vanity and taking out part of the wall to find the source of the leak. They left their equipment to dry out the floor and crawlspace for 3 days. On that first Saturday it was advised they would be cleaning out the crawl space and putting down a new vapor barrier. 4 and and 1/2 weeks now, and this part of the job has been completed. David and Ricardo came today. They worked about 5 to 6 hours removing all of the stuff in the crawl space and putting down the barrier. Coulsnt be happier with this part of the job. They were awesome. Still waiting on the bathroom to be put back together. ‍ read more

do not use this company. had the most horrific experience and would not want anyone else to have this same experience. yes, they come and act as if they are out for your best interest, but they are beyond incompetent. things were missing that i could never get a response to, they redelivered items that were to be disposed, and took days and many phone calls to come get those items. especially do NOT use for your renovation - they are all about getting your money up front, act as if they are doing you a HUGE favor, they hire subs that are nonEnglish speaking (which would be fine if the Project Manager was actually there to show them what to do) so you end up being the PM. Had a sub walk in on me in my bedroom at 7:45 am when i was told he would not be there until the afternoon. and they overcharge for everything - all about the money. the communication is beyond horrible. read more

The first guy that came out was very responsive and wonderful. They got our $7,000 for the mitigation and restoration and completely dropped off the face of the earth before finishing the work. It has been 2.5 months and it still is not complete. The owner, Renee, is non-responsive to emails or voicemails. Their staff is also non-responsive. Renee was very responsive however when it came time to collect all the money up front. On top of the $7,000, we also paid over $3,000 as a "deposit" before they would even speak to us about re-doing the floors. That was on Feb 16th. It is now 2 months later and not one single thing has been started for the flooring project. Every time I email or call the office, I get the run around from everyone. And every time, I am told someone will reach out to me. They never do. We should've never paid them before the work was started or completed. Red flag. Lesson learned. Save yourself time and money and use a different company that is actually "reliable". read more

True LACK of responsiveness, even with people who suffered flood and have their water completely cut-off. After the first phone call (which I think I only got because my plumber knew someone there), was days on end before hearing again. Not flexible in trying to get out to my home, wouldn't return phone calls. Would text and I would immediately try to call and they would put me right to voicemail. Simply AWFUL! PLEASE don't bother. If I could give zero stars I would. We had a slow leak in the master bath that we were unaware of. When we had a plumber come out and fix it, he recommended Reliable Restoration. They were pretty quick to come and get everything dried out for us. Although they took 3 days longer than they said... well, they actually said there was no one to come and get the equipment so it stayed on for those 3 extra days. It took forever to get someone to come and start the work on our master bath. Once they started they worked fairly quickly, but said they couldn't put in the vanity we selected because it was the wrong size. They gave us the dimensions soooo not sure about that. For the new light fixture they did not fill in the hole left by the old fixture. So now there's a hole next to the new light fixture which just looks fantastic. And when they painted they didn't remove the light switch covers so there are drips on those. They installed a towel rack directly above the electrical outlet so when I need to use that outlet I have to take the towel down. We selected a patterned tile and they put in a piece upside down, which I had to tell them about for them to correct. Selected beveled subway tile for the bath and the grout work is absolutely HORRIBLE. As in I've never seen worse. Completely uneven. I asked them to fix it and they worked on it some but still was not good at all. When the owner came to inspect the work she agreed that it was bad. They were supposed to come back and fix it, never showed. Never called, nothing. Oh, and they didn't seal the grout either so now it's cracking. Great. Will NEVER use them again. Will NEVER recommend them to anyone. Horrible all around. read more

