Rented a one bed/one bath small house, there in town. Was able to schedule to view the property before deciding to apply to rent. The property was modest (nothing fancy) but the price was within my budget. At first glance it looked promising. Then I applied, paid the deposit and first month's rent, and got keys to the property. I was moving from out of town and the initial paperwork phase went quite smoothly. Once I got moved in, I realized the property had a few big issues. Immediately had to reach out to Coldwell to get their maintenance team out to do repairs and get the house inhabitable. That took a conscious effort and repeated phone calls and significant time. Not enjoyable when I just put down good money, moved from a long distance, and was hopeful that I could enjoy my new home. After weeks and weeks, eventually got the repairs completed, and house was finally in liveable condition. Down the road new issues came up that needed addressing as well. Overall, felt like a constant battle to get things done through the management team. I think at some point their team changed hands, and then I was having to deal with a whole new set of people and explain things all over again. Also, I got some attitude from a couple of different staff members at their office, which was disappointing. In preparation to move out I had to pay for multiple cleaning services and provide receipts of the cleanings. Even after doing so, they still decided to dip into my deposit and provide me with only a partial reimbursement of it. Overall, felt like this entire renting effort was more a challenge than necessary. If I were to have stayed in the area, would have found pretty much anywhere else to rent from. Renter, beware. That is all.

She expects you to analyze the lease with absolute perfection. My pregnant friend was extremely stressed out about the move out process. She was very picky about when the utilities needed to be turned off. I would 10 out of 10 NOT recommend military deal with her.

I worked for this company with its previous owner and it was never like this. I always felt as if they worked for the tenants, but after reading the review from Justin, it seems as if they only worked for themselves. We had a tenant that took it upon himself to change out the shower heads and move cabinets without permission from Alamogordo Realty or myself and when this tenant moved out, they never charged him. And I totally agree with Justin's review, the problem is Rosie. She lies to cover her own ass and when you call her out on her lie, she just ignores it and changes the subject. Also like the review from Ana also states, as an owner from out of state, they do take advantage of that and just expect you to pay up and not look into things.
