It also had seating like those in concerts and ample space for a small events easily fitting about 50 people. There was a representative from WeWork who introduced us to the business model. I was surprised to learn about the number of locations they are at. Will remember them if I ever plan to host an event.

Just today, I was stopping by to pick up a package (I have a remote membership with mail forwarding to this locale), I said "hi, I'm here to pick up a package, it's under (name)" and they looked at me like I had two heads, and said "um, what company do you work for? What's the package for?" which is honestly none of their business (they could look me up by name). They then, without checking, said "we don't have anything, sorry." When I said that the package was noted as "delivered to the mail room" the front desk person mentioned that packages often get delivered to a mail room across the piazza. When I went over to get my package I saw that about 80% of the packages there were for the WeWork. If they know this is a common occurrence, why respond that way? I don't understand. Also, if you know this is a common problem, maybe take the time to pop over there to get those packages and bring them over to where they're supposed to be? I know that's a tall order, but it feels really hollow when you say "yeah this happens at least 3 times a day". Another instance at this location - when I initially stopped by to tour the location (I had made an appointment) - I came in and waited at the front desk for about 10 minutes, no one was there. Someone walked up and sat down at the desk and looked at their computer, not acknowledging me for another 10 minutes, I was the only person at the front desk. At this point, I just decided to walk around and tour things myself. Later on, I got an email from that location saying "hey we didn't see you for your tour!" Like c'mon, if you know that someone is showing up for a tour, for starters, show up where they will be entering, or at least go to the front desk. Second, if you're a front desk person - maybe look up from the computer and at least say "hi"? I feel like this is common sense. There have been a few other times I've used this spot, and each time, zero people at the front desk or 1-2 people that do not look up or notice anything around them. Again, I'm generally pretty happy with my experience with WeWork, but goodness gracious, this locale needs just a small amount of common courtesy and that would make a huge difference. It makes me second guess the monthly investment.

From the beginning, Justin was very communicative and provided a wealth of information on Center City living. It really helps that he lives in the city, too. Even though the early plans to move up there fell through, Justin still stayed in touch with us. This made us feel valuable to him and in turn, we were going to provide him our business when the timing worked out to buy a new home in Philly. A few months ago, we kicked the process into gear again and I flew up to Philly to look at at least ten properties I had researched. Since I did not rent a car, Justin was nice enough to pick me from the hotel and drive us around to the properties. Since my husband wasn't there, Justin offered to take videos of any of the houses and post on Youtube. Three Youtube videos later and we decided on our house. We are currently going through all of the processes associated with purchasing/closing on the house and Justin has been a huge help being that my husband and I are in Arizona. I am extremely happy with the experience we have had with Justin and wouldn't hesitate to refer him to others!

Then we found Allison Fegel, an agent with the Philly Home Girls team, who worked with us to overcome that obstacle. We looked online and when we found a listing that seemed to fit, Allison took us on a virtual tour of the property. She even went through one property with us measuring walls and shelves and cabinets! Her expertise and knowledge of the Philly market made us feel secure in a city that we didn't know. When we decided to buy, we met with Allison in person, which was wonderful. She took care of us, lined up showings, gave us background information, and her guidance when we decided to make an offer. Allison was a responsive representative and truly our advocate. She put us in touch with amazing teams of RE professionals who led us through the buying process, all the way to closing (hand holding included). We gladly recommend Allison Fegel if you're looking for a place to live in Philadelphia.

Erin Dennison was knowledgeable, organized, and consistently responsive, always taking the time to explain each step and answer my questions. That made the entire experience feel far less overwhelming. During tours, she helped me stay grounded and objective, while also catching issues I might have missed, like signs of a possible ceiling leak, a cracked stair, cracked tile, or other general red flags. When it came time to negotiate, she brought strong comparable local sales to the table and helped secure seller credits. She even obtained an additional roof warranty from the builder. Throughout the process, Erin communicated well with the lender, builder, and everyone else involved. When I ran into a difficult loan officer, she handled it professionally, kept everything moving, and made sure nothing slipped through the cracks. She consistently provided updates, responded quickly, and often worked outside normal hours, truly going above and beyond to get me to the closing table. I'm incredibly grateful for her help and would highly recommend her, especially to other first-time homebuyers.
