After reading the positive reviews I decided to book a move in / post construction cleaning with First Class Cleaning FLA. I originally contacted the owner, Andrew, who provided me with an estimate that seemed fairly priced. Once I was ready to book the appointment Andrew was out of the office and advised me to contact the office. I used the online portal to book and to my surprise the estimate was higher than Andrew had quoted. Although I was hesitant to book because of the inconsistent pricing, with all the positive reviews I decided to schedule the appointment anyways. Rosy arrived 15-20 minutes after the booking which was scheduled for 9:30am, no big deal. She was very sweet however, there was language barrier. Nonetheless she was prepared with using a translation app. Doing a walk thru of the empty residence, I pointed out everything that needed to be cleaned (walls, fixtures, blinds, floors, cabinets inside and outside and closets) this took probably another 30-45 min going back and forth using the translate app which got a bit tedious. I left the residence for her to clean and requested notification when she was close to being finished for me to inspect. Close to dinner time maybe around 7pm I had returned to the residence without receiving any notification on Rosy's status. When I arrived she was by herself still cleaning. What she did clean looked amazing however what she did not clean was definitely noticeable. I was extremely surprised that only 1 person came to clean because this was suppose to be a post construction, deep clean, which would require more than 1 person IMO. Nonetheless, I pointed out some blinds she failed to clean in the master bedroom where construction was had. In front of me, she took a rag and did a superficial wipe down (she did not clean the blinds individually therefore there was still residue left on them). Also noticed the sconces on the stairway were not dusted and she did a quick wipe. At this point anything I pointed out that she had missed felt rushed. Before I could finish my inspection of the cleaning Rosy left! For the next hour I took photos and videos of me wiping missed areas throughout the house and sending them to the office. They suggested Rosy to come back the next morning to finish the job however, this was scheduled for the job to be completed on the same day and I had movers scheduled the following day. Therefore, I declined their offer. For the next few weeks I received consistent follow up text messages eager for someone to return to complete the job. At this point, the services I needed were incomplete since it was for a move in deep clean and now I was moved in. I repeatedly declined their offer as it just seemed to be a hassle and inconvenience with trying to sort out belongings and feel settled in. At a certain point Andrew reached out to me and he was apologetic but again requested for me to send the same photos and videos that I had initially sent to the office of my dissatisfaction with the job. By this time I was annoyed and wanted to be done. I resubmitted the photos and videos and attempted to negotiate on pricing. I came up with a reasonable amount IMO which was half off. Instead Andrew wanted to note every little thing that was not done and minus the cost of that from the total. In the end, we came to agreement of cost. I made a few suggestions such as having more cleaners to come so the job could be executed as expected. In summary, I'm sure this is a good company however, for my needs it was less than satisfactory. read more

Went on Yelp on Sunday night requesting quotes for cleaning needs. Immediately got a call back from owner Andrew Small. We went through the details and I explicitly advised that the work should begin Wednesday at 9am after he proposed Tuesday as I had a busy morning on Tuesday; he agreed. I paid a deposit and set up my access code for entry to my home for the cleaners for Wednesday as I would be out of town. Fast forward to Monday night, Andrew calls my phone at 10:47pm and texts me (I was sleeping of course) and says cleaners are coming tomorrow (Tuesday) at 8am! This again, is after we agreed upon Wednesday at 9am. As I'm in virtual meetings and presenting at 8am today (Tuesday), my door bell is ringing incessantly and Andrew is texting me that his staff cannot access my home! I requested and received a refund for my deposit and will seek services elsewhere. There are a lot of cleaners looking for work. Totally unprofessional, disorganized, no regard for someone's sanctity calling at 11pm at night and then just sending people without confirming. This past weekend I ended up experiencing a predicament I would never wish on anyone. One of my tenants moved out of one of my properties, and the mess they left behind was astronomical. As soon as I requested the service, I received a phone call from Andrew Small, the owner, who quickly helped me schedule an appointment for Saturday. He was friendly, helpful, and throughout our dealings his level of communication was top notch. A perfect example of this took place on the day of the job. Once Saturday came, his staff was incredibly punctual. Sadly, because of the aforementioned predicament the young lady who was to do the cleaning recognized quickly enough that it would be a tall order for her, and contacted Andrew, who immediately got in touch with me. He quickly informed me another staff member would be on her way to replace and get the job done. And that's when Yenny came into the picture. She was incredibly. When I returned to the property it was an entirely different place from the one I was handed by my tenants. Yenny was able to bring it back to life, and make sure it sparkled again. She was incredibly detailed. A refrigerator and a stove oven, two areas of incredible concern looked as good as new. She even took the time to removed some incredibly hard marker marks that had been left behind on the refrigerator's door as well as the cabinet doors. My typical cleaning company was unavailable for my move-out date, so off I went to search for an alternate. Booking with First Class Cleaning FLA was a breeze. The website is very user friendly and they send you e-mails reminding you of your upcoming appointment. I do wish I had gotten a little bit better communication though. I don't recall getting told the name of the person who would come to my home. The girl hired to clean, Maria, showed up to my place, in uniform and ready to work, but it felt awkward that I didn't know her name beforehand. Maria went straight to work and did a thorough job, so much so that my neighbor who was moving the next day ended up hiring her, too! Awesome really. She also had a very calming presence, which I heavily appreciated because when you're moving out, it's insanity everywhere, and well, I had movers and boxes and so much going on that day. Price was a bit higher than expected, but that doesn't phase me given the quality of work. I will say that I was surprised to receive a text from Andrew regarding payment. I was very clear at the time of requesting the device about the size of my apartment and when they arrived that info was not related to them, and they seemed a bit annoyed about the Javi t to clean what was asked of them.
