I feel as though this company was misleading at best. We are out of state owners and believe their services were not honest. As far as property management I would not recommend them. I really wouldn't even give one star. read more

Horrible place. It is amazing that the broker of the business allows the rental department to be ran by Kristi. It is clear that she acts to be a woman of knowledge and kindness when really she is a woman that is uneducated on how to run an office, on how to treat and be honest to employees, and will stab you in the back to keep herself above water. Be careful if you decide to rent through this office, and be prepared to never receive a deposit back. The office is unorganized and unruly. It would be the smartest thing to never consider renting from here. Turn around, walk away, and go to a rental office in town that has people with an education, organization, professional management and efficiency. read more

Rented from them for 4 years then we bought the property. When we requested our deposit back we were curtly told they had 14 days and they would take that Iong. On day 14 they called us to pick up the check, and had deducted rent! Since we are now the property owners I'm not sure who they are collecting for! The office manager Bill had one of the workers tell me he refused to speak with me and I could seek legal counsel if I thought I had a case. 4 years there, fixed EVERYTHING ourselves, never late on rent and this is how they treated us. We made an offer on a brand new home through Remax which the realtor was told me the "builder" said it was available. They had the 4 sale sign up and it was in multiple. We, did not hear from Remax realtor. Then, the realtor informed us the home was "sold." No pending was posted on the web site. The realtor told us " she would keep her eye to see if it goes pending." "Conveniently" enough, the smaller home next to it was the only one available in the subdivision. We paid full price for the smaller home and the realtor gave us the name of an inspector who "missed" a laundry list of items "he" called COSMETIC. He is a NACHI inspector and when NACHI was informed of the blind inspection, the head of NACHI emailed us telling us to "just dig a ditch by the garage so the water won't go in" and all the things the inspector "missed" was COSMETIC. The head of NACHI also quoted Bible verses after his emails. We trusted this inspector as we had been on the road for 4 months without a home and "thought" inspector dude would be a second set of eyes. WRONG. He missed 2 big blotches on our walls which later turned into many, many blotches on living room, hall and laundry room . I had to twist the builder's arm to get them in to repaint these rooms; I still have blotches throughout but I waited 3 months to get my belonging moved in because I thought they would have to paint the whole house and am too ill to have them paint anymore. Each project they do here, takes days on the email to get done and days for their projects. We slept on cement waiting for them to come back to repaint. The shower stall was missing stones throughout the bottom of it. The builder sent some guy over 3 times to replace and restucco the stall. This guy could not get the color of the stucco correct. Each time, he was as slow as a snail, took at least a half day for him to complete. Finally, they sent over a guy to tell him how to do it correctly. Unbelievable. The walkway has permanent brown stains over it which the inspector called "moisture" and will go away. Only problem is, the stains did not go away. The one who laid the cement called it "winter cement". Only problem is, is cement is suppose to look like cement color not like someone stained it. Of course, one of the other disasters is the block wall outlet had to be lowered as the water did not leave our back yard. Alas, the lowered outlet does not work as the LANDSCAPERS did not level the front nor back and water accumulates where we had to buy 24 ton of pebbles and did not want to landscape with pebbles and wheel barrow it to the entire back yard because of their negligence. They knew the yard was not level and the landscaper did not come back to do it and left us with this disaster . The front of our yard has ditches from the house to the road because the entire front is not leveled as well. The landscapers put one huge ditch from the block wall to the road and the person next store got in my face not to put any more "rock on HIS SIDE." GUESS WHAT, MISTER. I DID NOT PUT IT ON YOUR SIDE, THE LANDSCAPERS DID. The garage has water coming in it all the way along the door and corners. We had to put rags, etc. to stop it. Finally, the builder sends someone out who jack hammers a piece out all along the garage door; water still comes in. The dampers were left off the heating and air and just thrown in a pile in the attic while we had cold weather and heat pouring in one room and not others. We were sweating in one room and ice cold in another. Too many other "COSMETIC" issues missed by the star wonder inspector. Why didn't this NACHI inspector tell us he did not do any of these things he missed? I PAID not only for this place but for his pocket book believing in him and his tribble about him building homes. We NEVER WOULD HAVE BOUGHT THIS PLACE IF WE HAD HONEST PEOPLE . I never have encountered such a disaster at any other home I bought and it will never happen again. Maybe Remax should stop recommending inspectors. I am surprised the Remax realtor never saw any of these items nor the ones I have not mentioned. Not only did the builder and inspector wreck our move in to this NEW HOME but they took months to get their problems correctly and it still is not corrected. It was abusive emotionally and physically. I will watch the next realtor I go through as well. I have permanent medical issues from this move and as a senior citizen it never should have happened. read more

I have lived in one of their properties here for almost two years. Every time I have an issue with plumbing or air or whatever, they always show up as soon as possible and fix it. Even on a Saturday when I had no air, they were there 45 minutes after I called. Today, with a plumbing problem, fast and courteous service. Thank you Remax! read more

