Keeping me informed with sales of the day, some of her favorite scents and lip glosses, etc. Shoutout to you Brittany! I entered this location, only needing hand sanitizer bottles and walked out with not only that, but room sprays, lip glosses AND their new lip scrubs.

When I visited this past Saturday and ended up not feeling well the staff was absolutely fantastic and so kind. I was greeted as I walked in the door by Monica, and we chatted about how busy it was because the parking lot was packed! She answered my questions about tax free weekend, and told me about the sales. As I was finishing my shopping trip at the register, I began to feel faint so I asked to sit down for a moment. As I was sitting trying to collect myself, my cashier Riley stayed with me the whole time! She talked with me, reassured me, and brought me water. Monica also came back to check on me. When I was feeling better Riley walked me to the door, to make sure I was alright. I am so grateful for the incredible customer service. Everyone there was so very kind and caring. Whenever I need to shop at Bath and Body Works, this will always be my favorite store. They are the best and I am grateful to them for all of their help!

They are very professional, polite and patient whoever we're choosing items for our family's gift. My family loved their products too. We chose fresh sourdough bread, goat cheese with truffles, and another with figs and honey. Sounds yummy. A tasty white wine to go with the bread and cheese is a great accompaniment. Thank you AnneBeth. I appreciate you for having this establish for all. And it's all priced fairly. I'll be back and will tell friends and family about our experience. Marcia M.

East to find with street parking right across the street. The space is small, but they have a decent cross section of wine, beer and harder stuff. If you're thinking booze warehouse you will be disappointed, but if you prefer more human scale, you can find happiness with Annebeth. We needed a six pack for our dinner at a local crab house. We were able to select a mix and match half dozen of their mostly local brews, which our lovely shopkeeper was able to put together with transferable can clips into one unit. There appears to be other things for sale in the way of snacks and light lunches, but we didn't pay much attention to them. We knew we would be stuffed with Maryland Blues, chowder and key lime pie that night and were saving our appetites until then. It was cool to buy our night's beverages in a shop that might have been selling grog and heavy ales for the last 250 years!

An entire, booming industry centered around decorative, dust-collecting stuff you can purchase so that your home looks like it was ripped from the pages of the Pottery Barn catalog and rivals any space on HGTV. And I mean that in the best way possible! Admittedly, I was kinda hoping that the old hh gregg would become a roller skating rink but I won't complain about another spot in Annapolis to shop for discounted homey stuff. HomeSense is owned by the TJX Companies, it started in Canada and it is purportedly nicer than HomeGoods. But even knowing that going in, I wasn't really sure what to expect. For some reason, I was visualizing the super voluminous size of an "At Home" store but HomeSense is pretty normal sized - lots of inventory but not overwhelming. However, I will say that the Annapolis size is considerably larger than the Columbia location. The Patch (an online local news outlet) noted that Cosmopolitan described HomeSense like "HomeGoods on Steriods" but I didn't feel that way. It had more of some things and less, or none, of other things. What surprised me about HomeSense is how much overlap there is with HomeGoods, which is just a few steps away, also located in Annapolis Plaza. Unlike HomeGoods, HomeSense carries more large pieces of furniture, has more rugs, has hard wired chandeliers and does not carry linens except throw pillows. Regarding the rugs, they have a ton of them at this location. If you need a couch, or a set of easy chairs or a grouping of dining chairs, I think there are some really decent finds here. I saw a chadelier that I liked but it was still around $600 so perhaps it is higher end than HomeGoods. Both HomeGoods and HomeSense have home decor, kitchen items, gift wrap and bags, framed art, mirrors and lamps. HomeSense has a "General Store" section that kinda sucked me in but it was really just organizational stuff and cleaning stuff. I think it's weird that the checkout is mid-store rather than near the door. I bought a big piece of art and it felt odd to carry it such a distance before getting to the exit. I must say, I don't think I ever recall seeing the parking lot at Annapolis Plaza so full!
