Really great perks when traveling here on business. First the rooms were nice, clean, pretty standard rooms but the black soft comfy robe was absolutely amazing to lounge in. Breakfast and cocktail hour happens daily on the 8th floor and had a decent variety spread. The room service was my personal favorite. Flavorful and plentiful meals from Grille23. The staff was incredibly polite especially Teriz. Don't have much experience with the Marriott but this was a great business trip.

    Super comfortable bed

I am enjoying my stay so far and I love all the little touches. My pictures say it all. The bed is so awesome, I crawled back in after my workout for almost an hour and a half. It is soooooo quiet even though I was worried when I saw all the youth downstairs. They have me in the corner room, and it is easily the best in the hotel. Super comfortable. The room service staff are excellent and deserve kudos. Thank you Teriz, Shelby, Michelle, Dustin, Saleh, and Dee who brought my food this morning for the awesome customer service!

    Our complimentary delivery.

Initially we stayed and had a really bad experience. We felt that an employee treated disrespectfully. We complained to the night audit manager and he extended complementary dinner and Starbucks and told us to contact the morning manager. A day later, I spoke with Emily the morning manager who extended her deepest apologies and assured us that our next stay would be amazing. She's a woman of her word! The staff totally catered to us upon arrival and send us complimentary Chocolate strawberries and champagne. Shelby the front desk manager was great as well Teriz working in room service. They definitely regained our confidence, the hotel is beautiful and you'll enjoy your stay!

The rooms are fine, but if you want to have a meeting or event here, don't let them handle food. It's awful.

Service comes in hot and polished, with thoughtful touches (like luxury robes and umbrellas) that feel less like extras and more like part of the composition. The room leans indulgent: down pillows and marble showers with acoustics that, dare I say, will have you sounding like Whitney Houston on karaoke night. Set in downtown Carmel, you're a short stroll from steakhouse showstoppers and easygoing breweries, high notes, low notes, all within half a mile. Even the gym keeps tempo: Pelotons, free weights, cables, kettlebells, and a fridge stocked full of spring water. It's a stay that swings refined, a little indulgent, and effortlessly in rhythm.

I contacted him twice during my stay getting no response. I Was not given the room I booked, and upon check in, the front desk staff told me the hotel was fully booked and the only room they cold give was one overlooking a construction site. The food was horrible. I ordered room service on one of my five night stay. And, I am pretty sure I was served table scraps. When ordering dinner, I asked if it would be served on a dinning cart? The person that took the order replied, " No We Don't do that. You should should have a table in the room ". I did have a small table, bed side doubling as a night stand holding a lamp. The only other option was to dine in the bed, which I did. The burger was cold in the center, cheese was congealed and fries had probably been cooked and reheated at least four times. The Door men (probably young college guys) were great! I Will not choose this hotel on an upcoming visit to Indy. Beware! 5 Star room rates! Not accompanied by 5 star service, food or staff.

It's relatively…read moreclose to Carmel's Arts & Design District and has a handful of restaurants within walking/wheeling distance. I visited the hotel while participating in an event. It's a four-level hotel. It offers connecting rooms, free parking, free WiFi, digital key, an on-site restaurant (I know the breakfast buffet is now $14), an indoor saltwater pool, fitness center, business center, and is in the middle of a residential area with a mix of apartment communities and businesses surrounding it. There's also a patio with a fire pit. I checked in around 4pm - after the allowed 3pm. When I'm on this event, I sometimes get in early, however, I was pretty busy in Carmel. I reserved and received an accessible room, at least by their own definitions. It's accessibility is definitely a bit weak by ADA standards. I am a wheelchair user who was in room 328 and there was definitely barely enough room between the bed and the large dresser. I literally rubbed. If you're in a larger wheelchair or motorized chair, you definitely don't want this room. That said, bed height was good. This was a room with a bathtub that has grab bars - not ideal but workable (and does meet ADA). I had identified being a wheelchair user in my reservation - so I'm a bit disappointed to be placed in as room where it was difficult (but not impossible) to navigate. If it had been impossible, I'd have requested a change. The free WiFi works well. You can upgrade to a premium experience for $4.95 a day. There were handles on the curtain that make it easy for a wheelchair user to open and close them- nice touch. The doorway is relatively light. Elevators are roomy enough for a wheelchair and multiple guests. The lobby is nice and dining area comfortable. I had dinner at a surrounding restaurant, however, I did stay in the hotel for breakfast and was pleased. The main employee I dealt with was friendly and helpful. I had asked for a copy of the city newspaper, however, they didn't have one (they do offer a free USA Today). Overall, this was a positive experience. While the accessibility for a wheelchair user in my room was somewhat disappointing, it was for the most part workable and other accessibility issues were as expected. I would likely return here, however, I might explore a different room to see if I could get a little more comfortable with navigation. The hotel seems to be a bit older and could use a bit of a touch-up, however, it was clean, comfortable, and this was a good stay.

