Since we were in Wells on our way to the nearby Maine Diner for lunch, we thought a stop here would be a fun blast from the past - so off we went. CC is essentially a collective of vendors who are selling their merchandise; the store is divided into little "cubbies" across two floors - with each cubby showcasing a specific vendor and their merch. The selection varies - lots of home decor in varying styles, but I also saw a lot of crap too like used Tupperware and old McDonald's toys from the 90s. There were a few VHSs which awesome if you're collecting those - but then I saw some marked up Beanie Babies? We were truly stepping back in time when entering Cole's. Overall, this was a fun throwback - there's a lot of stuff here to see so you can easily spend a good chunk of time going through each vendor. If you're staying in the Wells/Kennebunkport area it's worth a stop in.

Like things I actually wanted to buy! None of the stupid tourist crap with MAINE written all over it. The staff was also really friendly. They greeted everyone who came in, asked if they could help, and thanked everyone walking out the door whether they bought something or not. The place was full of beach and new england inspired goods that were attractive and funky. Books about lobster, books about new england, retro sand pails, lamps made out of shells, flip flop coasters, starfish, paintings, weathered wood clocks. I highly recommend stopping in, and getting a REAL souvenir to bring back home. And if you're are one of the lucky few who live near the ocean, def come pick out some beach inspired decor for your house.

They have a ton of variety including smaller less expensive items to larger paintings that may cost more. Staff have always been extremely friendly and will greet you with a smile and answer any questions you have. It will always be the store that helped me find one of my favorite local artists Flyn who have since opened their own retail space. Truly the perfect spot to grab yourself or family that item that will remind you of your time in Maine. You will find at least one item you want to purchase if not more. They also have a huge collection of apparel for all gender and sizes, lots of souvenir goods, bags, mugs, Christmas ornaments and few other things. Prices are comparable to nearby other gift shops. There was one lady in the store, very friendly and helpful. She packed our photo frame with paper and wrapped other items we bought.
