We hired Remco flooring to install hardwood floor throughout our home. The installers were great, but in the process damaged a new bed we had just purchased months below. Bob assured me that they had insurance that would cover the damage, but when it came time to settle up, not only did he avoid talking to me about the bed or offering a solution, but he did not apply the 20% discount he had advertised. As a result, we ended up overpaying for the job in addition to being stuck with a broken bed. I would not recommend them. read more

We had a floor installed a couple weeks ago by Remco. From the very beginning we were treated great by Bob and his wonderful staff. He was great to work with and the guys who did the install were fabulous. They were great with details and super friendly. I highly recommend Remco. We're so happy to do business with Remco flooring! Bob is super friendly and always reachable. We have done all kinds of flooring work with him and his team. Recently we bought a new house and we needed new carpet in the bedrooms desperately. Bob gave us numerous options of colors and fabrics to choose from and we picked what we wanted and it was in in less than a month. Jerry came in to rip the floor and old rug up threw it away for us and install the new carpet in one day. The work done was absolutely phenomenal! Unfortunately a week later we had a lightbulb that burned a couple spots into the rock I called Bob up and we were able to replace it within an hour of cutting and ceiling brand new and it doesn't even look like any disaster happened! It is absolutely a pleasure to work with Bob and his son and business for all of our projects, they make the experience so pleasent and make sure we are happy and satisfied ! I'm pleased to see that Remco is responsive to customer comments here, but, unfortunately, the response here is inaccurate. It is true that we could not wait for Remco to come and observe the punctured pipe while it was still in place. It was the middle of last summer's heat wave and we had no air conditioning, so the fix needed to be completed while the Lamco team was on site. I personally submitted the itemized Lamco bill to Remco at their store. And further, I made numerous phone calls and stopped by in person to give Remco the opportunity to resolve this issue, all prior to even considering writing a Yelp review or filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The review I posted here was as a last resort due to the fact that Remco was utterly unresponsive. The irony of it all is that since right my original review, we have had new problems with the grout of the very same tile floor whose installation caused the original problem. It looks like we will have to get someone in to redo it. This job is the gift that keeps on giving. read more

Over two different times we had all the wall to wall carpet replaced by Remco as well as a dinning room and hall converted to hard wood floors. We found Remco to be very price competitive for the type of flooring we were interested in and Bob worked with us to stay within our budget. Both installations went flawlessly and we were happy. After a few years we noticed that the lower priced/quality of the carpet in the bedrooms needed to be restretched as there were a couple of raised areas. It is a function of the carpet backing that can occur on lower cost carpeting. They came and provide a reasonable estimate for doing the work. The two guys who showed up to do the work were friendly and very knowledgable - one had been doing installation for over 30 years. Once again we were please with the outcome. Based on our experience we would recommend Remco Flooring. Note: they are now located in another store as the building they were in changed ownership and forced them out. REMCO has been our go-to flooring provider for over 10 years and 2 different homes. Their work is always top notch and the attention to detail they provide is what makes the ultimate difference. Our latest experience was an entry room that lacked and style. REMCO found us the exact style rug we were looking for and installed it in a manner that allowed us not to have to make any changes to the existing tile floor. Remco did the install of all the tile and carpet in our new construction home, 5 years ago. Initially, the work looked beautiful and we were very happy with the results. Less than a year later, we noticed the grout in the kitchen was coming out in chunks. Then entire tiles popped off the flooring. We called the builder who directed us to contact Remco, which we did. After several calls, Remco finally agreed to come look at the floor. They didn't show up to the scheduled appointment. Several more calls and Bob Jr agreed to come look at the floor. He didn't come but sent an employee to look instead. The employee evaluated the floor: when he lifted tiles, it looked like it'd been laid on regular old sand. He said it looked like faulty mastic was to blame. After speaking with Bob again, he agreed it should be replaced and sent a box of tile for us to approve before he ordered enough for the job. That was the last we ever heard from Remco or anyone associated. I called and left several more messages to no avail. After a year of trying to get the issue resolved, we resigned ourselves to get other opinions & have the floor replaced by someone else. Three different companies reviewed the floor and all agreed bad mastic appeared to be the problem. We were advised to wait and see if the problem manifested elsewhere, the difference being whether we should replace all the tile on the first floor or just a specific area in the kitchen. We ended up having enough individual spots of damage in our kitchen that we're replacing the entire 390 square feet of flooring, out of pocket. I don't blame Remco for a bad batch or mix of adhesive but I do feel it's worthwhile to mention they did not stand by the quality of the materials they used and couldn't be relied on to even return phone calls. We were even willing to pay the labor for fixing the floor but never got the opportunity to discuss it because they stopped communicating. read more

I have purchased carpet for my home several times over more than 25 years. Our first purchase was with Bob Sr, and twice more doing several rooms at a time with Bob jr. Over the years, Remco has been consistenly easy to work with, carpet installations have been flawless and prices are fair. On one occassion, years ago, our master bedroom carpet had worn poorly. Remco did all the leg work on our behalf for a refund from the mill. Its been a number of years since we've re-carpetted as the carpet and installation was of such high quality that it still looks excellent. I recall having some concern over where the seam would go in the master bedroom and Bob was adamant about where it should go. After installation I voiced concern over the look of the seam. Bob came out an assured me that with a little time and a little patience the two sections would blend properly and the seam would not be visible. He was right. A few months ago, I purchased carpet on behalf of a client, and again, went to Remco. Remco's patience was incredible ( we used over a dozen color board samples for our client). As has been the scenario over more than 25 years, installation was fast and professional and the price, once again fair. I'd practically feel unconfortable buying carpet from anywhere else. read more

Had my floors redone 20 years ago by Remco. I am ready to have them redone and looked at Yelp reviews. I noticed Remco had one star. I had problems similar to others 20 years ago! They overcharged, they did not respond to problem situations regardless of frequent calls and visits to the store. Had to deal with the problems on our own. Never again. read more

We werer thinking about redoing a lot of the carpet where we live and originally went to the big "STORES" and then I found out about remco . from the original order to the installation , I have to say they were GREAT ! the gentleman that did the instaill were fantastic . the whole experience was a THUMBS UP read more

I am writing a review here after trying to get in touch with Bob for over a year and a half. We moved into a new construction in which he did the carpeting and flooring and we did some customizations. We wanted to move in ASAP since we had a new born and our lease was expiring at the place we lived at. Bob finished most of the jobs before we moved in but one bathroom work was left and we had paid for the tiles etc at the time and he promised the work would be done within a couple of weeks. Well to this day it hasn't been. I've emailed and called a million times. Initially he would pick the call and say he will send someone in but after a while I would leave messages with whoever picked up. We never got a refund or the job done. I'm not saying the work done in our place is bad but really pathetic customer service and do not give them money before they finish the job. If I could give them 0 star I would but Yelp wouldn't let me post my review so 1 Star it it read more
