The thing with second hand bookstores, they can either be in a state of complete chaos, where the book title you're looking for *may* be there but because nothing is organized, you may miss it altogether OR the bookstore can be so meticulously and methodically well-organized that you end up walking out with some book titles you weren't even looking for in the first place. This is what happened to me at Beazley Books located in the quaint and picturesque Pointe-Claire village. The owner was also very nice and seemed to know quite a bit about the writers I picked up. Yeah, I know it's the West Island, but the distance is a lot longer in your head than it really is. I actually timed myself and found that I was there in 30 minutes flat from Lionel Groulx metro on the weekend. It's definitely worth a visit.
