I felt the love from the first time I spoke with Jon Redd (one of the fantastic owners), which continued throughout my stay. It was truly magical. Unlike any other rehab. They do so many different activities to help with recovery; breath work, a cold plunge, yoga, a sound bath and so, so much more. The home is beautiful and welcoming and there is such positive energy there, it is almost surreal. It is peaceful and has great views. I felt at home and safe from the beginning. I was always respected and felt appreciated. The therapy (groups and individual) is wonderful. Of course, it gets difficult at times, but worth every tear. Don't get me wrong, we laughed so very much also during my stay! Oh, and the food! Luis is their chef. We ate like we were dining at a fine dining restaurant every meal! Luis is not "just" their chef, he is part of the Reprieve family, so of course, he is another amazing person. I was skeptical about going to an all women's facility up in the mountains, and it was the best decision I could have made! It was so lovely to see my house-mates come out of their shells and become the strong women they are. I made life long friends. I am so grateful that I stayed at Reprieve. So, so grateful. I contacted him letting him know I have had major issues sleeping & my Therapist who Nick knows well reccomended muscle relaxers & get off Benzos. He would not give me 30 seconds to discuss it. Knowing I was changing insurance, I agreed to pay $200 too see him. I went without muscle relaxers & went to my normal sceduled appointment. I was told instead of $200 it would be $200 plus $100 for each prescription written after 2. I had 4 prescriptions & wanted to add muscle relaxers. Drop the one Benzo. I was still looking at $400 for the visit. He did not have the balls to even talk to me in his office or reception area. It went back & forth between his wife/secretary, she was whispering so soft in the reception area so waiting patients could not hear how they were trying to SCREW me, I could barely hear her. She never called back after saying she would. Nick cannot talk to you face to face. I now have a real Dr., who truly cares. Visit them both & you will see night & day. Money hungry jerk, or a professional that really cares. Contact me & I will give you a Dr. Who cares. It has taken 7 Doctors since my Doctor retired due to cancer, none as bad as Greenwood, but I finally found one. Dont take this lightly or his bullsh*t. Get one who cares, they are out there.

If you are looking for somewhere to continue your care in recovery or get back on track without having to go back into inpatient treatment, there are some great places that are set up similarly, but with Physicians who are doing this for the right reason, and care so much about their patients. I hope this helps anyone considering to go to this place,and I hope that you stop and reconsider, and end up under the care or someone compassionate who cares about YOU and not your wallet.

After a couple days my husband picked me up and took me to the ER where I was treated. Besides fighting them for almost a year to get a refund. Which they kept $5000.00 they shouldn't have. Could have used that to pay for ER and hospitalization caused by their "care". You can experience useless "therapy" like cut and paste or drum circle. You can expect to be used as a labor force by the facility. Chain gang with no chain. You will be run all over creation to AA meetings. Owner is heartless bastard and facility lacks basic business and health care techniques. I have found other people who they stole from. They have been reported to BBB and every service that refers to them.

I remember the car driving up and how angry I was. I was screaming at my mom and crying. I even tried to jump out of the car window. But once I got to the Academy, I met some of the most amazing people who've changed my life. The kids there were just like me, and for the first time, I felt seen. The staff there are some of the most trained professionals in psychological therapy. The staff there also really loved us and cared about us. They made me feel welcomed and always made me laugh. They gave us everything that we needed and, for the first time, I remember us sitting down and thinking that I was safe. At first, I didn't think I needed this academy, but with time, I opened up my experiences and realized things I would never have noticed if not for my perspective changed at the Academy. I made many good memories there and learned things that will stay with me for the rest of my life. I have made friendships that will stay with me for the rest of my life, and the Academy healed my relationship with my family. Most importantly, the Academy helps me find love for myself. I wouldn't be the person I am today if not for the staff, the therapist, my counselors, teachers, and my peers, who pushed me to be the best version of myself. Although during my time at the Academy, there were days I wanted to leave, looking back, I had it so well there, and I miss it every day. I recommend this Academy for those who believe they need it or even for those who believe they don't need it, because everyone can improve in some areas of their life.
