They do good work. They always get me in and out quickly and are always very nice. If you ever need work done I would recommend this shop.

This shop and these guys are great- they are usually busy and still saw me within a day or two of my call-- and had my bike out of there with new tires just one day later. They're never hesitant to help walk you through a fix and see some alternatives. It's a clean, organized garage and you can tell that they have a passion for motorcycles. I generally do all my own work on my bikes, but I've used these guys several times over the years. Like me, these guys are lovers of motorcycles and have tons of racing experience, dirt and tarmac. Generally, I spend an hour or so visiting when I stop by, and I'm always struck by the level of service delivered. At times reviews are about the reviewer, not the place itself. I feel I need to write this to correct any thought of not going to Cycle Nation. I'm not experienced with motor cycles or ATV's (at least not in the last 20 years). My kids were gifted a small ATV and it would not run unless I choked the carb with my thumb. After searching of where to take it to get repaired, I was a bit apprehensive about Cycle Nation because if a few reviews. Now I look and see they are old. Don't let that keep you from this place. I called because they are in the neighborhood and could not be happier. He told me over the phone what the issue more than likely would be and told me to bring it on in. He was cool and helpful and when I arrived he even took it off the trailer for me. This is a local brick and mortar business that deserves your business because they are all about service. Don't think twice and go here. If you have questions or need help with motorcycles, ATVS, carts or anything of the like this is the place. I have been going there for years with my bikes. I followed Robbie around town and so sorry about his loss of life. Since then, Larry has always been very helpful and honest with me. My first impression was their manager seemed competent, knowledgable and professional. I was wrong. The manager doesn't know what he's doing, which is bad, but he wastes your time by not communicating his incompetence. He ordered the wrong parts (twice) and the right part he did get in he put on another guys bike. Wasted my time. Don't be fooled. Go anywhere else. read more

Get there they say they are backed up but nobody is in the bay working or other clients are even there. Lie number 1 second tells me they have 190 55 17s and they mount the wrong tire 190 50 17. Even after a long discussion about using OEM tires hahah wow. This was also my first tire change and they scratched my rim all up and told me their was touch up paint on it hahaha really how stupid do you think I am (first tire change bike garage keeped) the rats must have scratched it and put touch up paint on it. Save your money and put forth to a good shop my mistake I will have to live with it. Because if a shop doesn't have integrity or honesty what good are they. read more

They are a step up better than zabors motorcycle. They are helpful and can get the job done, but they still lack social skills. They do have an attitude about themselves and how good they are. They are also pretty expensive, and can make it even more. I front sprocket replacement should cost 25$ on a naked streetfighter, (at team scream), but they want 60$. not a fan, read more

Not impressed, Not recommended. Called to look into having some work on an '83 Honda, said they would not be interested in working on something "that old". Really. Larry said "no one will work on something that old because you fix one thing and another breaks..." So I guess they don't believe in vintage scooters. I looked to find someone local and in the neighborhood to do business with rebuilding an older bike obviously these aren't the guys AND they won't be anywhere I shop or recommend either. I give them 2 stars ONLY because they did manage to get my vintage Honda Magna up and running again. However what started out as a $400 repair job quickly ballooned to $1300! And then, when I get the bike back, it's still not running right and is stalling out and leaking fluids. Take it back and am told that the O rings were bad but they didn't look at that the first time. Well DUH - it doesn't take a rocket scientist (or even a motorcycle mechanic) to know that if a bike has been sitting for 8 years in storage in TX heat, ANYTHING rubber needs to be replaced. Finally, they charged me $29.95 for a $15 inspection and didn't give me an inspection cert so I could register the bike. Bottom line - they saw a blond female and saw a chance to make some serious buck by taking advantage of my ignorance. So while they did ultimately do the job, stay on top of them and have someone who knows something about bikes oversee the work or you will find yourself with a higher bill than you should have. read more

I have had my motorcycle (2000 Kawasaki ZRX1100 streetfighter) serviced here twice, both times for things that I was unable perform myself due to lack of tools for the procedure. Each time the repairs were performed correctly and I felt I was charged a very reasonable price. My first experience was having my front forks rebuilt, I provided the seals and was only charged for fork oil and I think 1.5 hours of labor. The second experience was having my chain and sprockets replaced, wherein I payed less for parts than what I was quoted at Woods Fun and only about 2 hours of labor totaling a very reasonable price for the procedure. The only complaint was we had an issue trying to obtain a set of sprockets similar to what I had been running before they wore out and that ended up making the repair take about a week longer than initially thought (due to waiting for parts), this from what I could tell, was really an issue with the vendor (Vortex) and ultimately did not reflect anything regarding the staff at Cycle Nation. I have referred one of my work cohorts here to have his Buell Firebolt serviced and they have been consistent in providing a good experience and straightforward about the work performed and any potential future maintenance. read more

Been going to these folks for several years now and have always been treated right. As a woman with her own bike, I've been hard pressed to locate a repair shop that'll treat me with respect and honesty. No matter what I've needed done, they've been quick to get the job finished and and have done it right the first time. They are a small shop so sometimes they just don't have the power to get the best price on parts. However, if you can find a better parts deal and you have them do the labor, you'll be very satisfied with the result. read more

I've been around motorcycles and motorcycle shops my whole life since coming to Austin a few years ago ive given all of them a shot once or twice but I think I finally found my go to shop at cycle nation their building is a BIG pain!!! in the A$$ to get in and out up but completely worth doing a few U-turns for The guy at the counter( Larry) I believe, was a professional motorcycle racer and probably the most knowledgeable guy I've ever met at a motorcycle shop, they fixed my bike that three other shops couldn't figure out and we're trying to charge me a ridiculous amount of money just to guess and throw parts at it. they fixed it on the spot before my ride home even showed up and (embarrassingly) explain to me a few things about my bike that I thought I knew but I was completely backwards Larry even went out and adjusted my suspension for me for free and it's never handled so good I definitely recommend this place ps I will bring the strap you guys loan me back I promise LOL read more

I have met the owner of cycle nation a time or two (who is a nice guy as well). All other times, I have talked and worked with Larry. Very knowledgable guy, enjoys discussing the bike (R6) and is always willing to do what he can to get you back on the road as quick as possible.
