Terrible experience so far with the place. It's over priced. They don't care about you. Even if you have a medical emergency and can show them proof they don't care. They tell you to bring a doctors note within 24 hours or they will charge you $350 for the day even if you have insurance it doesn't matter. The young children working here don't know what they are doing and don't tell you what to do. They leave you sitting there for 3 hours. Idk if this place used to be better back in the day, but my advice is don't do it. read more

Do it !!! My family will forever be grateful for changing our son's life. Seeing our 11 year old crying everyday, not eating and loosing sleep because of OCD and anxiety has been one of the hardest things to see. He lost interest in everything and was slowly loosing himself. Exposure therapy was definitely hard at time but so worth it. Now he's back to himself!!!!! Seeing the light in his eyes again has been the greatest reward. He now knows how to manage his anxiety and has the proper tools to address OCD before it takes over. The staff and program are both excellent. Many individuals or all ages suffer anxiety or a form of OCD. Having researched various treatment centers, I have to say that OCD Anxiety Centers is definitely the best. Their tremendous success rate is witnessed by the amazing improvements of clients with a variety of challenges that share the same goal of a better life. With staff guidance, the clients work together and support one another. It's truly an amazing program that I highly recommend. read more

My teenage daughter was in the intensive outpatient program daily for 3+ weeks. We were on a waitlist for over two years. We were told she would be spending an hour a day with her therapist. She had exactly 15 minutes a WEEK with her therapist. Her exposures were not properly identified and we were told they would be refined but there was no time or priority to do so. It was an expensive program and they pulled out all of the stops including fear mongering when we made the decision to pull her. I felt strongly that the program was more focused on the business bottom line than they were individual patient treatment. The individual technicians in each group were great but not set up for success with the number of people in the group. My expectation was that this would be much more clinical and it felt like an expensive and poorly executed summer camp. The care quality was low and two months later we are still struggling with billing issues. We lost time, money, and healing. read more

I have seen this building a few times while driving on the freeway and called just to check it out and they have two locations. It took a few calls to get an appointment scheduled and the initial intro appointment was back in October (and asked beforehand if they accepted my insurance and they said yes!!) and we discussed what the clinic was, the services it provided and spoke to a therapist who went over items that she thought I should implement in my life and mentioned that I should be going in 3-4x a week. this was surprising to me. She also indicated that the next availability for a follow up appt would be 3 months out - although a ways out, I said OK. No follow ups or emails at month 3, I would call in periodically to check in on whether I could get on actual appt date periodically throughout the last few months with no real response. 3 months pass, 4 months pass, 5 months pass, 6 months pass and they just mentioned that they had no availability. I received an email from them months later (spam email) asking us to vote for them as the 2021 BEST of Specialty Medicine. To say I was surprised is an understatement and I simply responded and replied with my experience and finally received a response from the office manager with this email: "We received your email and are trying to find a solution to get you in with a therapist as soon as possible. Currently we are waiting for one of our Outpatient Therapists ... paneled with your insurance .... or a discounted rate of $90/session, while we wait for her to become In-Network....or I can have you remain on the list until one of our Outpatient Therapists becomes In-Network with Select Health. I want to be completely transparent that it could be another 3-4 months for that to happen... how is it so hard to get an appt. Over 6+ months is insane to me. Just purely on experience and trying to get an appt, I would not recommend this place at all. read more

This is just my experience and people may have had a different journey than mine, but I wanted to share my story. First let me start by saying that I never believed I had obsessive compulsive disorder, even when the staff told me I did. Not only did they not acknowledge this but they proceeded to tell me that I was in denial. (I recently went to to a psychiatrist who diagnosed me as not having OCD.) I had a particular therapist who was extremely unprofessional. She made a lot of uncalled for judgements and comments towards me that were really hurtful and offensive. And when I brought this up to her she never acknowledged this or validated my feelings. One of the clinical assistants in particular was also out of line and insulting. I won't go into detail but my whole experience with this clinic was a complete nightmare. The therapists and staff here are also very fanatical about what they consider to be healthy coping strategies as well as how they perceive and treat OCD. The staff are ready to jump the gun and diagnose you with OCD without considering other diagnoses. I know I am not the only one who has had an issue with this clinic as I talked to another patient who was also attending the clinic, and they were fed up with this whole program as well. This review doesn't even attempt to touch the tip of the iceberg as to what I went through. Needless to say, I wholeheartedly do NOT recommend this clinic. Save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere. read more

