Everybody seemed helpful and polite, and getting signed up was easy. I found a better position elsewhere, and put in my notice - and was promptly fired (though they phrased it as "accepting resignation immediately"). Granted, it was the client of Remedy that fired me - Remedy should still act like a decent company and pay the remaining wages for the time I would have worked. In fact, that's exactly what their client does for their direct employees. The big problem here is that if you read the Remedy handbook, it states that if you don't leave sufficient notice, your last paycheck will be paid AT MINIMUM WAGE. However, as is all too common, if you give notice, you can be immediately terminated. To add even more fun to the mix, the state of Nebraska does not pay the first week of unemployment when a claim is filed. That means if you do give notice, thinking you'll be paid either by work, severance, or unemployment - you'll probably be fired, not receive severance, and at best will receive one week of unemployment - which doesn't pay much. So, while I did appreciate the staff and the simplicity of the process of working for Remedy, I'm left feeling screwed over and upset about it. If you decide to work here, and not one of the many other temp agencies in Omaha, just be aware that it's probably going to sting your wallet or purse when you leave. If you don't give notice, you get minimum wage. If you do give notice, you can get fired on the spot. Just make sure you don't have rent or bills due. read more

Went in for an interview was told they would get me on with an old company within 48 hours seemed nice enough never heard back and now when I contact them they tell me oh sorry we never got a response which has turned into completely ghosting me over text and calls after talking to other employment agencies and getting hired thru them they have told me with a laugh yeah remedy is trash do better or lose business up to you worst place I have ever applied. read more

I have worked with Remedy several times, this last time i was placed at a not so good fit. The training was one week and that following Monday i was on the phones not knowing 90% of the questions i was being asked, the location was far away also. When i informed Remedy that it wasn't for me i was told that other positions were available and we could take a look the following week, i was excited about the opportunity. That was 3 weeks ago, i have called i have e mailed and no response. Used to be a lot better but now i would not recommend this place to anyone very unprofessional , Boo ! read more

Gave this place 2 tries when I was in need of employment. Never again. They tell you what you want to hear over the phone then when you go in everything changes. They say its a quick 20 minutes to come in and chat. NOPE. The first time I spent over 2 hours in their office when they said it was going to take 20 minutes and never felt like they wanted to help me. I was left alone in a small room for about 45 minutes watching some random videos before they even told my what kind of job i was going to be offered or if I wanted to accept the position. This last time I knew where it was heading and just left as I trusted what was told to me over phone and planned my day around that. I even told the recruiter what happened last time and she said the paperwork you fill out online will speed up the process then I walk in and get handed the same stuff again just like last time. Their goal is to get as many people in their door as possible as I am assuming their recruiters pay is affected by how many people they bring in and that is what they ACTUALLY care about. Never got the feeling either time that they actually wanted to help me but rather help themselves and will say whatever to get you in the door. They don't offer direct deposit and ONLY offer to put your pay on what is basically a prepaid visa card. Which you can transfer the money to your bank but there is a few day waiting period but then the card company charges you to use the card. So basically you get charged to access your OWN money that you worked for. read more

I was working for them in a temp position and I knew the assignment was ending soon and asked that they start helping me look for another assignment. They kept insuring us that there was plenty of work left to do and we had a few more weeks at the assignment. Well a week later we were informed at 830 pm that we were no longer needed. Now I have been out of work for 2 weeks trying to find another place of employment. They stated they would keep looking for other options for me but they have not contacted me once in the last 2 weeks even after I emailed them about a position they posted. read more

You are required to start the workman claim within 10 days of you knowing about the injury Employer or insurer must file injury/illness report with the court within 10 days of receiving notice (Sec. 48-144.01). You didn't. Matter of fact your staff lied about everything. And you continue to lie. Just tell the truth. Pay the claim. Remedy fired me after believing a fellow coworker over myself. Not once did remedy come to me and address the matter by directly letting me know what was going on they just believed the other girl and let me sit in the dark until they were ready to let me go. I was one of the top agents where they assigned me but somehow they still managed to get the black girl out. I would not recommend them. They do not conduct theirselves well. STAY AWAY - TEMP WORKERS BEWARE! these guys run a pretty shady setup: You go in there and they try to court you making the jobs they offer seem more appealing then they are, by willingly hiding various details and/or terms that those jobs might have, so you can sign up for it. This happens both in the initial interviews as well as in the orientations. Once you're at the job site, you're then confronted with the reality of the job reqs, and are pressured to either cave in and do something you haven't agreed upon, or refuse at which point not only you lose the job, but if the company calls remedy and inquires about you leaving, they have a ready-answer telling them they've explained ALL the terms of the job, and therefore it's only your fault for neither understanding them and leaving. At that point they'll just toss another body into that job, hoping the new person will stick. This way of doing business is just par for the course, and those people that leave because they got into something they weren't aware of, are just the cost of doing business for remedy. It's a slimy way of running a business, and they set you up for failure, or indirectly force you to accept something you didn't previously agree upon. If they offer anything, you should have them put it down in writing or record the conversation, even if that might still not save you from them blacklisting you if you leave a job that has terms you didn't agree upon, at least you can show their client/the company you were sent to work for, what terms remedy actually gave you initially. However you might as well save yourself some grief and stay away altogether ....plenty of other agencies out there that do treat their temps respectfully. read more

I work for Remedy Intelligent staffing as a full-time, and the management is very friendly and helpful. It is a fun place with responsible people. They are always willing to help people in need of jobs. Actually I like working for them. I would definitely recommend this company for a friend who is looking for a job. read more
