Relic Iron mainly focuses on maintaining and restoring older bikes, but they've got the knowledge and skill to handle modern and custom Harleys just as well. Johnny Galvan is a vintage motorcycle expert. In addition to having extensive knowledge he is very professional, organized, and meticulous with his work. I brought my 1971 Harley Davidson shovelhead for a full ground up rebuild and custom job to Johnny. I brought my 1948 panhead to Johnny at Relic Iron Motorcycle knowing there were some issues with my bike. It wouldnt shift right and was leaking out the heads pretty bad, I was under the impression my pan was going to need a rebuild but wanted the advise of a professional. After going through my scooter Johnny provided a list of major issues, potential issues and things to think about. He gave advise and left all final decisions to me. In the end I had him go through the bike and do a complete rebuild as that's what was needed to restore my pan to its original luster and peak performance. Can I give this place 10 stars??? I took them a motorcycle that is rare and somewhat complicated in its simplicity. My Ural 2007 Retro. I had not ridden in over a year and taking it to another state for service was not an option. I found this place out of sheer frustration - and wow - I will never take it to anyone else again! No more backfiring, no more issues finding reverse, no more gas leak, no more headaches finding neutral - NOTHING! I am not mechanical - so even when the blogs tried to assist me...