This company is HORRIBLE!!! Unfortunately my previous property management company went out of business and turned it over to ReMax. I thought that ReMax was a good name and trusted them for years! What a mistake!! They allowed my property to be destroyed and I had to pay for all the clean up and repairs for thousands of dollars -- more than once! They allowed the tenants to remain on the property without paying rent but still charged me their management fees. I live out of town so I asked them to and trusted them to at least make drive by inspections periodically, but when I came to town and drove by my property I was shocked. It had broken windows, black spray paint all over the front wall, front door hanging off its hinges, and garbage piled up all over both the front and back yards. The interior was also destroyed. When I contacted them, they finally evicted them, but in addition of paying to haul off all the garbage, repair all the damage (painting, replacing carpet, etc.) I had to pay an attorney for the eviction. I had to pay an attorney three times for evictions. They didn't manage the property except collecting rent, but when the tenants didn't pay, they just took it out of my funds so they could still got their management fee. This is only the beginning of the nightmare! I had another property. They lied to me. They tried to charge me for repairs and materials that didn't happen. They hired and way over charged me for friends and family members to do work. When I wouldn't authorize the extreme over payment for very unsatisfactory work, they just took it out of my funds they withheld from me for over a year. I could go on and on about their unethical and maybe illegal actions. I am in the process of making a formal complaint. In the meantime, I urge everyone NOT to use ReMax Prestige Properties located at Stockton Hill Road!! read more

My husband and I went through this realty company to rent our first house. The experience was stressful and I strongly urge anyone reading this to go anywhere but this place. We are not hard people to please, don't expect any ass-kissing, we simply want to be treated like decent people. To start our rental agent left town the Saturday she had agreed to come in so we could pay the remainder of our deposit and get our keys, a 5 minute process. We had been told there is always someone there and didn't think anything when there was an associate there. He had to call our rental lady to verify and she didn't even remember us and told him to give us the keys, the man did not give us a receipt and proceeded to badger us about coming in unexpectedly. We explained we had an appointment with our agent beforehand, to which he waved us off. The house was NOT clean when we moved in, the carpet was filthy and there were light bulbs that needed to be changed, nails still in the walls and dirty areas on them, missing screens and broken window shades. Her nephew is the one doing the cleaning, under the table i suspect, and had left cigarette butts in the garage and backyard as well as his lighter and half full soda in the front bathroom. These are things that were not there when we put in our application. Her nephew also drove onto the lawn up to the side gate to get in the backyard and get things out of the shed, not a good idea in AZ where everyone has a gun. I came home when the man was leaving but my husband had walked out with his firearm inquiring who the guy was. Wouldn't you when some strange man walks into your backyard and you have no idea who he is? I had to make 6 different trips, 3 to get the garage door opener and 3 to find out about a mailbox. I am not an aggressive person and try to give the benefit of the doubt, but this place was across town and with gas prices so high I did not appreciate the extra trips. Then we found out, finally, that we had to pay the postal service to change the lock on the mailbox and give us the new key. She didn't tell us that from the get-go so we didn't have mail service for about a month, and we feel this is something to be included in a deposit and a service that she should be taking care of. Then came time for the lease to be up. In an unprofessional manner she contacted my husband and asked "the landlord wants to know if you're renewing your lease". We told her our 30 day notice would be with the rent next week, when it was due, and we would be out by the end of September. The Friday before the 30th I called twice, once leaving a message with a live person and another on her extension, and I never heard back. We simply wanted to know when we should be in for the final inspection, ect ect. Finally on the 30th my husband called and she told him we don't have to be there for the inspection, just to drop the keys and garage opener to her, and so we did. A week later and we still hadn't heard any info on getting our deposit back so I popped by the office while running errands. All she told me was "I don't know, our inspector works independently. He'll drop the info off when he does it". Seeing as how she was handling other customers I didn't push the matter. There was no company names given, no willingness to find out when it would be scheduled, nothing. I've never heard of an inspection taking this long. I believe it could be the lady's nephew seeing as how he seems to do a lot of these jobs for them and she didn't seem eager to give anymore info. He is not a certified contractor or inspector, he's just a guy who happens to be her nephew. We never paid our rent late and they had no complaint from or about us. I'm sorry this is so long but I want people to really know what happened and why they need to go elsewhere for their property renting/buying. We bought our current house from Realty Executives and they were phenomenal, I'm sure the same can be said for their rental agents. read more

If I could I would give this company a zero rating. I have been dealing with the bs for years. They tell me tenants are moving and then they don't. Say they will fix and clean the property before they rent it to another tenant. Allowing our property to look run down to the point if we wanted to sell it we would have to take a loss due to the condition they left it. Every property manager that we have dealt with has sold our contract to other companies and we ended up here. Just today I complained and I get an email back saying the property manager left the company a weekand a half ago and they are trying to catch up on all of her properties she was managing. I know another owner that had them and their house was destroyed to the point they could not afford to repair it. They are shady. read more

The people working there are friendly; but do not be decieved. They do not fix identified defects when you lease a rental and add unsupported cleaning fees when you leave. Read the lease carefully and document everything. read more
