I hired this Cleaning company (Renee) over a year ago for a client that I manage their property for. In Broward. She is currently for now still servicing the unit until this day. About 1 month ago, July 26th 2023 at 1057 am, I called Renee directly to the phone number you see listed for a cleaning to another unit i also manage in the same building. Literally 2 doors down. I asked her to please come out and clean a unit at the "detail cleaning level" that is now $130.00. She was very happy and pleased to hear from me and very gladly accepted the job. She quickly and efficiently sent me by text instructions where and how to send half ($65.00). And so I did, being that I know and TRUST her(The company). "I will have my girls there this afternoon" she tell me by text after the money has been sent. 2 hrs after that, she send a text saying "I apologize, I did not realize we had booked a large job a distance away what is the latest they can get there"? I replied as soon as they can. She replies they are Pembroke pines and they will be there after the Job they are at. So I thanked her for letting me know. The next morning I sent her a text asking her for a follow up, being that they never asked for the 2nd half of the monies. Me " Hi following up, were you guys able to make it"? She replies"Good morning, they went but could not get in contact with anyone" . "but i can send them today, which unit" she asked. I replied 230 is fine! She said " I will let you know wen my girls arrive" i said "no problem" at 309 pm that afternoon " Renee sends me a text "My girls are on the way" so I wait to see.. so at 730 that same after I reply with a thumbs up. and I reply " all ok this time"? Renee replies " To my understanding they made it" I called her at this point and send me text to call her after 4 pm as she was i a meeting. NOW YOU CAN SEE WHERE IS GOING!!! WELL LONG STORY SHORT!!! AFTER ALL EXCUSES were ALL OUT & EXHAUSTED, SHE ENDED UP TELLING ME HER MOTHER PASSED....STOPPED ANSWERING MY CALL AND TEXTS!! NEVER SENT BACK MY MONEY!!! MIND YOU, SHE IS NOW STILL CLEANING THE OTHER PROPERTY I MANAGE AND HIRED HER FOR!!!!! SHE ASKED ME TO SEND MONEY TO SOME GUY NAMED ELIJAH GREENE WHO ALSO CLAIMS HE HAS NOTHING TO DO THE BUSINESS!!! WOWZA!! These girls did a phenomenal job. Highly recommend! I recently rented out a one bedroom apartment. The cute dog that lives there before left a ton of doggie hair. The owner said he cleaned but it needed a deep cleaning big time. I strongly advise you not to use Rb Housekeeping/ Blaqq Slay Cleaning ...whatever name they're using now. They make you sign a contract before they will schedule any cleaning appointments but then they don't honor the contract. I signed up for weekly cleanings, and the minute they finished up, Renee (the owner) would be asking for the next week's pay, sometimes even before they finished the current week's cleaning. Throughout the 2 short months of weekly cleanings I had scheduled, the "team" couldn't make the appointment at the predetermined time due to various family emergencies - 2 separate car accidents - one "deadly" and both happened while the team was on their way to my house. Several hospital visits stopped progress as well - parent had a heart issue, daughter had a baby and a surgical procedure. One of the team member's mothers passed away. Another relative passed away. These personal tragedies all happened within a 2 month span. Their cleaning was below average, but sometimes acceptable. I have never seen our bathroom mirrors look so bad! They cleaned around things, rather than picking up, for example a lamp, to clean under it. Most importantly, they stole $120 from me, claiming they thought it was supposed to be their tip. When I talked to the owner about it, she apologized profusely and said she'd reimburse me on their payday which was 2 days away. If one of my employees stole ANYTHING from a client, I would be there hand-delivering it back that very day! She said she'd send it to me via CashApp. She didn't. Then that following Monday when the team came to clean, Renee told me they were bringing the cash and would take a picture of where they would leave it for me on the counter. They did not bring it. So Renee told me she'd send them back over the next day - Tuesday. They did not. So once again, the owner said she would send them back on the next day - Wednesday. They did not come back. So Thursday, I fired this company and told the boss, Renee, that I wanted my $120 stolen cash back, plus the $145 that I already paid for the next week's cleaning. She ignored my calls due to another family emergency. I told her that if I didn't get my money back by the end of that workday, Thursday, I was going to write a very honest review of her company anywhere I see it advertised. She then told me she'd make certain her assistant paid me. She did not pay me. So here it is Friday, and here's my very honest review. They claim to be licensed and insured, but if that were true, their insurance would have covered the theft. Hopefully you can learn from my mistake in not vetting them properly before hiring them. h, and I should mention that the last time they cleaned my house, they did it (unsatisfactory) in under 1 hour! I was freaking out because I was having last minute weekend guests - I messaged them at 2am on Friday and they RESPONDED IMMEDIATELY! They were so Understanding of my desperation and squeezed me in for the same day. They arrived ON TIME and did an amazing quick and thorough cleaning! The quality of service was quite lacking. Several missed appointments for various reasons. The final cleaning of contract was never performed. I asked for a refund for several weeks with empty promises of getting one. Claimed the CashApp wasn't working, then said they deliver cash and didn't show. Now won't return calls, texts, or emails. I recently purchased a home in PBG, FL, but am still currently living in CT. I was down 2 weeks ago and met with the owner, Renee who kindly made the trip up to my home to go over the cleaning of my house etc. I referred her to a friend to clean her house over the weekend as well. I sent my deposit and even gave the remainder of payment in cash to Renee when we were together for a cleaning that would happen in a week. She was supposed to go to my house on Monday of this week, but claimed to have been in an accident and never made it. Her assistant was going to have other crew members tend to my house on Wednesday, but Ms. Blaq insisted she tend to my house. In the meantime the cameras in my home were turned back on from previous owners, so I could see the work happening while I'm still in CT. Ms. Blaq on Wednesday (just like Monday) was keeping me posted on her trip to my home. At 3 pm she re asked for my door code as she was just about at the house. At 448pm she said she was just arriving. I questioned that and she said don't forget I'm coming from Miami. I played dumb but I knew she was already lying to me again about being at my house. Around 745 I checked in and asked how things were going bc I knew the amount of work that needed to be done. She also lied and said the previous home owners cleaned upon leaving. All pictured below are from the way the house was left. Ms Blaq NEVER arrived at my house. I asked her to bring packages in, and they were still all outside my door. These pictures are from my best friend and contractor who were at my house on Thursday. Both over seeing my house. My contractor also was at my house on Wednesday when Ms Blaq claimed to be there to check on it. Ms Blaq also states that if you are not satisfied with your work she will refund you. Well if she doesn't even do the work she will block your phone number and keep your money. She is a fraud. Her company is sneaky. She didn't even use a vacuum cleaner in my best friends house. Used the wrong product on her floors which are now ruined and she has to spend thousands of dollars to get fixed. Ms. Blaq should be ashamed of herself for operating a business in todays society. DO NOT HIRE Ms Blaq and RB interior design. Unfortunately karma will take care of this one. I debated posting but I don't want someone else losing money. Shame on me for paying Ms Blaq in full before the work was done but we had met, we were working together, and I trusted her. So this is on me too. Omg this cleaning service was the best i had been searching on yelp for the longest for someone to clean my apartment because i just was too lazy to do it honestly, and it was becoming to much. This was a no judgment zone and they made me feel so comfortable. I work overnights and i was able to trust them to do what needed to done while i slept.