They were great with getting out here and getting the water cleaned n dried up. They communication is good but could be better. Just make sure you check everything for any kinda damages that could've been done. They put a hole into bathroom door while putting in the equipment to dry out everything but refused to pay for a new door after I just had that door put in less then a year ago! Now as far as the construction part of the side of the company they were the worse! I've never seen someone so unorganized and unprofessional as I did with that side of thee company. The people they had here doing the work spoke no English, lazy, late everyday or would say going to lunch and never show back up! Excellent response time to an emergency water situation in July. Showed up within hours of initial call and began drying process. The next phase of the restoration created some frustration as there was a lapse of communication/ several emails and phone calls to office with promises of Brandon getting ready to call.... When we finally hear from the PM, he says "well I can't move forward until you've signed the contract" great! We are happy to sign and move forward but no one told us there was more paperwork than what was originally signed! Finally got the contrwct- signed and work continued Final phase of restoration went as promised and the home is back to original condition! Thanks reliable! We had one of those "oh no" moments at our home. A water line connected to our dishwasher broke. Imagine coming home to a floor full of water. Not the most pleasant experience at the end of a long week. A friend recommended Reliable Restoration. I contacted them at 7 pm on a Friday night. Nathan came out and got to work extracting water from our first floor. After setting air mover fans and commercial dehumidifiers; the team completed their work. Over the next 5 days, a technician stopped by to monitor the equipment and take some type of readings to ensure the wood flooring was drying properly. The end result was fantastic. Reliable saved our wood floors. Shout out to Wes (the owner) for helping us navigate the insurance process. Without his help, I'm certain our carrier would have been very difficult to work with. Did a fairly detailed inspection and told me will get back to me the next day with more info. I waited 3 days no response. Called him and texted him several times over the next 2 days. No response whatsoever. Over a week after the estimate with no response I called the office and provided them with name of the guy who came by and explained the situation. The lady on the phone was apologetic and took my information again and told me someone will definitely reach out to me latest by the next day. And of course another 2 weeks passed. I would give 0 stars if possible. We had an absolutely awful experience with a minor water leak. Was charged what equated to $300 / hour for work that was sloppily done. The Reliable team will attempt to create enough urgency around what are otherwise minor problems that you will open an insurance claim and they will fleece your insurance provider. My job required i) drying out a crawl space from a slow water leak, ii) minor mold remediation and iii) a new vapor barrier throughout my crawl space. Reliable first refused to leave the dehumidifier in my crawl space for the requisite amount of time to functionally dry the space. After 4 days, I was told I would be charged an extra $350+ for another 5 days. The mold was remediated, but I was told that as the impacted area wasn't dry, it would only come back in a few days. A vapor barrier was hastily put down, not secured and did not appropriately cover the cinderblock sides of the crawl space. Finally, once the dehumidifier was removed from the crawl space, the glass window that had been removed under my porch to allow an exit for the blower fan, was not replaced. This created a rather large opening for 2 weeks before I realized that the crawl space had not been sealed off. In that time rodents made their home and a mess in my crawl space. I would run (not walk) away from Reliable Restoration. Their business model is borderline criminal. P.S. - The hero in this story is the neighbor's cat who took care of the rodents before they did too much damage. Thanks Mr. Kitten! read more

Reliable Restoration team responded quickly and after thoroughly explaining all the steps needed to mitigate the problem started the work. This company is very bad. Do not use them. They lie, drive up the estimate to the extreme, don't show up for days, and hire people from day work agencies to do the work, and leave them unsupervised. They don't clean up their mess. I used them for a large restoration job and it was a nightmare. They take people's belongings and store them in a warehouse and say they were disposed of, leaving the client to claim it on their insurance claim. Of course, the insurance co. depreciates items so much that you do not get near enough to replace your belongings. And they know this. They are dishonest. Would not recommend to an enemy. Reliable did a great job coming in immediately and helping medicate water damage caused by a pipe break in my condo. Since they weren't a "preferred" vendor of my insurance company I was a little afraid of using them. But Reliable did an awesome job of documenting and taking pictures of EVERYTHING during the process. They did such a good job that my insurance carrier "ok'ed" the expenses almost immediately. On March 2019 we had a sewer overflow in a commercial building. Reliable was recommended by the plumbing company as water came up in another area within the office space and we were concerned about contamination for people. The team arrived and instead of doing an assessment of any contaminated area they started ripping out all the carpet and baseboard without coordinating with the client on the level of contamination or what they planned to do. The client was notified when they just started ripping out everything. Continuously asked for meter readings to indicated contamination but never received until all the rip out was done and were instructed by client to cease. Another respected contamination company that came in to work on the project said that none of the baseboards had to come out and probably a carpet cleaning specializing in sanitary cleaning could have cleaned the carpet. However, Reliable charge an hefty price and caused a huge amount of other cost to restore as in replacing carpet and baseboard as the didn't even try to remove them with care. I wish I could give this company a terrific review, but I cannot. I wish I could - because everyone I dealt with on a personal basis was polite, but I cannot, because we've had a pretty rotten experience with them. Following a plumbing disaster, our insurance company gave us a budget to tear down and rebuild two bathrooms. Reliable came in promptly for the teardown, BUT even though I asked, pleaded and insisted that the teardown not proceed until a build plan was in place, that's what happened (and yes, I understand my own responsiblity in this). Now, it's FOUR MONTHS later and my two bathrooms are still unusable. AND - make sure you ask for and receive an itemized bill. Our first bill (for the teardown) was sent as a lump sum. After I insisted on an itemized bill, several items were found that didn't even happen - and they agreed. Final tally was $800 less. So. Be careful, very careful, with these guys. The communications between their Tear down side and their ReBuild side is awful. read more