No complaints other than I left my swimsuit in the bathroom, called them the SAME DAY as check out. It's replaceable but I gave the my name and room number all before my checkout time, so there was no gap in when I left and when another person would've come in.

The suites were very clean, large and well appointed with full sized fridge, toaster oven, microwave and kitchen. Popcorn and dish soap on hand for you, too. Housekeeping comes quickly (tip them, of course) and does a good job. Plenty of storage, a laundry hamper, ironing board, etc., two TVs, decent lighting and seating throughout. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The shower was adequate, the toiletries were fine and the vanity lighting was sufficient; air flow was such that the shower did not steam up the mirror and a fan turned on along with the light in the bath/WC area. There was a lovely patio out back with lots of comfy seating. The breakfast was pretty terrific in a comfy area (ice and drinks available 24/7) and all the staffers we encountered were helpful and friendly. The hallways and elevators were a little shabby, but other common areas were great. I looked but did not find a safe for valuables. After our first night, we returned from breakfast to find our rooms were being serviced by housekeeping; unlike the situation in other hotels, the housekeeper did not confirm our identity or block us from simply walking into the room. We discovered another person - a 9-year-old child - quietly relaxing on the sofa while she worked. It turned out to be no problem in our situation, but the lack of a safe and these security issues would give me real concern had we kept valuables, confidential materials or anything dangerous in our room. As it was, I kept the "no housekeeping" magnet on the doorframe after our second night. With that exception, it was pretty perfect for what we wanted. Not upscale in any way, but with everything you needed.

I arrived around 7:00 PM and checked into Room 707 (1 King bed). After a full day of travel, I specifically chose Drury because I expected a safe, clean, and reliable place to rest. I parked, brought my luggage in, and went straight to the room planning to shower, take my medication, and go to sleep since I still had another four hours of driving the next day. When I pulled back the sheets, the bed was covered in pubic hair. This was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. I immediately called guest services to report it. I was exhausted and did not want to move rooms, so I informed them I would sleep in the chair instead. For a hotel charging $178.00 per night, this should never happen. Someone clearly did not clean the room or change the sheets. It also makes me question how often this happens if guests don't inspect the bedding before getting in. Cleanliness is the bare minimum expectation, especially at this price point. I was truly disappointed and believe I should be fully refunded for this stay. Drury needs to do better.

My first choice is always Marriott so I reserved a 4 night stay for my relative. Important to note: at no time during the online reservation was I informed that the reservation was nonrefundable. I believe I only read that the reservation had to be cancelled by 11:59pm. After finalizing the reservation, I belatedly remembered that I wanted to also provide breakfast each day. After scouring the website and finding no mention of a breakfast provided, I cancelled the reservation around 10:30pm. Marriott confirmed my cancellation and did not mention that I would still be charged. I then went to Expedia, found the same hotel room that included breakfast daily. I reserved Expedia's room. Today I found out that Marriott Fairfield Inn did indeed charge me for that cancelled 4-day stay. When I wrote to Customer Service asking why the charge remained on my account, I was told that their cancellation policy was 11:59pm *48 hours prior* to the first reserved day. In other words, I should have cancelled my reservation approximately 36 hours before I made it. Again, I was never informed of the 48 hours prior notice and I was never informed that the reservation was non-refundable. Today I called the hotel itself and was directed to the Sales Manager who would "take care of this matter for you." She did not answer her phone. Nor did she return my call. Thus ends my favored nation status for Marriott.

Check in was seamless and the room was good but could have used some updating (air conditioner was loud, coffee maker was missing a piece, etc.). I slept like a rock thanks to the black out curtains and visited the free breakfast each morning. I like that they have something different each day at breakfast and the coffee was flowing non stop, as it should be! My only complaint about the breakfast scene was the acoustics in the lobby and breakfast area were not good. Theres paneling on the floors so the echo is loud and you have every single footstep, roller suitcase, etc. The attendant had the tv on really loud every day so it was a little hard to think over that. Gym is right next to the front desk and faces the road so you can see people walk on by. I visited a few times and was happy to get a great sweat session in! This location is stellar, very walkable to a number of restaurants and shops. I would walk every night after dinner and felt completely safe when I would go to Meijer each night (I don't live in the midwest so its a luxury for me)!)
