I can't even begin to tell you how beautiful this campus is. I'm not sure who the pastor was but he was extremely charismatic. It's always great to hear about the word of God. We've been blessed to find a close-knit community that's so welcoming and warm to new visitors. I remember being greeted by many members upon our first visit and being invited to lunch after service. Three years later, I've made really close friends at the church and have felt so supported and cared for, especially during hard times when my family was dealing with some medical issues. The pastors deliver thought-provoking, academic sermons that have relatable takeaways and applications to everyday life. The church has so many excellent ministries that involve mission work, youth group, bible study and more. For a small church, there are so many different events that there are plenty of opportunities to grow your faith, connect with others and bless the community through volunteering. I'm so thankful we've found Lifesong. It's been a blessing in our lives and has helped us live more Christ centered lives.

Between Masses, I approached Father Uche Onyekwelu and, in need of consolation, shared the current turmoil in my life. Father Uche listened intently and offered me exactly the comfort and blessing I needed. He truly has a special soul. Throughout the liturgical celebration, he continued to impress me with his joy and his heartfelt interpretation of Scripture during the homily. I am already looking forward to hearing more of his sermons. Celebrating 14 years of his priesthood, it's easy to see why this parish is so full -- Father Uche fills hearts, minds, and souls with the love and words of Christ. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect what we expected. When we arrived, we did not receive any greeting or warm welcome. This stood out to us because at my home church, even though it is two hours away, visitors are usually greeted and made to feel comfortable right away. Several staff members appeared to notice us, and I observed one gentleman wearing a badge walk past us multiple times, but no one acknowledged or welcomed us. The atmosphere also felt different from what we had seen represented online, and we quickly began to feel uncomfortable. Between the lack of greeting, the cold stares, and the overall unwelcoming feeling, we decided to leave before the service even began. Even as we were leaving the parking lot, we were cut off, which unfortunately reinforced that this was not the right place for us. We ended up visiting Lifesong Church afterward and had the complete opposite experience. I hope this feedback is received constructively, because for first-time visitors, a simple welcome can make all the difference.

Until he passed away last year, that's how I experienced this church and what it has done for me and my family. I reached out to Crosspoint while my father was in the hospital, and they were quick to respond. They were genuine and sincere with their prayers. My family and I felt the warmth and sincerity through their hospital visits. When they officiated my father's funeral, they took care of the service. From creating the agenda to leading worship, they were thorough. I joined the worship team two months after my dad passed, and I am so thankful I did. No one is perfect, but I can say that this church is helping me grow in my faith through the word and the church body. I am so thankful my father introduced me to this church.

Pastor David Rosales is truly a man of God, and the Lord uses him as a mouthpiece to share and lead people to Jesus. It's not too far from my regular fellowship, and I am super blessed to be able to join events here. The church is always really clean inside and out.