They are okay. They helped my kid a lot. Aftercare is a joke. They cannot retain counselors. My kid had several different counselors because the therapists kept quitting their jobs and leaving us hanging. Yes, they are helpful. The could be a lot better though. But have your own plan for aftercare before you ever show up to start the program. They don't want much to do with you anymore with you after you have graduated from intensive care. read more

This. Center. Changes. Lives. It is a godsend. I graduate from the program next week and after only 2-3 months I feel in control for the first time in my life. Where else can you get that?! I am close to tears as I type because of the fact that I just had an experience tonight that a couple months ago would have sent me into a spiral. And instead I thought about skills I've learned (completely different skills from any YEARS of therapy I did before hand) and I walked myself through it. I feel proud of myself, and have the tools to manage this diagnosis now. I have OCD but I have seen friends (clients) enter the program with all sorts of anxiety disorders and leave so much better. Not healed- but better. In control. My brain is a little bit quieter. I've never had quiet before. It's amazing. The staff is INCREDIBLE. From the darling front desk ladies, to the CAs who help you in your treatment, the therapists, all the way up to the director. I have felt so much love, validation, and support. They have a great system to report any issues you have. When I had personal conflict with a CA, I was able to talk to the head people and they took my feedback super seriously. I have been just keeping my head above water my whole life. Now I'm swimming. Please go to an intro appointment and see if they can help you. They need these centers worldwide. I seriously cannot believe how organized, professional, kind, and knowledgeable this place is. I cannot promise it will help you. But i can testify that it's helped me and so many others. It won't get rid of your disorder. But it can help you live with it. I. Love. It. Here. I did the daily program and now am moving on to the weekly and then monthly appointments. I broke into tears last night because I will miss it. It feels more like home than anything ever has. Thank you. For helping me get my life back. And thank you for never undermining how hard it's been, for listening on all the tearful painful horrible days. For giving me the credit, and praising me for showing up. I did a lot of the work. But wouldn't have known how to do it without you. I've been trying to do it for years without you- and now I finally have traction. I'm finally keeping goals and progressing. It's hard. It's a grueling program. You probably don't think you can do it- but you can. Stay with it. It's so so worth it. All the hard days and ups and downs. (Why is the third week when everyone seems to feel it the most? It's like it finally hits them) All of that. All the money. All the time. All the commitment. It is worth it all and more. Our daughter Kelly went through the program last September 2020. She had an incredible life-changing experience. She was diagnosed when she was 2 with an anxiety disorder. Throughout her middle school and high school years she saw a therapist once a week and sometimes twice a week for. She learned some great tools and skills over those years. She graduated high school in 2020 and still was not in a healthy functional place in her life to contribute to community or society. Her world was very small....no driving, announcing to us that she was going to try and go outside for a few minutes, no job, no flying. My husband did lots of research and found the OCD and anxiety clinic in Utah. My husband and Kelly hopped in the car and drove out and she had an intake with the clinic. She was a perfect candidate for the program! She was in the program for 10 weeks. Kelly graduated last December 20 20. She has worked at her first Job ever for over a year now. She drives on her own, she flies on airplanes by herself, and she lives on her own! As her parents, we are so thrilled and excited to see her flourishing and enjoying life! We know that it is absolutely because of the skills and tools that she has learned at the clinic and this process works! We highly recommend it and will continue to highly recommend it to everyone! read more

My son has been going to the OCD Center for 11 weeks and it has definitely help him with his OCD issues which I am truly grateful for.

I have had 3 family members go into this program and come out 100 percent better. This program is amazing and I definitely recommend it. Also it is extremely inexpensive compared to these other places. read more

After tolerating my OCD and anxiety for 24 years I am fighting and winning!! I have been to four psychiatrists, and five psychologists, before I came to The OCD & Anxiety Treatment Center. Everyone that works here is great and know how to help you overcome your OCD. I have never felt more understood or cared for, then while I was in their outpatient program. I found out that I was accomplishing a lot in life before, but I wasn't really living life. Overcoming my emetophobia has been the biggest fight and accomplishment in my life, and trust me it wasn't easy. Through the fear, anxiety attacks, tears, and even physical pain, was the only way to find my freedom. I would do it all over again to be the person I have become today. Don't ever give up on yourself, there are people that care about you. There are people at this treatment center that genuinely care and will teach you the tools to fight and win. YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!
